[TV] Hanbun Esper starring S/mileage & Mano Erina

Can't believe there's no thread for this.

Mano Erina plays an ESPer who can't quite get her powers working right. After escaping from the super secret facility she was confined to, she's tasked to explore the world and to become a full ESPer in the process (she's only half esper, as one can probably surmise from the title). S/mileage plays a group of girls who have their own broadcast radio show. The show also has guest appearances from other H!P girls, with Takahashi Ai, Michishige Sayumi and Niigaki Risa appearing in eps 1 2 and 3 respectively.

I think my favourite has got to be episode 2, with Sayumi. She starts off as an incredibly annoying person, but to the end you can see that Mano managed to change her by being nice! Also, I couldn't stop laughing at the burned bento. Episode 3 paled in comparison; Risa just isn't very funny..

There's only 3 subbed eps out at the moment done by Hyakupa subs, but they're pretty good quality subs.

I think I've never seen such a cheapiest crappy thing like that, and I kinda like Mano...

I've watched episode 01 drunk and I think alcohol gave me the weakness not to stop it immediately and watch it entirely...
But I think I've lost some neurons... (not from alcohol !  ) 

I can't imagine watching the other episodes unless some H!P girls I really worship is in there...  

I guess I'll keep 2D Mano & concerts Mano...

In watching this series, I can't help but wonder if some parts of it are simply ad-libbed (e.g. the "auditioning comedians").

Nah, he's talking about one part of the eps where she teleports into an audition room and starts judging comedy acts. It's weird as hell (not that the rest of the show isnt), especially that one chick with the hanger in the first ep lol.

Yeah, the "comedians" are pretty bad.  I think it's kind of funny though how Mano-chan reads her criticisms off the papers she has in front of her.  Reminds me of high-school-level video projects where no one memorizes the script and reads off it on-screen.

Funnily (or unfunnily, as it were), those comedians are actual geinin. New ones, but they actually do that shit.
