It was already established in the thread that MIKAN means mandarin orange and not the mandarin language. And this is what Tsunku does, he uses words that have so many different meanings, we'll have to wait for the lyrics to see what he meant either the fruit (not sure what it represents), or the unfinished thing

The unfinished interpretation sure sounds better than the unpublished one xD
But I prefer the mandarin orange one, it sounds like something funny and catchy. The unfinished one sounds fine to me too, though.

Hello, I'm reyfer niece. My uncle say to put this here.

Hi. it's 11pm here in Tokyo. I asked my niece to copy and paste this e-mail for the forum. Seems like the meaning of MIKAN is not mandarin orange, but judging from the lyrics I heard from a fan recording, the meaning is unfinished, like I suspected. The lyrics I could hear clearly make constant reference to "one more chance", so unfinished is what fits the description. Will let you know tomorrow after the concert.

I like it! The chorus is catchy and I think the studio version will sound great. I didn't like the opening though.

This song is nothing like I expected

I expected a christmas, winter type, aruiteru, sweet song.. However, I do love what I'm hearing! Can't wait for it to come out!!

WOW! I didn't except this either! I thought it was going to be a boring ballad but boy was I wrong! I love mikan so much!! I love the "One more chance!" part its so touching!

I can't really hear who gets the leads until the end I hear Ai and Reina but the song is so catchy and fun! Puts you in a good mood
