In Hello! Days 6, she preformed the English song "The Rose" WHILE playing the piano AND singing at the same time! I mean, it's not that hard to play the piano part for that song, but it sure takes talent to do those three things at once (since she's not fluent in English)

I LOVED her dress for that part, too~

Definitely agree! She has an awesome personality/sense of humor to take everything that's said about her.

I love, though, how it's a treat to see her every winter performing for the winter tours! Definitely one of the best things every year for H!P for me~

Someone told me a story about Kei.That some tv comic was playing a prank on some members and annoying them with a camera.Anyway this comic had been annoying Risa and made her cry.Kei came out of nowhere and grabbed the camera off of him and threw it at him breaking the camera.She then went a comforted Risa.

I would like to see more of Atsuko too.
Getting something with Kei in it would be great.I have always wondered why Kei 's never had a solo single release as Kei has such a lovely voice.

Oh. snap.
That is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. Kei is super, SUPER talented... and her english was pretty good as well. Then again, she always was pretty quick during Ayaka's lessons. I wish she would do more than dinner shows with people and Uta Doki! though. (Not that I'm knocking either. I'm thankful for Uta Doki because it gives us a chance to hear Atsuko and Maeda perform, too. Hoorah!)

modesta, look for H!M ep from 2003-04-20, that might be the one you're looking for.
I just found mine and gave it a quick check.
"AFOD" is performed on it, and there is a backstage review by MM, and during the performance there's a spotlight put on Kei-chan.

It's also the ep where all the girls have a get together like a sleepover, setup in a room with cameras, of course, and a couple of puppies in the room with them.

Her voice is distinct and her attack is precise. she has good vocal control even in the high notes (check out As For One Day).

I personally feel her authenticity when she makes TV appearances... what you see is what you get...

plus, she was charmy's mentor... WHO ON EARTH WOULD NOT FIND THAT AS A PLUS???

I wondered why they were doing that, and why she was taking it in stride. After that I watched more stuff and she grew on me with her antics and the like.

From what I can remember/decipher:
- She only ever had 3 mins and 45 seconds of PV screen time during her entire 5 years in the group.
- When she first joined, she struggled to find her position (in a group of cute girls, she felt like the odd one out).
- Those first years on variety shows she wasn't too interesting, and MM's manager said that it was better that she didn't speak for the rest of her life (?? not sure about this one).

- Other members had PBs in fancy locations like Hawaii or Guam, but hers was in Azabu Juban lol (a district right in Tokyo).

- She calls herself the "Teased Ace(?)," and the pioneer of the teased-idol. Whenever she introduced herself and would blow kisses at concerts, fans would reply with "eww" lol.

- After graduating, she found dating to be tough. Something about waking up alone after drinking a lot at Goukon's (group dates).
- Her dates wouldn't want to hold her hand when out in public.
- When dating got tough, she thought about looking into fans who loved Yasuda Kei(?). But she said that she had no fans lol (fans that considered Kei-chan to be their ideal type anyway).
- A lot of times, guy friends she had would use her just to try and get dates with Rika/Nacchi/Maki (Kikuchi really agrees on this point, and says she has the same dilemma(?) being friends with Maggy).
- When she found her husband, she was lucky because he was a person who did not know about Morning Musume, so her kimoi character was unknown to him (her kimoi-chara is often what was off-putting for potential suitors).
- Years later, she's now quite happy. Her wedding photos are adorable, etc.

This is just a rough summary of her points though, since my understanding of the language isn't great.
