Intense as fuck! They showed more clips on the news. The explosion was LOUD.

What worries me is that 1. either nobody saw it coming or 2. they knew and chose to not warn people.
Both are pretty scary scenarios, especially with that other huge one passing Earth tonight!  :panic:

SHIT!!!! just breath taking footage. makes you wonder if some shit like would happen here. it did actually, 2008 Alberta-Saskatchewan but not to damage like this to buildings, it burned into a field or smth.

According to Neil deGrasse Tyson, this meteorite was too small to be detected ahead of time...and if it was big enough to be anticipated, we'd be screwed.

I experienced something similar while vacationing with a friend in northern Wisconsin. The crack, the light. It is an incredible sight, if you are not in its path. As nopted by scientists, these things happen, often without notice.
