Remember when WWE Diva "Kharma" (previously known as Awesome Kong in TNA) announced that she was taking some time off because she was expecting? Well, some really sad and tragic news has now come to light.

WWE Star Kia Stevens -- My Baby Didn't Survive the Birth
3/7/2012 12:50 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

WWE star Kia "Kharma" Stevens did not deliver a healthy baby boy on December 31st, despite what she told friends. Kia tells TMZ the child tragically died before she was able to give birth.

Kia tells us she is still devastated over the loss ... and initially lied to friends about the child being "healthy" because she was incredibly emotional and was afraid to tell the public the truth after announcing her pregnancy on live TV.

Kia says she's finally coming to grips with everything ... and wants to help other women in her situation.

"I am planning to start a foundation for women that have experienced the same thing" ... Kia says ... adding, "It's a bigger club than people think."

Kia tells us she's already organizing several events to raise awareness ... and will have information about her foundation available on her Twitter page in the near future.

John Cena vs. the Rock: WrestleMania XXVIII
« Reply #1441 on: March 24, 2012, 12:58:28 PM »
I will be there, albeit very high up in the stadium...I mean way high up.     I had the great seats for Survivor Series in Miami in 2010, like 25th row, but I just wanted to be there for this one.

Anyway, if anyone doesn't follow wrestling, the Rock is returning after an 8 year abscence to fight the Hulk Hogan of this generation, John Cena.  They first announced the match the day after the last Wrestlemania 1 year ago.

No prob I realized after I posted.  I haven't heard about Stone Cold being there, but he made a lot of appearances this year so I wouldn't be surprised.  He was talking on the show this week about the late Yokozuna who is being inducted into the hall of fame.

wouldve been better if lesnar roughed him up first... even marks gotta think that cena would fight out of an f5 while lesnar just stands there for 5 seconds with cena on his shoulders without so much as breathing on him first.

WWE fan dies in cousin's chokehold

A Louisiana man died at his own "Wrestlemania 28" party after he refused to "tap out" of his younger, much smaller cousin's "rear naked choke hold," causing him to stop breathing, police said.
Stephen A. Arceneaux III, a 24-year-old from Destrehan, was pronounced dead at 10:39 p.m. Sunday night, The Times-Picayune reported.
Arceneaux had invited a number of friends to his home to watch the pay-per-view professional wrestling event.
He and his 14-year-old cousin began wrestling on an inflated mattress at the party and the teenager, who weighed just 110 pounds, placed his arm around the 220-pound Arceneaux's neck.
Witnesses said Arcenaux was in the hold for 30 to 40 seconds, but refused to give up or "tap out."
When one of the witnesses saw Arceneaux turning blue, they told the youngster to let go, but by that stage he had already stopped breathing, the report said.
Arceneaux's girlfriend tried unsuccessfully to revive him before he was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is continuing.
"It's bizarre," said Sheriff's Office spokesman Capt. Pat Yoes. "We're still investigating it. But when you have violent horseplay like that, it just goes to show you that anything can happen."

UNIONDALE, N.Y. (AP) — WWE superstar John Cena granted his 300th wish to a 7-year-old Pennsylvania boy with a spinal condition, continuing his streak as the most popular celebrity granter in Make-A-Wish Foundation history.

Jonny Littman wanted to meet his hero, and the WWE accommodated that wish Monday night before an episode of "Raw" live from New York's Long Island. But Jonny got a bonus to his wish.

On Wednesday morning, Jonny was being interviewed on "Good Morning America" when Sam Champion asked him about his green T-shirt. After Jonny told him it was John Cena, Champion asked if anyone knew the WWE Superstar.

The pro wrestler and actor walked out to Jonny's surprise and presented him with another gift. This time it was tickets for him and his family to attend the 1,000th episode of the WWE show.

To put Cena's 300 granted wishes in perspective, Michael Jordan has granted around 200 and Kobe Bryant is in the 100-wish range.

"I truly give hats off to Make-A-Wish for keeping statistics," Cena said Monday before the show. "They had a nice little celebration for me at 200, and I humbly said we should do it at 1,000.

"We're just getting started," he said enthusiastically.

But Cena was clearly touched by the latest one.

"I'm just flattered completely that I could be the wish," he said.

Jonny, from Hop Bottom, Pa., has severe congenital malformation and spina bifida and uses a wheelchair. He spoke to his hero for a few minutes and took some pictures with him.

He even put on his WWE Championship belt. His mother, Ruth, says his surgeons wore it during his last surgery.

After signing T-shirts and WWE merchandise and presenting him with a videogame system, the superstar graciously walked out of the room. Cena prepared for his featured match, and Jonny and his family waited to go into the Nassau Coliseum for a live televised weekly show, "Raw."

After he left the room, Jonny chanted: "Cena. John Cena. Cena."

Cena is following a WWE tradition of granting wishes. The organization grants about 140 wishes per year between requests to meet WWE Superstars or attend its live shows. The tradition started in the early 1980s with Hulk Hogan being the most requested.

And while these wishes make children with life-threatening medical conditions feel good for the moment, organizers say they also have a lasting effect.

Make-A-Wish CEO David Williams cites cases in which seriously ill children clung to life for weeks and sometimes months in anticipation of the wish. Surveys by his organization found that many doctors and nurses felt the wish had a physical benefit to the patient, and most families said a wish strengthened the entire family at a fragile time.

"They said it was a very much needed boost," Williams said.

The organization has 30,000 volunteers who help carry out the wishes. Corporations, airlines, hotels, and other donors assure that most wish requests are met.

Still, Williams said, "Every year in the U.S., 27,000 are diagnosed with a life-threatening illness, and the organization serves about 14,000. For every family that we're helping, there's a child that we are not."

As for Cena, "I know this is the entertainment business and there will come a time when I'm not requested, but I'll still be donating my time and money, I love what they do."

Triple H, WWE Superstar ...SHAVES HIS HEAD!!
9/5/2012 3:42 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Hunter Hearst Helmsley has done the unthinkable ... HE CHOPPED OFF HIS FLOWING GOLDEN LOCKS!!!

TMZ obtained photos of a shorn Triple H posing for pics with fans outside Titan Tower in Connecticut earlier today ... barely recognizable without his signature mane.

Triple H had rocked the long hair ever since he debuted in the WWE in 1995 ... it's unclear when he decided to hack it off.

But ... HHH has been contemplating hanging up his tights ever since he lost to Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam ... and now the new 'do could be a sign that he's decided to leave the ring for good and commit to his corporate job with the WWE.

September 10, 2012

During the tag team match between Kane & Daniel Bryan and The Prime Time Players tonight on Raw, viewers may have noticed members of the audience and WWE production team staring toward the commentary booth, as well as the absence of Jerry “The King” Lawler’s voice. WWE.com has learned that the WWE Hall of Famer collapsed at the announcers' table and was tended to in the locker room area by WWE medical staff. Jerry Lawler Collapses During Live Raw; Has CPR Performed As Michael Cole Informs Viewers “This Is Not Part Of The Show” [UPDATE]
Timothy Burke

WWE's Raw has gone silent in Montreal tonight as wrestling legend Jerry "The King" Lawler collapsed at the announcer's desk and immediately received CPR during tonight's live airing of the program.

The show's currently airing without commentary as host Michael Cole informed viewers of Lawler's condition and assured them that it was "not part of the show." Spectators at the event can be seen in the above video completely ignoring the action in the ring and focusing on the medical attention being given to Lawler on the right side of the screen.

Cole attempted to continue with the commentary before apparently being pulled off the broadcast. The Montreal crowd, meanwhile, is chanting Lawler's name. We'll update this post as we learn for information. [USA]

Update (10:40 p.m.): Raw just reported Lawler is in a Montreal hospital and breathing on his own.

Update (10:57 p.m.) The latest TV update reports Lawler is responsive and awaiting a CT scan in a Montreal ER.

Jerry 'The King' Lawler - 'Awake, Alert and Responsive'

Jerry "The King" Lawler is making tremendous progress after suffering a heart attack earlier this week ... and is now awake, alert and responsive ... this according to Lawler's son.

TMZ spoke with Kevin Lawler ... who tells us, "[Jerry] is hooked up to tubes and is still not able to speak … but he's writing stuff on a notepad to talk to people."

"Not just brief notes, but detailed stories which show he knows where he is and what is going on.”

Kevin says the family was concerned about brain damage because Jerry wasn't breathing for several minutes after suffering the heart attack ... but doctors say so far, it appears Lawler's brain is fine.

As we previously reported, 62-year-old Lawler suffered the heart attack on live TV on Sept. 10 during a taping of "Monday Night Raw" in Montreal.
