Watanabe Mayu 5th Single "Deai no Tsuzuki"

"Deai no Tsuzuki" 「出逢いの続き」 is the title song from her drama "Tatakau! Shoten Girl"

The c/w song will be "Onna no ko Nara"   「女の子なら」, the song from the Avail CMs. This will be track 2 on each CD.

There will be three more c/w songs, as track 3 on Types A/B/Regular. The book edition shares the same CD as Regular.

The CDs will also contain the instrumental versions

Limited Edition Type A - 1,600 yen

 - DVD contains the MV and MV making of.

Limited Edition Type B - 1,600 yen
 - CD + DVD
 - DVD contains the MV and "Tatakau! Shoten Girl" related bonus

Watanabe Mayu to release her first single in 2 years

Watanabe Mayu will release her first single in about 2 years, "Deai no Tsuzuki", on June 10.

As previously reported, "Deai no Tsuzuki" is the theme song for Watanabe's starring drama 'Tatakau! Shoten Girl'. The single will also include "Onna no Ko Nara", which was picked up as the tie-up song for fashion brand Avail's CM 'Avail 2014 Fall Winter Watanabe Mayu'.

The single will be released in 4 different versions: Limited Edition A, Limited Edition B, Complete Production Edition, and Regular Edition. The Complete Production Edition will come with a fashion book featuring pictures from her shoot with Avail. It will also come with a DVD consisting of behind-the-scene footage and a special music video for "Onna no Ko Nara". Additionally, the Limited Edition B DVD will contain footage related to drama 'Tatakau! Shoten Girl'.

Shortly after the single's release, Watanabe will hold her customary 'Solo LIVE' and 'Doki Doki Otanoshimikai'. The details of these two events will be based on fans requests via Twitter.

So Mayu had the FortuneMusic special livestream today on ustream. It was a really fun event where they decided the songs for her solo live and the events for the dokidoki events.

So they had the suggestions from twitter on a whiteboard and selected all the songs and events. They were also reading twitter live which led to a bit of interaction.

Nope, no details on that yet. I assume there will be event lottery tickets in the CDs to her single like there were in her previous ones. And then you have to apply online. That's just me guessing though as its what they've done before...

Watanabe Mayu reveals jacket covers for 'Deai no Tsuzuki'

Watanabe Mayu has revealed the jacket covers for her new single "Deai no Tsuzuki" that's scheduled to hit stores on June 10.

The theme of the jacket covers is "an encounter that happens among passing people". In the jacket covers, Watanabe encounters just one person among the crowd at an intersection in Shibuya and stares back at him.

The single will be released in 4 different types: Limited Edition A (CD+DVD), Limited Edition B (CD+DVD), Regular Edition (CD-Only), and Complete Production Edition (CD+DVD+Fashion Book). The jacket cover for the Complete Production Edition gives you a sneak peek of the fashion book.

As the Mayu-fan I am, I really want to preorder the CD/DVD through CDJapan, but there's something I really need to know, and I just can't find the answer on the CDJapan website: Once you have placed the preorder, do they take the payment at once or do they wait til the release date of the CD? It matters a lot for me, as I don't know if I have money on the release date.
