HMV's online store is now taking pre-orders for PlayStation 3 - providing consumers are also willing to purchase a 4GB PSP pack for a total price of GBP 675. (http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=72601)
A Sony spokesperson told GamesIndustry.biz, "This is just one of a number of value added incentives that retailers will be offering to mark the launch of PS3."
Roger Federer would struggle to match that level of spin

Um. What? "This is just one of a number of value added incentives that retailers will be offering to mark the launch of PS3." Yeah, sounds like a real value- being forced to buy a PSP because the PSP is doing sucky.

It's just sheer greed.
Sony Europe are the biggest dicks in the history of dickery.
-
hey PSP aint that bad, i got one... but still, making you buy one is just whack
-
So if you already have a PSP, you probably shouldn't even bother.
-
^ Exactly. This is a slap in the face for anyone that owns a PSP and wants a PS3, as they are now forced to look somewhere else to get it because of this ridiculous scheme.
-
Well i would imagine that other retailers wont be doing this offer and that HMV with not do well because of this.
-
This is the craziest Thing I've Ever Heard  Now Getting a PSP for free sounds like a deal to me ;)
-
So they only offer the PS3 with the PSP and not without it? Sounds pretty ridiculous.
Picked this from Bit-Tech -> Wii is an impulse buy, says Sony (http://www.bit-tech.net/news/2007/02/02/wii_is_an_impulse_buy_says_sony/)
