See, it's like this, ... every japanese girl goes through this experimental hair lightening thing at some point ... for decades ... ever since our two cultures meshed after the war. Whether they are gravure models (I'm from Honolulu and older than most of you probably ... in my time they were known as Heibon girls) or just regular girls ... Japanese or Island girls. Even Haole blondes try black and any kind of brunette tries blonde. ... but coloring is a big pain, damages the hair and is expensive. So girls always go back to what they were. Yay!
