See, it's like this, ... every japanese girl goes through this experimental hair lightening thing at some point ... for decades ... ever since our two cultures meshed after the war. Whether they are gravure models (I'm from Honolulu and older than most of you probably ... in my time they were known as Heibon girls) or just regular girls ... Japanese or Island girls. Even Haole blondes try black and any kind of brunette tries blonde. ... but coloring is a big pain, damages the hair and is expensive. So girls always go back to what they were. Yay!

Ai used that hair color often in photo events, but always went back to black in DVDs and photo shoots... maybe it was a deal with her new office, marbles was rumored to always be wanting her to lose some weight, so maybe she got a new deal of using this new hair color in exchange of loosing a few pounds... not to worry though, she was training for that half marathon thing, so we should hope she recovers soon...

And even with that new hair color, and the missing pounds, going by the image tv set, she is still knocking 'em out of the park... I though she was at her peak 3 years ago, but now there's no telling how far she might go...

^ in my honest opinion she's getting better as she gets older - before i would've only described her as 'cute' - and while she hasn't lost that cuteness, she's starting to become a very beautiful woman as well
