Does anyone have their Oricon rankings/sales for all the singles?
I'm one of the people who thought W's first two singles were strong, but their last 3 haven't been as good.

W needs to decide on their marketing approach. They can either be the cutesy Mini Moni2 they are in half the songs, or the sexy Tatu2 they are in the other half. Switching between the two is just confusing.

This comment will probably give me away as pretty much a newb when it comes to H!P - BUT I just have to say how much I get confused by Tsuji & Kago, and how much alike they are. They are both so cute for me, and I could watch them for hours (heh heh, sometimes I have!) But I still get confused about which is which. What are some clues pple use to tell the difference?

Kago's body type is more 'solid' compared to Tsuji, who has more of a lean and slim frame; that's one of the key differences to tell who'se who. after being an H!P fan for a while, you'll just be able to tell instantly.

And if you're watching older (pre All-Stars) videos or appearances, Tsuji is the one with "fangs." They've been fixed since then, though.

No-one has any further news / sightings / info about Aibon and her future? Last thing in the thread was 20th April which is a while back (that rumour - surely only a rumour? - about alleged suicidal tendencies)... Has there been any further comment or anything in any of the Japanese sources? Please don't forget to post here if you see anything, no matter how small (but preferably reliable, heh heh!)
My wife saw her shopping the other day.
She's been living back at her parents house (just down the road for my in-laws) since getting suspended, and has been keeping a really low profile. Like, it's rare for her to leave the house. So not, I don't think she's genki. Probably just doing what she told though.

The Goto HaroPuro concert totally disturbed me! - Well, some parts of it. More perv-camera angles of shaking butts than face close-ups. I'm not sure, where this is going to end, but that's unnecessary, cheap and it's disgracing the girls. Tsunku should add more focus on music (good song writing!) than on lubricious outfits and degrading stripper choreography! - Man, that sucked. :cry:

Recently I did purchase both of W's two albums. I must say I fell in love with their music and voices form the few songs I heard prior ro the purchase. Now I really have a lot more favorites and hope to be able to purchase more in the future. (Hope Hope!)

If what/who you really like are Aibon and Nono together, and not just W, I'd recommend you search for their pre-W video clips on YouTube or Veoh or anywhere else.
Personally, I've always liked Aibon and Nono together (although I prefer Aibon), but I prefer their pre-W era (aka their Mini Moni era)...

On June 18, Kago Ai blogged about Tsuji Nozomi's birthday party, which she attended yesterday on the 17th.
The two were both 4th generation members of Morning Musume and were a part of sub-unit Minimoni as well. They also formed a duo called "W" together.
With a two-shot photo of her and Tsuji holding microphones, she wrote, "We sang and danced to the songs from our 'W' and 'Musume' times for the first time in 10 years!! Though we didn't even practice for it, we were still us!! We aren't twins, but it was as if we were."
She continued, "I will continue to be her partner forever, and for me too, Non (Tsuji) is my precious friend. I want to keep growing old together with her!"
Kago ended the blog post with a photo of her kissing Tsuji saying, "Of course, Aibon loves Non too (*^^*)!!!"

I'm assuming that the legendary third W album which was canned after Aibon's Fridaying, has never and probably will never see the light of day. I wonder if it still exists deep in the UFA archives... and whether there is any chance it could ever be released as a nostalgia item? Knowing Japanese protocols, I guess not. But I for one would buy it in a heartbeat.
I still listen to my two W albums quite often. And watch the stuff I have from them. Not ashamed to admit it. W forever!
