I think the title for the new show is "AKB1/48", which doesn't make sense at all if SKE48 is in focus?

Well, I think AKB48 isn´t only AKB, is SDN48, is SKE48 and is all the sub-units. Like Hello-Project, AKB48 englobe everything. Because this, in the last AKB48 concert we saw SKE48 and SDN48 performances.

Gakuen = 学園 = academy / campus.
Pretty much "same old, same old" or is it "if it ain't broke don't fix".
Shukan definately has the classroom theme, AKBINGO occasionally has "this week's subject is". Nemousu and AKB48+10 are challenge shows. While I don't think variety shows tend to break new ground regularly, the beauty about the format is that it is all about talent and boy do I want to see SKE go at it.

Definitely, I mean, the girls are largely responsible for making a program entertaining, and Team S is made of awesome. All the Team S members have threads now, so hopefully they'll pick up soon after this program has started.

Hopefully it has showtime for all members and not just Matsuix2 with some rinacchi and yuimin thrown in there :(

SKE48 to launch TV show

Idol group SKE48 will host their own television show, starting next month. The program, called "SKE48 Gakuen," will air on Sky PerfecTV! channel Ent! 371. "SKE48 Gakuen" will be a variety show with a school theme. Members from both Team S and Team KII will appear on the show, mainly playing students in various skits and segments. The show has been scheduled for Saturdays at noon, starting on October 3.

^I already made a couple of KII threads of who I think are the front girls.. or at least, the one that got pimped/pushed some way or another. One of them is a total Takamina lookalike imo :lol:

They already proved they're smart (except Kuumin :nervous) so they can focus on funny stuff :lol:

So, the first episode has aired!
I forgot this show is an hour in duration as well, just like ABK48+10. Excellent!
This show will definitely help them to get their names out there and gain fans.
It confirmed some of my opinions of the girls and it made me change some opinions too. The classroom is really boring and white, combined with the white uniforms it makes for a really bland setting. I hope there will be some cool activities later on. (i.e. ninja episode and stuff haha).
edit: I may have a surprise later today.. :P

i've seen a preview that's just a few mins long, no point in uploading really cuz it's just the first few mins of the show...so it's kinda annoying it cuts out.

Watched it and it is basically +10 with team S. Same graphics, style and even theme (they had a kind of analyze each girls self introduction, just like how Cindy did it years ago). Not saying that it was bad though, each member had more screen time than ever before. This format helped team B so why change it?

Episode 2 is up at the multimedia section, in case you haven't seen it already.
Shinkai keeps cracking me up. The only reason this program is an hour is so we can get used to her voice :nervous
Kuumin is hard to grasp. Like she's still trying to find her own character.
Rena and Shiitan owned this episode by their appeal time :heart:

I can already see the impact of the 2nd episode in this forum. Rena and Takada anyone?
However, Deguchi's mighty show was the highlight for me. It even led to Rena's new nickname; moyashi or bean sprout.

Blu is gonna LOVE this episode :) I loved it too, epic amounts of Shiitan exposure! :heart::wub: :heart::wub: :heart:

Shiitan is beyond awesome. I like how she always looks kinda angry :lol: Her hair is epic. Truly a top favorite!!!
Yuimin's voice is much more normal than when she first joined. Just acting childish is enough :P (i.e. she is 17 years old + 53 months haha).
Deguchi is also over 20?! I didn't know :shocked:.

Shinkai was sooo happy when so got that goody bag haha.

Finally got it! Took me forever to dl part 007! But it was worth it!
I totally agree with Shiitan's look. She has a stare that is half annoyed and half confused...
Also, as if it wasn't enough that she looked a lot like a certain Aerosmith member, Nakanishi gave us more to think about with a little cosplay.
The hair design challenge was amusing but the clincher for me was the main prize for the winner. No description from me, go get it!
Lastly, this might be Moe's last SKE tv appearance. Huh... goodbye cat girl....

Hey, how's the Kuumin time on this show? I've been wanting to check it out, but she's pretty much the only person I wanna see, so..

^Kuumin is featured a lot in Episode 1 and 2. She has her own segment where her and Shinkai test if the other girls really are good at their special skills. She isn't in ep 3 at all, but she will be in ep 4.

the latest episode was damn fun! so much Yuimin goodness. Haha she's such a goof! XD

Highlights for me were:
- Yuimin's fish drawing
- Yuimin, Sayu and Nakanishi in the toystore
- Dance lessons looked pretty sweet
- Rena and Sayu taking off :lol:
Yuimin saved the first 40 minutes, without her it would've been a tad boring maybe.
The diving part was too short and not that interesting. Kuumin saved it with her evil laugh XD

Personally, the Koiyaki parts left me in stitches.

- and her airhead moment of not knowing what fish it was at first XD
- Kuumin has been doing that "laughing so hard all of a sudden" technique lately. She really living up to her being the forever genki vitamin musume! :lol:

Highlights / random thoughts:
- Rena's pun. It's been a while since I saw her getting embarrassed.
- Deguchi is funnier than I thought.
- More Shiitan exposure!!
- Shinkai looks really pretty! Plus, she's always great fun.
- Yuimin's drawings are actually pretty good.
- Sayu calling Masana a slow old woman was funny to me.
- PING PONG! ...without a proper net haha.

btw how many episodes are in there on CDJapan they didn´t say anything about it??? They only have the running time of 174min. which would be about 3 episodes without the bonus material.

Just saw episode 7. BEST - EPISODE - EVER.
Especially the music/instrument section was great. They were having fun and Jurina playing akb's song on her recorder was sweet.
But, of course, the absolute best moment in SKE's entire history was... Shiitan rocking out with those guitars!!! OMG. I'll spam her thread full with some snapshots later, but man.. did she look great or what.

Yeah there are three episodes with it. Inside there's a leaflet that gives the future release schedule as well, there are going to be four DVD boxes (so I guess 12 episodes all up?). I think it's worth it personally, even without the special content. Whether you should buy it is up to you and how much you like Team S I guess :P

I especially recommend Ep 7 and 8! They play instruments, there's a music test and they cook some eggs :lol: It's a great episode because it shows that some of these girls have serious skills!

I loved it when Rikako played the Theme to "The little Mermaid" on keyboard :wub: Just awesome
And the omelette cooking part XD I really would like to taste Rena´s and the others too of course ^^ Masana´s looked very tasty to me
btw. there was no preview of the next episode (in the video I´ve seen) can´t wait for it.

^ Haha, if that video is used here the way I think it is, I think the people who actually miss her voice will probably be a minority.
We need a new chipmunk in SKE48. It just won't feel right otherwise. Maybe they could just give one of the current girls a few cans of helium and ease them into it. Drum lessons are optional.

Ep 15 has some nice outdoor locations. I like those eps better than the 'classroom' ones.
This ep had a lot of stuff; fishing, bungee and that obstacle course thing at the end.
Cool to see Kumi and Akarin jump, but this ep wasn't all that exciting for some reason :O2

Another hour of KII madness in SKE Gakuen 20!
These talk heavy episodes can make me lose attention sometimes. The 'specialty' and '30 seconds' segments are always nice.
Most importantly, Shawako is the MC of a new section XD The Tomoka x Akane skit was pretty funny.
