OK. So it looks like FOX won't cancel it anytime soon, what do you guys think of it?

The series is going pretty well, I actually like it better than the new Family Guy. Stan is fucking hilarious - even tho his coworkers seem to change every week, I like how he exploits his CIA powers. and nice to know they're up to date:

:lmao: :lmao:

I've been really impressed with it so far. The characters are developing nicely and it's been pretty original so far.

The raccoon bit in the middle of the last episode was great too.

At first it didn't really impress me. Now every episode have seem to gotten better, I'm glad I didn't pass it as a failed attempt from Seth.

It's not as great as Family Guy, but I'm still liking it. This weeks ep was a lot better than the week before. It seemed like they were trying too hard in that one.

The political/patriotic humor is funny, but tends to get old.

Yeah...doesn't seem to be much politix now and more of Steve trying to sex girls, with Roger helping out HA HA! I like his friends, the Japanese kid with the subtitles and Steve responds to something else. And the fat kid looks like Peter.

Watching Family Guy nonstop on reruns for the past year, I noticed lotsa "homages" or familiar lines, like the skin cells who go "Just take the damn compliment" became those gay anchorman.

American Dad is good but not good enough.
Family guy is superb.
But still I feel empty without Futurama.
If Futurama would come back and it would mean american dad being cancelled then I would say to hell with amecan dad!

Well, yeah. Futurama was great. Mind you, that's comparing 4 seasons of Futurama to 3 eps of American Dad.

American Dad still needs time to get comfortable with itself.

I still miss Futurama though.  :(

I watched American Dad for the first time like a week ago, and I actually thought it was as funny as Family Gu    For me, Family Guy had been getting less interesting lately, so it's really cool to see this new weird & amazingly funny show.

The show is getting more likable now, and a bit more edgier every week. Last weeks episode wasn't as funny as the epsode about two weeks ago where Stan beat up those strippers. Still it was pretty damned funny like when Toshi, the japanese kid, yelled out "GODZIRRA!!!" at that freaky lookin' cousin.

I agree. Maybe because I watched the first 3 seasons non stop and compare too much.

What did you think of this week's episode??

IT WAS FUNNY! I was like "no way, they can't kill off Roger" but he ended up with a retirement community. haha. and I like how they sent out the old lady as the alien in the end.

This week was funny! The full Patriot Act thing gone wrong...that Abu Ghraib prison photo at the end was choice. :D

what reference was that whole power plant scene from? where the guy killed his co-worker with Roger's golden diamond studded shit and then found out his wife was cheating on him and it went "to be continued??" that was fuckin hilairious.

I know this isn't the reference - but it reminded me a lot of the Pedro side-story in Excel Saga. Maybe they're both parodying the same source? (Of course the 'Monkey's Paw' folktale is the origin of some aspects of that story too.)

And I agree, this was on of the best episodes yet. The "We don't like blacks" line from the Iranians was amusing, as were Stan's lines throughout.

Again a solid episode!! Seeing Stan test his ass-kissing limits when the CIA Boss was doing his daughter. I can always count on American Dad for a good old fight scene too. CLASSIC! :thumbsup

And the fish with his DVD commentary. FUCKIN HILARIOUS!!

I agree that it was a pretty good episode. This was the first time that Klaus was actually funny. Now that the characters are somewhat established they can increase the humour/randomness.
