Personally, I'm a little worried, because 29th and 31 will be school days, which will prevent a large number of fans from attending.  I suspect that the turnout might even be weaker than Yuko's.  I hope that would not make UFA question TW hospitality
They may be school days, but... do we know what time their plane arrives? If it arrives early, it may have been planned that way to have the girls go through the airport with the less hassle possible. If, on the other hand, the plane arrives later in the evening, most of the students would have finished class and would be available for the welcome.

hey Reyfer, what days will you be in Japan?

I think that prices from anywhere to Japan vs anywhere to Taiwan via Japan is very similar

So, you can try doing a few days in Jp, couple of days in TW and rest of time in Japan on one ticket.  Traditionally, there are supposed to be 3day limits on that, but as a tour operator you might be able to get that waived...

Thing is, I'm traveling tomorrow, so from the moment I arrive in Tokyo to the 29th is 10 days. And also, I can't travel to Japan later because the main purpose is for business, and the japanese company I'm doing business with is paying 60% of the airfare. And my budget is limited. Thank God I found a room at the New Koyo (nobody in Tokyo can beat 2500 yen per night). But I'll try to go to Taiwan if my family can transfer me some money.

Oh Wow! Tomorrow?! I guess it's too late now, but have fun in Jp and let us know how you do there
Also, give us an impression of New Koyo, good for future reference.  You REALLY CANNOT beat 2500yen / night! :w00t:

Oh, I have stayed at the New Koyo two out of the three times I've been to Tokyo. It is what you can call a backpackers place, but it is really nice. And after all, you only need the room to sleep at night, you will be busy the rest of the time  ;)

so, what is your impression of security of your property there? One purpose of going would be shopping for collectibles and would have to store it there when you're out acquiring more.  Have you heard of theft problems? does it have strong locks, do they have non-smoking rooms that don't stink of nearby smoking rooms?

I've had no problems there. Unless they changed policies, common areas are smoke free, but you can smoke in your room (although last time they were encouraging people to smoke outside or at the balcony, but I was lucky that noone smoked while I was staying there. Maybe they are smoke free now, they were going to do that last time). It is a little noisy, but it is okay and the people working there are friendly and almost all speak english (on different levels). As for security, I never worried about my belongings there. In my experience, it is safe. Of course, as everywhere else, common sense applies.

For those of you that are interested (and are in Taiwan), the girls left about one hour ago on Air Nippon's flight 2103. They should be at Taipei at around 12:35 Taiwan time, that is in about three hours. The girls and crew booked the whole mid-section of the plane (good friends at Air Nippon's flight control :) :) ).

This is part of the Taiwan promotion

...I don't know whether this should motivate me next time they do an FC in Hawaii or make me realize that we'll never get an opportunity like that in America without a miracle ><

AW MAN, I'm still pissed that I'm not there
Lots of promo on tv (MTV Chinese) right now though, and just the other day they were promoting the handshaking event. It just adds to my angst, lol

There's an interview with them on MTV J & K Pop this week, or so the programme says. I'll be recording it down, hopefully.

Great pictures, I'm soooooo envious T__T
