Well, I've only started listening to AKB48 for a couple of days, and I must say, I'm hooked. I cannot wait for them to appeal to a bigger audience, though I think it might be better for me to not understand some of the words they say. Their singles have a nice edge to them though and the girls are cute....but it will take forever to memorize them all.

95% of my video files are MPEG4... don't know what your problem is, but it's NOT the MPlayer.

Well, since the "asshole" seems back on line, I'll make some encodes and post'em along with the VOBs, once i finally get all of the CDs i ordered...
they shoul be here pretty soon now... i guess. $:-\$

You should go check HMV JP, I think the prices are better.
I ordered last week when they had a sale, buy 2 DVDs get 25% off. They have the sale from time to time.
I would think twice before order anything from Amazon JP...they changed the shipping, no more international economy, express only, shipping rate is sky high!

My total from HMV JP on the 6 DVDs, US$185 (with shipping). Thanks to my tax refund!

^ The first results had items of 29.500 yen, I think the first page would have gotten me above the amount you mention easily.
The problem is not only shipping, its also customs charges (e.g. add about another 20%)

Now, about the "bonus" vids for each single, i won't post any VOB... Main reason is because they are both fucking huge and i'm running out of space... I could have up them to the "asshole", but it doesn't seem to be that stable right now.

Then, the "making of" things aren't usually filmed in super-high-quality, so i don't see the point of upping a big ass VOB for that... So, i will up only encodes for those extras.

About the "Keibetsu" bonus DVD, Tara already upped a perfectly fine version of the Making of, so i will only make another encode for it if some people rather want to have a DivX file instead of a WMV one...

And as for the "Aitakatta" bonus, there isn't a Making of video... Instead, we get to see something called "AKB48 History", that is made from 95% of the footage from the "AKB48 Monogatari" TV thing...

Only differences are a few extra-shots, and the fact that the video is commented by Takahashi Minami, Nakanishi Rina, Ayaka Umeda and Oshima Yuko. This file is currently being encoded and should be posted soon...

After that, i will start posting DivX encodes for each PV, along with the full single rips...

Next week, i guess.
