Hello minna~
I'm having fun reading many fic in this forum and I thought the day for me to make my own fic has come. Hahaha I’m sorry if you find some grammar error within my fic. Please give me some respond after reading my fic. I will be very happy if you left any comment about this fic.

Love is not about age, it's about us
“Mayuyu nee-chan, mayuyu nee-chan~” A cute-looking little girl runs to the specific spot where a young girl named Mayuyu enjoyed her free time alone.
Not far from that little girl spot, A good looking girl who sits on the bench and was reading a manga, had familiar and known who is the owner of this voice and in the blink of eyes she closed her manga and look straightly to where the voice had come, “Nani Yuki-chan?”
Without wasting her time, Yuki handed a bucket of flower to her friend, “Here, I found these beautiful flower, I thought it’s really match with you, because you’re beautiful too” Explained the cute girl without forget to put her playful smile in her lovely face.
“Aaah, thank you Yuki-chaan. You know, I've always had this feeling, telling me that you are beautiful, more beautiful than me.” As the older girl took the flower from Yuki-chan's hand and placed her other hand softly against Yuki's cheek.
Mayu pov
I throws my glances into Yuki's gift and then without my will, my eyes has instantly lock its vision into specific living object which now being busy playing around on the sandbox. I like this flowers that Yuki gave to me, such a beautiful flowers. Well, here we are again, in the same place, same time like usual we've met. I like Yuki-chan, she is like young sister for me. Such adorable girl~
For the first time, we didn’t know each other. I just know she always stop here in the afternoon. I assume that she has already finished her daily routine in her school so she walked herself to this place. As for me, my house is not far from this park so I always walk alone to my house.
It was 6 days ago; I saw her playing alone in the sand box. At that time I have no interested with her, so I just continued my way to home. I only want to go home as soon as possible, thinking what anime I should watch when I’m home later, but suddenly she came to me and ask whether I have free time or not. I bet she’s around 8-10 years old and she waiting for someone to pick her back home. In the first time I would like to say no to her, but then I'm scrutinizing the park and when I realized that she’s alone without any friend or adult accompanying her, so I'm accepting her offer. As for me, I'm 13 years old.
So here we are now, even it was only 6 days, but I've known a lot of things regarding Yuki-chan. She is a new kid in this town, her name is Kashiwagi Yuki, she is 9 years old, even though she still a kid, her parent has divorced with good reason and now she with her mother. When I knew that her parents were separated, I don't know what should I do to her, I want to comfort her as much as I can. But Yuki is a strong kid, she didn't deny the fact that she's from a broken home family's background, but she accept all the fact that her parent cannot be together anymore. They moved about 2 weeks ago, her mom always pick her up in here and she has known about me.
On the first day I met her mother
“Yukiii.” A young woman who carried a handbag and one plastic bag contain with vegetables, a pack of meat and some seasonings, called her name.
“Aahh, Mamaaa.” Then she ran to her mother and right after she reached her mother, Yuki hugged her mother's waist.
“Let’s go home now.”
“Un.” She nodded. After she nodded, she looked at me with sad face telling us she didn’t want to leave me and her mother realized that. Then her soft eyes looking into me and asked my name.
“Well, thank you for accompany my daughter young girl, what is your name?” Asked Yuki’s mom to me.
“My name is Watanabe Mayu, Ma’am. Nice to meet you.” I bowed to her.
“I see, I’m happy Yuki has made one friend here, next time you should come to our place Mayu-chan.” Yuki’s mom smiled at me.
“That’s a great idea Mom!! Isn’t she beautiful? I like Mayu nee-chan a lot!!!” Yuki said with sparkling eyes to her mom.
“Ahahaa, I know you like her a lot honey. Okay we should hurry up, it’s getting late and I don’t want something bad happen to such beautiful girl like Mayu-chan, don’t you agree Yuki? Her mother really knows on how dealing with her daughter, after she said that Yuki start to worry and ask me to go home as fast as I could.
“See you next time Mayu-chan.” She grabs Yuki’s hand and ready to heading back home.
“See you again Mrs. Kashiwagi, and bye-bye Yuki-chaan~” I waived to Yuki.
“Bye-bye Mayu nee-chaan~” Yuki throws her energetic smile for the last time and then we heading back to our own destination place.

That was the first time I met her mother. Since the day I met Yuki, we were getting closer and closer.
“Nee, Mayu nee-chan, are you sleeping? Why are you so quiet?” She moves closer and throws her glances to my face.
“Gomen, I was thinking about something.” I replied her question.
“Eeeh, nani? Nanii? I want to know, please tell me why.” She tugged my sleeve with her curious finger.
“It was nothing Yuki-chan”
“Liar! You should not lie to me! After all, I know what are you thinking about.” She smirked.
“If you know about it already, why don’t you tell me about your prediction?” I replied her smirk and move my face a little closer to her.
“You’re thinking about the cute charm of these little girl and you’re not able to resist her charm~ Therefore you’re wondering if you should hug these girl or not!” As she pointed her finger to herself and act cute while her hand already open to receive a hug from me.
“Hmm, maybe you are right, but I still didn’t see those girl yet. Is there any cute girl near here?” After saying that I pretend not see her and searching the girl she has mentioned.
“Here Mayu-chan, in heereeee!” She hops on her place.
“Aahh, here you are~ You’re right Yuki-chan, she is cutee~” I smiled and softly cupped both of her cheeks.
“I’m always right Mayu-chan! And now, where is my hug??” She closed her eyes and wide her hand, ready to get some hug.
“I don’t think that she deserve for some hug Yuki-chan.” I touch my chin.
“Eeehhhh??!! Whyy?!!!” She’s shocking with my statement.
“You don’t like me anymore?” She asked me as her eyes start getting wet.
“I think she don’t deserve for only receive a hug.” After that I kiss her cheek softly.
“I think she deserve for a kiss as well~” Then I hug her tightly.
“Mayu-chann” Her eyes get wider because she just get a sudden shock by my kisses and hugs. When she could control her own mind again, she hugs me back and then she said.
“I like Mayu-chan a lootttt!!”

here's the second chapter, i hope you guys enjoy it
chapter 2
Present
It was a quite peaceful day, before the sound of alarm break the silence in the girly bed room. Soon as the alarm rang loudly, the girl who still sleepy shut the alarm off. It’s taking a few minutes before she really get up from her bed. After that, she yawning and stretch her hand up. She goes out from her blanket, leave her bedroom which has many picture in there, picture since she was a child until now. Then she was going to the bathroom, brush her teeth and wash her face and change her white shirt and her brown short pants to her senior high school uniform. After finish her morning-daily routine, she starts go down to the kitchen and see her mom already prepare breakfast for her.
“Ohayou, Yuki.” As her mom said to her and still working in the kitchen
She smile to her mother and smelled her mother delicious breakfast
“Ohayou mom, it smells good~” as Yuki hug her mom for a second and sit on the nearest bench.
“Haha, as far as I can remember it’s always smell like that Yuki.”
“Hmm, then I just miss your meal mom.” Yuki smile as she look to her meals
“Such a spoiled kid” her mom laugh to her statement
“Mom, how many times I should tell you, I’m not a kid anymore! I’m teenager now, why don’t you realize that!” say Yuki and then she pouted cutely.
Her mom lean back to the refrigerator and start to examine her Yuki for a while and after that she back to her unfinished cook.
“You still look like a kid for me dear, and why don’t you realize that.” Replied her mother using her word
“Whatever mom, it’s like I can win against you.” Yuki said that while rolling her eyes.
“You’ll not my dear, just remember it, don’t make a mess with these Kashiwagi Atsuko!” she say proudly
“As your wish mother.” She hug her mother and ready to do something,
But if I could remember it!!” after saying that, she run from the kitchen and go outside of house.
“Bye mom, love youu!”
“That girl” Atsuko sigh.

.
After Yuki left the house Atsuko want to clean Yuki’s room, she going into her daughter bedroom and start to clean the things. Then she looks around the room.
“She is growing up now.” As she looking the photo in Yuki’s room.
In Yuki’s room, there are many things like usually teenager girl have, beside of that there are plenty of photo in her daughter room, and also things which Yuki collect from her best friend, whether it is a present or just some good that they usually used to play together long time ago. Inside the room it’s about Yuki since she was moved into this house on the very first time. There are plenty of photo and the first photo she has see is her daughter going to the elementary school, and after that the little daughter play around in their new house. She giggled when she remember when she know Yuki very happy with her new house.
“She really soo cute when she was little, I still can easily carried her.”
She look to another picture, and in those photo, Yuki become more taller and she wear her junior high school uniform, in that time she hug a girl who is more older than her but looks so cute with her senior high school uniform. Both of them give their happy face and hug each other. The other photo is about Yuki in her first time she used senior high school uniform. The same school uniform like the previous photo which was wore with the girl who Yuki hugged before. In this picture she was alone, a simple smile was made but she was not look happy as in the previous picture. She look more mature than before but you can tell that she still like a kid inside but she force herself to not looks like a kid anymore.
The rest is photo with her first friend in this town. They look so cute together. In those photos Yuki always cling to Mayu. A photo while they played together in park, some photos for the first time Mayu was come to their place. Some photos in the summer when Yuki and her best friend ate water melon, and other photo catch a moment when Yuki and Mayu do a competition for fast ate the water melon, get their first yukata together and many photos that giving back some old memories.
“I miss these girl a lot, where is she now?” she thought
Meanwhile Yuki is in her way to her school, she put her earphone while walking. Now she is a second grade student in the senior high school. She goes to be a beautiful girl, many men fall for her, her junior and senior in her school respect her so much, they want to be close to her. She didn’t mind it but sometimes she gets tired with all respect from the other. It just the one she needed most is not on her side anymore. Sometimes she really regrets what was she done to her, but in other time, she thinks that it was a good movement. The thing is, she need to know what was the answer. It’s not like she will give up but she need a clear answer not like this.
It’s already 7 years from the very first time they know each other, and also it’s been 3 years that they didn’t see each other.
Within those 3 years, Yuki life seems like changed. People who know her since she was a child will know there is something happen to their Yuki. She still the same Yuki, but there is a missing part inside Yuki that people didn’t know what is it. Her friend always told Yuki, she could tell her problem to them or if she want to tell anything that can make her more relieved, she can rely to them but she just say thanks and give a fake smile to them. It always like that since they can remember and its about 3 years she act like other person.
Also her mother, who know everything about her daughter changed, cannot do something for her . Yuki always act like there is nothing and always act like she didn’t care about her lost friend. Her mom appreciates her, but she know that inside, Yuki really missed her.
People try to get used to the new Kashiwagi Yuki, same as herself. It’s not like she want to give up now, but without any information and any clue for what she search for, it really hopeless. Even its really a hopeless, but Yuki still searching information about her friend. She was searching her older friend everywhere. To the place which is possible to found her, any place they had gone together. But it always ended up she didn’t get any single clue.
“Why did you avoid me? Where are you now, Mayu?”
whats about that?? sorry if it goes to be boring. please give me a comment about that. feel free to give me a suggestion or criticism.
for the next chapter will be going to be a flashback.

Hello, finally I can make some update, last week I was busy with my application for exchange to Netherlands and I should submit it without any delay, I'm really looking forward for that~ :heart:
After this i will get my mid term test and then go to Singapore for watching AKB performance, still hope there are some senbatsu member :cathappy:
so i don't know when will i update these fic, i hope i can update soon as possible..

Chapter3
Flashback
Mayu was in the front gate of such a huge house, “I think it is her house.” As she look to the piece of paper, which in those paper, there are an address of Yuki-chan home.
Flashback on the flashback
Mayu sit on the swinging still wear her school uniform, she was waiting her friend because she has appointment with her.
“Moou, Yuki-chan latee~”
It already half hour and she still didn’t come to the park, Mayu feel something was wrong, because she never late. She always come on time and never late because after school was over she went straight to the park.
So Mayu search over Yuki around the park. When she stepped out the park, she saw there is an ice cream car and she look there is a bunch of children want to buy an ice cream.
“Ice cream huh? It’s none of my business.” She said coldly
Then she saw a little girl, still wearing her uniform and a cap, eating her vanilla ice cream like it’s the tasty food ever.
“Those girl looks kawaii. She looks like Yuki, ah, I better to search Yuki again.” Then she left that place. After several steps, processed what she saw before, suddenly she stop.
“Wait, she looks like Yuki, *look again to that girl* God, it is Yuki!” she face palmed herself
“Yuki-chann” as she call Yuki name. Then Mayu walk straight to her.
“Ahh, Mayu-chann” she waved her hand to me, still lick her ice cream
“I was looking for you! I thought you were getting lost.”
“I was on my way to the park but then I found this car and I want vanilla ice cream~ You should try it Mayu-chan” she said cheerfully
*sigh* ”no I’m still full, just lets go now ok.” After said it she grabbed Yuki’s hand and walk away from the ice cream car.
“But I thought you want some too.”
“No I don’t want it Yuki, why you think I want an ice?”
“Because…” before she can tell what she think, the ice cream seller walk to Mayu and say,
“Excuse me miss, your little sister still hasn’t paid the ice cream.’” He smile to Mayu
Mayu stare Yuki for a while, and folded her arms across her chest, want some explain from Yuki’s mouth.
“That’s why I think you should go buy some ice for yourself.” Yuki said to Mayu and smile innocently to her.
“It’s not what I want hear from you Yuki-chaan.” Mayu pinch her cheeks
“So the answer is she didn’t have any money in her pocket, that’s way she want me to buy an ice and she think I would paid her ice.” Mayu murmured and rolled her eyes.
“Ok I will pay your ice,” she look to Yuki, “and I want ice like she ate.” Mayu pointing to Yuki ice.
“Thank you miss.” After take the money he goes to the car and bring Mayu order.
“Yeyy, thank you Mayu-chann. Now let’s go to park” Yuki take Mayu’s hand and they sitting under the tree.
They eating their ice and talk randomly, about school stuff, food, and everything. While Yuki still talking, Mayu looks to the younger kid with lovely eyes. Yuki face full with ice, around her mouth and a little ice in the tip of her nose.
“She still talking with that weird face?” Mayu thought. It’s like Yuki will not stop talking so she interrupt Yuki because she really can’t stand with it.
“Umm, Yuki-chan, your face is full with ice, don’t you know that?”
“Hmm? Is it? I don’t know it.”
“Yeah, you look weird with it.”
“Then clean it, if you know it already why don’t you clean my face.” Yuki say with bossy tone.
“This little brat!!” Mayu said in her mind and make a fake smile.
“You will pay for all these things, soon.” Mayu start to plan something.
“Why you just silent Mayu-chan? Don’t you hear my order?”
“Alright, alright my little queen.” Mayu sigh and clean Yuki face.
Mayu take some tissue from her bag and start to clean Yuki face. First she clean ice around Yuki’s lips, but then Yuki bite her finger. She shocked because she’s not prepare with that,
“Yukiii, let go from my finger!!” Yuki just shaking her head give a sign she didn’t want to let it go.
“Aaarrgghhh! These kidd! Yuki let it go please” Mayu try to shake her hand to make it loose from Yuki, but it’s useless, in fact it make more hurt to her.
“Yukii, pleaseee.”
After Mayu begging to her, she let go Mayu’s hand.
“Thank you.” Mayu rub her finger
“There still some ice in my face, clean it Mayu nee-chan~” Yuki give an order again to Mayu.
“No, I don’t want it, just clean your face by yourself!” she still rub her hand, and give some tissue to Yuki. Didn’t want to repeat the incident.
“I want you to clean it, don’t give me back my order!” Yuki pouted
*sigh* “Ok, come closer Yuki-chan.”
Yuki getting closer to Mayu, after that Mayu want to take a revenge from what Yuki done to her. She clean up the tip of Yuki’s nose, when she was sure it was clean, then she pinch Yuki’s nose very hard.
“Aaaaaaaaarghhhhhh! Mayu-chan!! What are you doing!!” Yuki grabbed Mayu’s hand in order to let it go but Mayu’s hand is strong enough against Yuki.
“Pinching you.” She said calmly.
“FOR WHAT??!!”
“Because there’s still some ice in your nose, and that ice didn’t want to disappear, I just carry out your command, my little-cute-arrogant queen.” Mayu give her best smile and still pinch the little queen.
“Ok, it’s enough!! I still need my nose.” She turn to give another order Mayu.
“I don’t know, it just I didn’t hear some polite word from you, my little princess.” She teased Yuki, and move her face close to Yuki.
“MAYU-CHAN!! PLEASE, WITH ALL RESPECT, LET MY NOSE GOO!!” Now it’s her turn to begging, and Yuki start to crying now.
“Alright, geez, why you start crying?” Mayu let her hand go from Yuki nose.
“It’s hurt you know!”
“Yeah, I don’t know.” She smirk to Yuki.
“Hueeeeee!! Hiks hiiks.” Yuki crying hard.
“Stop crying Yuki-chan.” Said Mayu, but Yuki still crying.
“Here, let me heal you.” she cupped yuki's cheek, and kiss Yuki nose softly. Yuki stop her cry. It’s like her pain was disappear.
“See, it’s not hurt anymore.” She remove tear from Yuki face and give a short kiss in her cheek.
“Un, the pain was gone. Thank you Mayu-chaan.” She smile to Mayu

After Yuki feel better and she be able to smile and talk about random stuff again, Mayu lay down for a while under the shade of tree,
“Nee, Yuki-chan, can I go to your house next time?” she smile to Yuki
When Yuki heard it, she stop her talk then widened her eyes and sit on Mayu stomach, her hand was placed in Mayu arm, and the distance of her face and Mayu face just about some inch ( at that time, there is no people around the park, Mayu was lucky because there is no one who see her like this, if there are some people around them, people would easily misunderstand them. It’s like the pose of Yuki attacking Mayu :3 )
“Are you want to play in my house nee-chan ?” Yuki said excited
“Yeah, can I?” as Mayu looked to other way, break their eye contact
"Geez, Mayu, she just a kid, behave yourself!" she thought to herself.
“Yeeeeyyyy, Mayu-chan will play in my house!!!” Yuki stand up and said it loudly, she make a weird dance because she really happy now. It makes Mayu laughed because of her dance.
“Calm down Yuki-chan, your dance’s really awful. I just want to go to your house, that’s it.” She taking Yuki hand and place her hand around Yuki shoulder and make Yuki sit on her lap.
“Ok, I just feel happy, because you are the first person who will visit me. Usually people who come just want to visit mom, not me.” She really excited with Mayu plan
“I’m happy to be your first guest, I will visit you next week, is it ok?”
Yuki nodded to her
“Then you should tell your mom after you get home.”
“I will Mayu-chan, I cannot wait to see you next week” Yuki hug Mayu tightly
“Me too.” Mayu smiled and hug her back.

Chapter 3A
End of flashback.
The next week later, in the afternoon
Mayu are standing in the front gate of such a huge house, “I think it is her house.” As she take a look into a piece of paper, which in those paper, it’s stated an address of Yuki-chan home. Actually she had promised the little girl to go to her house one week ago, but she just remember her promise in the last night to be exact. Also because she want to go somewhere and thought every options she had then she recall her memory whether she had an appointment with someone or not. Then here she is, stood in front of anyone gate without knowing is it the right house she was searching or not.
Last night
It was same as always, a silent and dark small house, but if you look carefully, it looks cute with one window in the upstairs floor with warm-light blue painting around the wall. In the front door of that house, a girl which still in her school uniform carried all of her belonging, open the door. When she make her way to get Inside the house, and without turn on the light she stepped her leg to the nearly sofa to placed her stuff.
“I’m home” Mayu shout after she put down her jacket. There is no answer. She shouting again thinking that perhaps her parent did not heard her, but it still no answer for her. Seems like there is no other person except Mayu, she assume that because there is no sign that any body was in here after she back from her school. The sink still clean without interference from any dirty glass or dish.
“Aah, they still cannot get home again.” She thought and goes to the kitchen.
Mayu open the fridge and take a bottle of water and pour it in the glass while observe her kitchen. There is an old note which still at its same place, it stated that her parent cannot be home very soon because of their job. She didn’t mind with it, after all she get used with that. She was the only daughter in her family, and her parent maybe-sometimes forgot that they have a child. Or maybe they forgot that they already marriage. She really didn’t mind it. It’s been a long time no see her parent in that house. In the first time, she really miss her parent, she tried to call them or wait in the sofa to met them, but it useless. Her parent really that busy, even though they could come to home but it was only to take their belonging and other works stuff. So she never want to miss them again.
After she taking a gulp of her water, and she don’t want to eat anything, she goes up to her room. Consider whether she should take a bath or not, she just throwing her body to the bed. Actually she really bored right now, and thinking of tomorrow she will end up in home stuck doing nothing, Mayu then shout and rolling in her bed desperately.
“Aaaaarggh!!! What should I do ?” she change her position and then sit while thinking the option she have.
“Hmm, what about if I go buy some manga ? It’s not bad at all.” But she just didn’t satisfy with her idea. Then she searches another option.
“But I don’t have any money, mom and dad forget to give me some, perhaps robbing a bank is the best idea I had now?” she think seriously.
“Silly Mayu, even you want to robbed bank, you didn’t have any gun and mask to cover your face.” She sighed, and shaking her head. After that she laying back and rolled her body. (That’s not the point Mayu :depressed:)
“Mouu, is there any good plan for mee?!!” She shouted again.
“Perhaps I should go with some classmates, I rarely go out with them.”
Mayu take her phone and looked if there is a name that interested her, but it’s useless, she didn’t want to hanging out with her classmate. Even her friend ask her to hanging out with them, or sometimes some guy from other school ask her to go out with him she just leave them without say anything.
“Why this world had such a people like that? Man, it’s really annoying.” She just didn’t know the reason why people really annoying to her and act like that.
Well, it’s not their fault to fall in love with Mayu, or her class mate want to get closer to her. In fact Mayu is really cute, she just didn’t know that she IS really that cute. She act like anti-social girl because she just don’t get it why she should being nice to other people or smile to them. She thought many things, she just didn’t want to get involved with such a kind of relationship, again. Because she knows that built some relationship is not easy as it looks like. The easy example is her relationship with her parent, even how much she miss her parent, how much things she would give to make her relationship going like other happy family, in fact she cannot change anything. And then she gave up with it. She didn’t know how much tears come from her eyes when she open her house and she find nothing inside house, how much she try to contact her parent, but they didn’t give any attention to their little daughter. She just didn’t want to get the same pain that she get from everything she tried. So this is Watanabe Mayu people know.
After memorizing her past, then she looking to the calendar, there is a mark for tomorrow date. She tries to remember what kind of appointment she made lately. It just strange, because she not interested with anything but now she saw a little mark in her calendar, so Mayu thinking for a while then she remember what kind of appointment she have for tomorrow.
“Aah! I know, I’ve promised with Yuki-chan to visit her at that day.” She said it loud and pointing her finger to the calendar.
Even she didn’t want to get involved with anyone, but she cannot help herself to not being friendly with this little girl.
“Hmm, what should I bring to her house?” she thought
“But I didn’t have any money now, maybe I should really robbed a bank first.” She rise from her bed and ready to go to nearest bank. But then she thinking again.
“Or maybe, I should make something for her. Cake is a good option I think.”
After know what she should bring for tomorrow, then she starts to make a strawberry cheese cake, because she had strawberry from her garden and all ingredients from her kitchen. Few hours later, the cake is ready. And it’s looks delicious.
“Haha!! I did it! I thought it would be a mess! Good job Mayu!!” Her hands on the hips, with a loud laugh because she really proud with herself and her cake. After put the cake inside the refrigerator, she goes to her bed room and start to sleep.
Next day
After make herself sure that it’s the right house, she push the bell with her free hand, because the other hand still being used for carrying the cake. And then from inside of house, she can hear that someone is running to the front door and was about to open the door, but it was locked, then she shouted to her mother,
“Momm, the door is locked!! Hurry up, I think it’s Mayu nee-chan!!” she running back to somewhere else that Mayu don’t know to where it is.
“Hurry up moom! Or she will getting back her way home” Mayu felt that Yuki is pouted and jump inside the house then she just smile.
“I am still here Yuki-chan, don’t worry about me!” she put her one hand near to her mouth to make her voice louder and shouted from outside of the house hoping Yuki hear her.
“IT’S HER!! MOMM, IT’S HER!! DO YOU HEAR THAT!” Yuki-chan shouts in joyful voice, and then she running in the circle inside the house.
“Relax Yuki, it’s not like she will disappear or melt outside of house.” Acchan sighed because her child behavior. She really cannot stand with that.
In other side, Mayu who can heard that, get some idea for Yuki.
“But what if that would be possible?” Yuki said to her mom.
“I’m in my way for being melted Yuki-chan!!” Mayu teased the small kid
“NOOOO!! Mom, do something!!” Yuki shouted, her voice clearly enough to tell the other that she in the state of emergency because she worried about Mayu condition. Her mom then insert the key and turned the key. The door suddenly open, and then Yuki run outside the house and searching Mayu.
“Mayu-chan, where are you??”
After she asked Mayu but there is no respond at all, then she realizes there is puddle of water.
Yuki really shock with it and then start crying, “Momm, I killed herr!”
She crying really hard and not realized that her mother was going into the house and start talking with someone.
“Good afternoon Mayu-chan” she smiled to the cyborg girl.
“Good afternoon, Mrs. Kashiwagi.” Mayu bowed to her
Yuki in other hand, just speechless and stood in her place.
“Why do you still remain outside of house Yuki-chan?” Mayu smirk to the young kid. Yuki, with teary eyes look to Mayu.
“MAYU NEE-CHAN!!!! You are still alive!!” she run to Mayu and hug her tight
“Of course I’m still alive, you silly” Mayu just laughed because of Yuki innocent respond.
“But I thought I was killed you!” Without release her hug she look to Mayu eyes.
“Why on earth I can be dead just because you didn’t open the door?” Mayu laugh so hard because she couldn’t stand to see Yuki face and it’s really priceless.
Realized she was being fooled by Mayu then she breaks their hug and still with her teary eyes looked to Mayu eyes.
“So you just were making fun of me?”
“Kind of, because you take soo long just for open the door.” She pull out her tongue to Yuki face.
“I HATE YOUU!! HATE YOU HATE YOU HATE YOUU!!!” she hit the older girl body in every part she could reach, and then ready to leave the room but suddenly,
“I bring some cakee~”she say cheerfully and keep staring Yuki
Yuki stop her feet, but she didn’t going back to Mayu.
“Am I getting too far for teased her?” Mayu thought to herself. “Maybe I should apologies to her.”
“Yuki-chan, I…..” before she could finish her word Yuki shouted to her.
“CAKE!!!!! I LOVE MAYU-CHAN!!” she going to take the cake and after that she kiss Mayu on the lips.
Cuuppp!! “Thanks Mayu-chan, we should eat the cake now.” Yuki said innocent to Mayu and bring the cake to her mom, while Mayu, she just stood in her place and still process what was going on.
“She kissed me. She kissed me. She kissed me. ON MY LIPS!! GOD! My first kiss!! Aaaaahhh!!” Mayu didn’t know is she like the kiss or not. She just sighed and want to forget about it. But she can’t!! so she tried to find some excuse for that recent kiss.
“After all, she just a kid. Yeah, just a little kid .” She thought.
“Mayu-chann, why you still standing there, come on!” Yuki said from the living room.
“O-ok, I’m on my way.” She goes to living room with a light blush on her cheek.

sorry if it's turn to be boring, but personally i want to show a little bit of the current Yuki. Enjoyyy~
Chapter 4
8:19am .There is no other student around the hall and also corridor, I predict that class already started, I grasp my bag and slung it on my shoulder and walk myself to the second floor without speed up my step because it always like that, it’s become my habit to come late. As I reach my class, the teacher is already going to check the attendance list, thinking that my name already been called, I sighed and as I ready to see people inside of the room, I grab the handle then open the door. There, the male teacher who in the previous still focus with the attendance list, deflect his head to me.
“Kashiwagi-san, you’re late again, why you always being late in my subject?” the teacher ask me with annoying face. I just look at his face sharply without breaking the eyes contact which we already made before.
“It‘s just not in your subject sir, she always being late in the first class subject.” Other girl tried to explain to the teacher. He listen to the explanation which given by his student then asked another question to me.
“If it says so, then why you always do that? In fact your house is not far from here.”
“…..” I just silent and didn’t pay any attention to him, I just turning my head to other direction.
*sigh* “alright, just go to your seat now, I don’t wanna ruin our class.”
I go to my chair and then take a seat. The class is about to start with new material, and I’m not in the mood to study in the first place. I examine the whole class, there are some student who talk with her friend, some other girl study seriously and take a note when she thing that it’s an important word, a girl who sit near to the window and fall asleep during the class, and then I look to the cute looking girl who sitting in the middle of the sleeping girl and me, she give her full attention to what the teacher said and ask some question when she was not sure about it.
“What a diligent student.” I said to myself
Actually, do not want to praise myself, I am a smart girl, I admit it. But this time I just want to skip the class and do nothing. While I still looking at her, she realize someone keep scrutinize her, after that she moved her head, tucking her straight long hair behind her ear and look at me.
“Hmm, what’s wrong Yuki? Is there anything you want to ask me?” the diligent girl asked me while giving her sweet smile to me.
“Nothing, I just daydreaming now, feel so sleepy.” I said in a grumble tone and rested my head on my palm.
She smile to me, “why don’t you wash your face now? Maybe it can make you fresh again.”
“No, I don’t want it, thanks for your advice Rena.” I smile back to her. After hearing my decision, she smiled at me then back to her work again. It seems like she want to keep focus to the today’s material course.
“What a day! I’m so bored now.” I stretch my hand and look outside the window.
At that time, Yuki give her attention to the nearest window and it revealing a pale sky without any cloud.
“Aaaah, even sky this day looks so tedious.” I sigh for my pity life in here.
When Yuki turning back to look outside the window, she commences daydreaming again without giving any attention to the class anymore. Right in the same time, in other place far from Yuki’s place, in the one room with navy blue colored on every inch of the wall, which gives a bright and calm aura for the room itself, one girl who still lay on her bed and with her eyes closed, dreaming the same things like Yuki thought right now.
Flashback
In the middle of summer day, a girl rolled in her bed. The school was over yesterday and now Mayu has to face her holiday session, alone. There are so many homework and also assignment pile up on her desk that her teacher gives it to all of the student in her class, without giving any single glace to those task, she sigh and thinking that she can handle it later. Lately her parent has a job that should be done, so they always come late. As she starts thinking what she should do now, her stomach made a weird voice.
“geeez, I forgot to eat.” She leaves her bedroom and walked to the kitchen. As she opened the fridge, it’s almost empty, just a bottle of water and nothing left. Drinking water cannot solve her problem this time, it just made her groan because of the starving she felt right now.
“I should buy something, maybe I should go to some café now, after that I could make a choice later.” After decide what she want to do and it sound not bad, she run to her bedroom to change her clothes to a light-pink-short pants and sleeveless shirt with white and soft pink line colored her shirt, then grab her small-cute bag and relies it on her shoulder, now she ready to get her food. After lock on the door, she went to the bus stop to take a bus. She was bored in home alone so she decided to walk around in the destination place after she eat her food.
Meanwhile in other house….
Yuki sit in front of the television and watch some cartoon while Acchan just finished her laundry and goes to the living room. Her hair’s still in the ponytail style and she wearing some short pants and camisole shirt. When she arrived she looked down to her daughter who still watched the cartoon with gleamy eyes.
“Mom lets go to the shopping center, I want to eat watermelon~” Yuki said to her mother. As she saw the advertising in the tv and pointing her small-index finger to the figure inside of tv. It shows a big watermelon with fresh background.
“It’s too hot outside house Yuki.. Why don’t we just stay inside?” Acchan replied lazily, after answering Yuki’s question she placed her body on the floor and then rolling lazily beside Yuki.
“But I want to eat those green-red-circle thing mom” she pouted and cross her hand.
“That green-red-circle thing you want to eat now will be ended up stay in the fridge and you’ll just leave it without eating it.” Atsuko said and rolled her eyes as she remember the last week she bought watermelon, Yuki just leave it and didn’t want to eat that.
“But the color is soo funny, I want to keep it.”
“See, you are not going to eat it, just give it up kid.” After saying that, she continued speak to her little daughter in the wise way, “Some day when you getting more mature and older you can get it as much as you want. But for now, just forget it kiddo.” Acchan tried to provoking Yuki
“Naahhh, it’s too long.. I promise I will eat it when we getting back home, pweaseee?” Yuki tries her best to win her mother’s heart by using her best weapon, ‘teary eyes’.
“Aaah, God! This is it, she and her faking tears. I wonder who teach this kind of stuff to her, it’s a very bad influence you know!!” Then she start to think and realize, “Baka, it’s me. Good job acchan, me and my fake tears, how can I forget this.” Acchan mentally face palmed herself.
*sigh* “ok, I give you second chance then, but remember, if you didn’t fulfill your promise I will not give you time to meet Mayu-chan for whole week.”
“Aaahh, why you soo evil!! I want to eat that thing and also want to meet Mayu-chan, NOW!!”
“Why she changed the subject to Mayu?” Atsuko raised her eyebrows.
“Umm, Yukii”
“Yes mommy~” Yuki gives her puppy smile
“But just before that you want to eat watermelon, right?” Acchan ask her daughter.
“Un!!” Yuki gave her a big nodded.
“Then what’s going on with Mayu-chan? Are you also wanted to eat her in the middle of watermelon?” Acchan laughed hard when think about it.
“Eeeehhh, could I???” Now her face indicates that she excited and also shock in the same time.
“Yeahh, there’s also a possibility my daughter.” Acchan tried her best to not laughing at that part
“Reallyy O_O?? Is she become our dessert today?? Is it possible to eat her when I still eat my watermelon? What if I couldn’t finish eat her? Can we keep her for the next day meals??” Yuki start to attacking Acchan with all of question that popping constantly on her mind.
“Wow woooww, ease girl~
“It’s not like you could eat her, literally. You will discover it later when you start to growing up. Until then, just forget what I’ve said ok.” Acchan’s cheek turning slight-pink and leave Yuki alone in the living room.
Braaaaaaakkkkkkk!!!!!!
Everyone inside the room suddenly move their head directly to where all the noise comes from. Surprisingly it comes from our dearest princess, Kashiwagi Yuki who now were sitting on the floor and her chair were lay down because of her unintentionally reaction. Rena who still agape because of her friend’s stupidity didn’t know what on earth this kasiwagi has thinking of. Everyone include the teacher thought this is the new trick of Kashiwagi to make their teacher getting angry to her.
When all of them thinking the same way, Yuki, with her own thought, just blushing and had a light nosebleed comes from her nose. Still sitting on the floor and with a shock expression like her eyes got widened and jaw drops at the same time, she thought to herself,
“Ooh my God!! So this is what mom talking about!! What a fool!! Baka Yuki baka Yuki!!!”
After talking to herself inside of her head, then, without her permission her brain starts to thinking of Yuki doing “some stuff” with the girl she was searching all the time, Mayu, which may lead into “eating activity” that her mom told her before. From nowhere she could hear Mayu moan and her seductive voice calling her name and also she could felt Mayu soft skin grabbing on her own skin. Thinking about that stuff makes the blood flow more swiftly from her nose.
“Sensei, Yuki start bleeding again!!” some of student shouted to the teacher in a tone which implies that he was panic, the rest need a command to what they should do with her. When everyone still confused with Yuki current state, Rena getting back again to earth and goes to Yuki. *welcome back renaaa*
“Sensei, could I bring her to the infirmary? It seems like she didn’t look well.” Rena raised her hand while crouched beside Yuki with her left hand holds Yuki’s shoulder.
“O-ok.” He still confuse with this sudden interference.
“Do you need any help?” random guy asked Rena.
“No, I’ll lead her by myself.”
After that she guides Yuki to the infirmary, when they arrived, there is no one inside the room, so Rena just placed Yuki to sit on the bed while she closed the door and take some cotton and a bowl of water to clean Yuki’s face. Yuki, in other side, still with her blank face and do nothing. After take what she needed, she sit on the wheeled chair in order to obtain good position and start to clean the blood.
“Yuki.. Yuki, daijoubu desu ka?”Rena tried to ask Yuki but she just keeps silent and motionless.
*sigh* “it useless.”
Yuki who still concentrate with her own thought didn’t recognize that she has moved from her class to another place, she back to daydreaming again and continue what she has thought before.
“Mom, come on, rise and shine. We should go nooww!!” Yuki tried to make her mom moved from her current place.
“Yadaa~ like I said before, it’s too hot outside..” Acchan closed her eyes and pouted cutely.
“But mooomm, what if Mayu-chan will come here now?”
“just why on earth she would go to our house now Yuki??” Acchan said lazily.
“Maybe she wants to see me?” Answer Yuki innocently.
“Mehh, I believe the answer is not.”
“Nooo!! She wants to meet meee! And I could sense it!!”
“Be honest Yuki, it’s only you who want to meet her.” Acchan try to teased Yuki
“Eeehh, is it too obvious??” Yuki widened her eyes and her mouth wide open.
“Ok, whatever Yuki, I’m not in the mood to talk it now.” Then acchan move the fan near to her.
Ting toongg~ suddenly the bell rang.
“What the??!” Acchan raise her eyebrows. She not prepares herself for having a guest. When she was about go to the entrance, Yuki goes to kitchen and sing a song and jump up and down.
“ :note: Mayu-chan is coming, it’s because she really misses me, ooh she cannot live without mee, thanks God for giving her a sweet pressure. :note:” She repeats it again until she arrives on the kitchen and makes a preparation for her beloved friend.
While on other side, Acchan just gawk and look to her daughter with “are-you-serious?” face. How come she knows the person who stands next to the door is Mayu and moreover, what the heck with that song?! “Nanana, it just my imagination, forget it Acchan, just forgett.” But after she tried to not give any attention to her daughter, she starts to sing again.
“ :note: Mayu-chan really loves me, she could not face her day before saw me, hug me. Oooh thanks God for creating mee. :note: ” After that she jumping like a ballerina and spinning around for a moment then making a pose like she praise the God.
Acchan the one who saw the entire scene since it started, tried to not believe what she saw and heard before. “She’s your daughter, she’s your daughter.. God!! She’s soo odd!” After inhale for a couple sec, and make her sure that she ready to face her guest, then she goes to the front door and open it.
“Aah, good afternoon Kashiwagi-san, I was walked for a while and then before I realized I found myself on your front door.” Acchan found a petite girl with a bright smile in front of her door.
“Good afternoon Mayu-” Before she could finish her sentence, from inside someone has interrupt her conversation with Mayu.
“Mayu-chaan, come inside. I’m waiting youu.”
Mayu smile after heard those sweet voice and Acchan just sighed. “Come in Mayu-chan, Yuki waits you since morning. Are you making some appointment with her?” She asked Mayu with quizzical face.
“No, I just come without appointment” Mayu give another smile to Yuki’s mother. After that, both of them walk straight to living room, but before they could reach they destination, suddenly Yuki dashed toward Mayu and both of them fall into the ground.
“Mayu-chaann, I’m glad that you came!” still hugged her precious friend.
“I’m glad to see you like usual, so delighted and spirited.” She poke Yuki nose lightly.
“Ok, time is up kid, just gimme a break please.” Acchan grab Yuki’s collar and moving her from Mayu. Yuki face like a sad puppy and Mayu had a little sad posted on her face. After that all of them sitting encircle the table. Yuki sat beside of Mayu who start drinking her ice tea and Acchan sat across them doing nothing, seeing the moment her daughter clinging on Mayu. Then suddenly Yuki blurt out what she heard before from her mother.
“Mayu-chan, could I eat you now?”
“bruuuuuuuuussshhhhh!!”
A part of ice tea spurt out and landed on Acchan’s face.
“ohok ohokk! Yuki-chan, what was that?” Mayu turn her head to look into Yuki now, still wearing her fake smile to covering her panic.
“Like I said before, can I eat you? I want to taste you. You are so tempting you know.”
Present
Blood flow swiftly from Yuki’s nose, again. In this time, it’s more than the previous one.
“AAAAAAHH, Yukii!! Your blood!!! It’s started to flow again! Rena with a panic faces looking to the blood. After a few moments, it’s already over. Then she tried to cleaning Yuki’s face again.
“Geez, Yuki, what’s on your mind lately huh? I wondered what you had been thinking for all this day.” She takes another fresh and new bowl of water and now she standing in front of Yuki.
Yuki still busy with her own thought and didn’t realize that Rena was too close with her. Her eyes keep staring on Yuki’s face to look whether there’s still smudge or not. As she sure that there is no longer stain there, she said to Yuki with smile covering her lips.
“Ok, it’s done now Yu-” she lifted her head and when she realized her eyes were aligned with Yuki’s eyes who now stare blankly, Rena could felt her cheeks flushed and she could tell herself now Yuki eyes look into her eyes and not breaking their eye contact. Yuki face is unpredictable, but just gazed into Rena’s eyes deeply. She looks like a porcelain china doll and it makes her more beautiful.
“Yuki…” Following with it she move closer step by step to Yuki. She placed both of her hand on the bed between Yuki’s waists, and closed her eyes slowly. It’s only a few inch until they lips unite, until Rena could taste Yuki lips for real, then
“Rena?”

Actually I didn't make any schedule to post an update now because 2 weeks from now I've my final exam, internship and many other things I should prepare for. Also the other reason I did not post any update because my laptop is kinda broken. *my laptop become useless on this noteworthy week :sweatdrop:
So forgive me if it's turn to be short, because I didn't want all of you waiting too long.
And to those who predict Jurina would appear on this Chapter, I'm sorry to say that she's not come up, for now.
also, i hope all of you can wait for the appearance of Mayu.
because I make it short, so it still the part of chapter 4. Dozoo~
Chapter4 part 1
“Rena?”
Without looking from where the voice were coming, she was frozen at her current place and observing what was happen now. She, standing not more than a few inches from Yuki lips, and also her hand was placed right on the bed to hold her weight. Other people could misunderstand after saw her because her position was like wanted to attack Yuki. After realizing what she had done on this several second, she just blushed and suddenly moves from her position.
“What was that?” the reality hit her. “Why I want to kiss her?” now Rena in the state of panicked because of her sudden reaction towards her friend.
While Yuki on other side, back to earth and her blank gaze has change to her normally gaze. She looks to her new surrounding and with quizzical face she looks to Rena who still blushing like mad.
“Rena? What’s wrong? Why are you blushing so hard?” she asked Rena
“N-no, I’m not b-blushing” Rena shuttered.
“Eeh? Are you ok Rena? Is there anything I can do for you?” Now, it’s Yuki turn to worry her friend.
‘If you insist, then kiss me’ she thought to herself. Then she stared to blushing again.
“Rena? Halloo, are you there?” Yuki wave her hand in front of Rena’s face. After that she pulls her face more closely to Rena.
“A-ah yes, mouu Yuki stop doing that!” her cheeks turn to be red again and this time she felt dizzy because of this irregular feeling. She pushes Yuki face to move, and it causes her hand landed on Yuki cheek.
“My-my, this princess sure knows how to win people heart, such a cold princess.” Yuki teased her and she could felt that Rena could faint on any time because of her action. She just grinned and looking to Rena with playful gaze. On one side, she could do this for whole day if she wants. But on other side, Rena is really want to go back to her class and hide her blushing face from Yuki because she knows that Yuki will not stop teasing her cause of her action before. But wait. Does Yuki know that she want to kiss her before? Thinking of that makes her nerves controlling her brain.
“Emm Yuki, since when you regained consciousness?” Rena asked her fiend without seeing her eyes. She just looks down her finger.
“Dunno, perhaps when someone called your name.”
‘My name?’ then she remembers for long time that there is a person who called her name before she could kiss Yuki. There, without her notice, the door revealing a tall-handsome boy with curious face stated on his face. It seems like he still stayed on his position from the first time he called her name. While Rena turn her head to the door. Yuki moved her gaze from Rena to the handsome boy.
"Ah, so it's really you Rena. i thought i was wrong. and with whom are you now? mind to introduce me to her?" He laughing cheerfully.
“Sae.” Yuki is looking to the owner of the name and widened her eyes. The boy named Sae just shock when he realize who is the owner of the voice. after saw Yuki, he smiled in relieved because he could see her again.
“Yuki, glad to see you agai-” Before he could finish his word, Yuki cut it off.
“Do not ever dare to try talking again with me. DON’T.” on the last part, she say it with all anger she had. Her facial become serious and there are black aura surround her. Sae’s smile was faded because of that, and he didn’t know what to do now. What he wants to do now is walking near to Yuki place and tries to win her heart but before he could do that, Yuki say another word.
“DARE TO COME CLOSER, AND YOU’LL DIE.” Now the atmosphere on the room turn to be heavy and no one dare to move from her current position. Sae gulped for one second and then he give up. After gave his sad smile to Yuki, then he closed the door and walk away. Yuki, still with anger consumes her, clenched her fist and her eyes look darker than usual. Rena has pay attention for her unusual attitude, try to calm her friend.
“Yuki, forget it, everything has passed. You cannot blame him for what was happening before.” After saying that, she patted Yuki’s head and gives her smile to Yuki.
“How can I forget about it Rena?!!” This reaction is different from what she expected.
“After what he had done to me, you want me to forgive him?” she directing her eyes to Rena with her disbelief gaze.
“I’m not saying you should forgive him, just tried to face the truth Yuki, everything has changed, and you can’t blame him for this whole time.”
“Yeah, true. Everything already changed, people changed, but IF at that time he never do that, I’m not going to lose her!” Finally Yuki yelled to Rena.
“You also bear the same burden! It’s also your fault for making Mayu leave you!” Right after she shouting that forbidden words, Rena shut her mouth and widened her eyes. Yuki, whose shock from her friend statement, cannot do anything unless crying.
“I-I’m sorry Yuki, I didn’t intentionally said that.” Rena tried her best to make Yuki calm, but it’s already late, because Yuki got off from the bed and ran towards the exit door. Rena really want to chase her but she think she should leave her alone for now.
“yuki..”

A lot happened in their past and the immediate darkness was unexpected this early

It was same as always, a silent and dark small house, but if you look carefully, it looks cute with one window in the upstairs floor with warm-light blue painting around the wall. In the front door of that house, a girl which still in her school uniform carried all of her belonging, open the door. When she make her way to get Inside the house, and without turn on the light she stepped her leg to the nearly sofa to placed her stuff.
When Yuki turning back to look outside the window, she commences daydreaming again without giving any attention to the class anymore. Right in the same time, in other place far from Yuki’s place, in the one room with navy blue colored on every inch of the wall, which gives a bright and calm aura for the room itself, one girl who still lay on her bed and with her eyes closed, dreaming the same things like Yuki thought right now.

Chapter 4-2
I ran as fast as I could, no matter where my feet taking me in this path, I could only remember that I’m running from infirmary, from my school, from everything. I didn’t want to remember Rena’s last word to me. I didn’t want to remember anything. But this memory start consumes my brain, and also my heart. My lungs runs out of air, my feet cannot take my selfishness any longer, and then it begins to stop. I tried to adjust my breath and placed my left hand on my knee and the other on my chest. It was extremely hurt me, not the adrenaline rush that I feel awhile ago, but the real fact that everything is real and it tried to push me down again and again, it makes my old scar on my heart start to bleeding and hurting me again. My legs are trembling, my eyes are wet then tears begin to fall down to my cheek.
I tried to look around, realizing that I’ve already reach the park where I and Mayu always played together since we were child , and where I met her for the first time of my life. I never thought if my feet would bring me to this place on its own will. This place used to be our place to meet and accompany each other. The day when I could take her hand whenever I want, when I allow her to spoil me as much as she wanted. But I felt a little betrayed by my own feet because It brings me to the last place I would go for.
Like I had no other option, I walked myself to the park slowly. There is nothing change, it’s always the same like I could remember. As I walked, I passed my favorite sandbox, a little garden which if I’m not mistaken, I used to pick some flower from this garden and give it to Mayu. I remember at that day, she really liked my gift, and I swear to the God, from that time, I want to see her enchanting smile every day. Then I go to a special place where we always stop there and it’s become our routines if we were on the park. I walked myself to the left edge of the park, where there is a huge tree stayed on its place from time to time, sitting silently on little hill of this park. When I arrived, I placed my hand on the tree and touch it with my finger, and then I close my eyes to feel it. When I close my eyes, I could sense that the sweet-old memories tried to comes in burst and before I know it, I already widened my eyes abruptly.
The surge of old memories really hit me hard and I cannot stand with it anymore. Slowly my feet cannot hold the weight of the upper body and my nerves told me to lean back to the tree. Then, it comes, the anxieties of my heart take control of every part of my body and I cannot stop it anymore. My tears swiftly rolling down to my cheeks , and heavy feeling on my chest makes me difficult to catch a breath.
“Mayu.. Where are you now?” I tried to call her name, but it turn to be a little whisper.
There is a little hope and prayer within my whisper hopes that she will suddenly, appear from nowhere and comfort me. Telling me that all of these event in this recent years are just a dream. Then she will stay beside me and will not go anywhere again. Just, stay.
I don’t know what time is it now, I just didn’t care. I don’t care anymore with everything. I just want this hard feeling to disappear. What I know is, it seems like I’ve stayed under the tree for more than one hour, and now, its evening already. I’m not moving, I freeze and do nothing. I just tried to think. Perhaps make a positive thought. What if the effort I do now is still not enough to find Mayu. I have searched her in different place I could assume she would appear.
Even I tried her house, but it seems she’s already moving out from this town. At that time feel hopeless. But this feeling, my love for her, still didn’t change in the first place. I still want her by my side, i need her. Perhaps I forget a little thing, even though it’ll hurt, I won’t give up to take her back to my side. Even we still start from nothing, but I’m sure that she will ended up with me and same as me.
Then, some wild idea comes to my mind. What if she cannot meet me, not because she wants to, maybe her situation not allows her to come and see me here. Well it just a speculation, but there is sure a possibility that my speculation is right. What should I do now? If my effort is still not enough to meet her, then what kind action I should take now?
Meanwhile, at school, Rena still waiting for Yuki to come back again and let her explain her previous talks to Yuki. She knew that it was mean and she did not really meant to say that words. Now she’s walking to the window and hopes for either a sign of Yuki’s presence or her lovely voice. She know that it wasn’t Yuki who should take the burden, even thought Yuki always thinking that it was her fault to make Mayu leave, and never come back again. But the truth is, everyone has a same burden on this case.
Tired of waiting Yuki and feeling bored, She starts to think another stuff. Why her heart feels different with her precious friend, when her face was few inches from Yuki, why this kind of feeling appear? She walks directly to one of the nearest window from her place, and then closed her eyes. When the previous moment came back to her mind again, her heart was beating faster than usual.
“How come? I never felt like this before. Why I cannot stop thinking about that?” she thought.
Then she touched the tip of her nose softly,
“I still remember when our noses were touching each other” then she blushing hard.
“Aaahhhhh!! Stop thinking about that Rena!! You knew that she would never, ever and ever choose you.” She shakes her head while she speaks her mind loudly. Her face look sad and down because she know the fact that Yuki still love Mayu and the chance of winning Yuki’s heart in this current time is close to zero percent. But then, like a Godzilla jumping from radius over 9999 kilometers from earth and hit her back inside an ice cream container, she immediately looking so shocked.
“What the hell! Why I’m thinking about that stuff?? Am I in love with Yuki?!!! Am I ???”
“HELL NO!! I CANNOT LOVE HER !!She used to be like my sister!!” she trying to push out the possible thought that she would love Yuki not in the sister zone, yet more than that. however she’s on the zone of ambiguity, where she could not think properly what was her heart trying to say.
“Haahh, what a day. It’s really complicated.” She sighing then give up for waiting Yuki come back from nowhere. When she was about to open the door, then Yuki come back.
“Yukii….” Rena giving her shock faces and widened her eyes.
“There is something I would like to discuss with you.” Yuki gives her serious face.
*sound of receiving text*
How is your condition now? Are you feeling much better? I miss you.

Hey, I’m fine, doctor said I just need more time to rest, I miss you too. Why are you not visiting me? Next time, please come. :(

I sat down under the tree shade like usual, regain my energy after playing with my lovely friend. Exhausting, I brought a can of soda from the nearest vending machine. When I take one or two gulp from my soda, on the corner of my eyes, I could saw her face looking so cute while thinking about something. Then like she knows what to do, she starts walking fast directly to me. Well, on my word is, running sooo fast.
“Nee, Mayuyu!!” She shouts it loud and like she had no rem or didn’t know well how to control her feet, she hit my stomach with her head hardly.
“Ouch!! Ittai dayo!!” I grab my stomach and pushing her aside me. Wait a minute, what she called me previously?
“Mayuyu?” With confusing face, I’m repeating again her word.
“Yup, Mayuyu, isn’t it sound cute? She asked me with that gleamy eyes looking with nothing than a hopes to me.
“Etoo,I prefer if you call me Mayu.” I tried my best to reject her new nickname for me. I appreciate her effort, but receive a nickname from other people means that we are close to each other right? As for us, we were closed since I could remember, but why so sudden?
“Hee, why?? I thought it was a cute one.” She gives a simple pouted. But suddenly, like her head were hitting by a huge rock, she looking to me with her deathly glare. “Don’t tell me, someone already called you Mayuyu? It’s minee!!”
“Yeah it’s sure a cute one. And noo, for god sake! Who is “someone” you tried to mention? I’ve always with you.” I tried to explain all of her silly question.
She looked down to her feet with her index finger touching each other. “I thought you cheated on me”
“Mouuu, you and your drama queen.” I pinched her cheek softly, and then I asked her for one more time regarding the same stuff. “But why you so sudden want to call me Mayuyu?”
She answers my question with pointing her finger to count something, “Because you are cute…. and sweet…., and adorable too.” Then after finishing her words, she starts singing my new nickname. “Mayu, Mayu, Mayuyu~”
“Geez, stop it~”
“Whyy?? Just because you don't like it then I cannot call you with that nickname?” she looked at me with hurting face and I swear that she looks like a queen who want to give a punishment to her disloyal knight. Then she continue her word, “I made it by myselfff.” she pretend to be cute with her teary eyes weapon on. No more haughty queen, it just a normal girl yet quite spirited.
Like I have no option I just gave in and agreed with her “Ok then, you can call me whatever you like.” In a blink of eye, she jump up and down then shout my new nickname.
“Yeeeyyy, Mayuyu! Mayuyu! Mayuyuuu!!”
“Woaahh, its sounds like you making a chant. I like this feeling, it’s feels like I’ve fans echoing my name.” I giggle to her
“Then I’m the first fans of you Mayuyu. I would chant your name every single day if you want.” She smiled at me.
“Ahahaa, I had one loyal fan already.” I give her a hug then she replied to hug me. At that time, we built our comfortable silence moment. Each of us feels the other presence by hugging and touching each other. I placed my hand on her hair and start to play with it. She took different form to express her feeling, like she want to start a conversation, she called my new nickname once again. “Ne, Mayuyu.” She muttered my name while placed her head around my chest.
“Nani nani nani?” Still playing with her hair, I give my warm smile to her even though she could not saw it. Then she just frozen, and said. “Mayuyu-chan, could you give me a nickname too? I wanna one from you.” She buried her face more deep.
“Ehh?? etoou, like I've said before, why so sudden?” I raised my eyebrow, still didn’t get any hint why she start this “nickname stuff” again.
“I want to get special nickname from you, it’s just for us and I hope the others doesn’t know. I want to call you Mayuyu whenever we are alone and if people used to try calling you Mayuyu, don't looking to them!!”
“Woaah, hold on lover girl. What's the purpose of these things?”
“Because you belong to me Mayuyu, and same as I.” she look to other direction, like she want to hiding her pink face from my vision, as long as my face wasn’t there, she could took the deal. I deliberately took this rare opportunity, because I never saw her shy antics, my lips taking its own control and automatically formed a wide grin. Before I knew, I tried teasing her a bit further. “What? Like you belong to yourself?”
“Mouu, Mayuyuu, I’m yours.” she pouted. Her face coming back to look at me, but this time, her gesture and also her face show me that she really taking this case in serious way.
“When the exact time we officially belong to each other?” I tried to tease her once again. I cannot help myself to not teasing her.
“Since our first time met on the park.” She smiles innocently, and caressed my right cheek softly, after a couple of second, she plant a simple peck but it express her feeling to me, full of love and joy at the same time. I could feel electricity tried to get into my heart, paralyzing the entire of my body, lead it into the mind-numbing self-control. When she moving her lips, it leave warm feeling on my cheek and also in my heart.
“Then, since now, I would call you Yukirin.”
I wake up from my bed abruptly. Still process what was on my dream previously. It seems like an old memories tried to make me remember that those event was really happen on my life. Even I could remember it by myself, but these memories really want me to know that it was exist on long time ago. Well, I'm not trying to say that I had forgotten it already or perhaps I didn't give any attention for that. Even from a small piece of event that I'm pretty sure she could forget it, but I'm not. In fact, I remember everything. I could remember the day we met, the day we played together, the day when we celebrate our happiest moments together, whether our birthday, our ceremony for passed the exam and start a new life of our school life, and the memory which I strongly remember, when the last day I could see your face.
Well, time passed pretty fast. When I had a chance to changing things, I don’t change them. But time is surely gives a huge impact to me. Some people would think twice if they could change their past, because there is a possibility that they love their life nowadays. But as for me, I would totally go into my past again and change stuff. But everything goes on, the time traveler machine still not invented until this day, also fairytale doesn’t exist in the real world. What I could do now just waiting here doing nothing unless talks to random people on the same condition like me. I could tell, literally, their condition is not really same like mine, because their condition could be better from time to time. As for me, nothing would change, really, I meant it. NOTHING CHANGES.
The main problem I had from my past is, it keeping me into this ‘form’. It locking me up into a form that people would totally like and most people would falling to me, but for my perspective, it just a waste. Why I could not be like the others?
Suddenly my door slightly opened by someone, but I don’t know who is that, because this unknown person still not come out from his hiding place. What I could see is one hand grasp a bucket of flower which has comes from that tiny space. From that point, I could sense who “she” is. Without a word I just smile even though she still not comes out from her hideout. Then behind the flower, a little bunny hand-puppet looking directly to my place, and waving his tiny hand to me. I just giggle and waving my hand back to that bunny. After she heard my playful voice, she asking me with a high pitch like it comes from the little bunny.
“Hay there young lady, could I come in?” the bunny asking my permission.
“Yes you could. Come here little wabbit.” I said it with a firm tone for the first sentence, but at the last word, my voice cannot stay calm and it sound like a child want something, and my hands already took its act, tried to reach the bunny. Then the bunny saluting and after that he talks to me,
“Thank you princess, but I didn’t come alone, I also bring my friend. Could she receive your permission too??”
After hearing his confession, I pretend to be confused with this condition and answer his request, “Hmm, I’m afraid she couldn’t. Because my nurse said I should not invited any stranger to come.”
Like the bunny was shock with my statement, he lifted his head in so sudden to the person who still hiding behind the door and they acted like they made a little and quick conversation. From my side, it’s really funny, I cannot stop smiling to “them”. After that, the little bunny looks like very sad and said to me.
“Well, if the princess already made her words, then we should obey it. You should go home now my friend.” The little bunny said to his friend.
“But I don’t want go home now!!” his friend behind the door shouting immediately.
After hearing her voice, the real one I mean, I’m just chuckle and after that I give them another choice. “Well, if you could guarantee that your friend is nice, then you guys can grant my permission.”
Firstly, the little bunny looking to his friend and then he looking back at me again then said, “I can guarantee one hundred percent she is a nice girl!” he said it loud with passion. But then, he muttered something, “Well in spite of her annoying attitudes like childish, arrogant, playboy, nosy and-” before he could finished his words, someone already cut him off.
“Ooooii!! How many time I’ve told you to not ruin my reputation in front of chick!!” I could found out the annoyed tone within her voice.
Suddenly my laugh burst out because I can’t stand with it any longer. She pretty knows how to make me smile. While I’m busy with my laugh, then here she is, standing in front of my door with her cute cat-looks-a-like smile looking at me, a young girl dressed with a white t-shirt wrapped up by black baseball jacket with two layers of white colors on the hand side of her jacket and she covered her legs with a thin-black legging under her hot pants jeans. The bunny puppet still covering her left hand and on her other hand, laying a beautiful bucket of flower. She tried to close the door by pushing her sneaker to the door, and slowly walking to my bed.
“How’s your condition baby?” she tried to make a shot with me, placing her left hand over my shoulder, but I just pouted to her. When she capture my pouted, her smile get wider then she start to tease me. She tries to get my attention by using the little bunny on her hand. The little bunny start to poking my right cheek and I turn my view to him.
“Are you ok? Feeling so annoyed already with her?” firstly I just nodded, then answering his second question my nodded become bolder.
“Want me to shoo her? I’m quite confident with my strength you know.” He showing his little wrist and pointed it to his friend.
“Onegaishimasu.” I bowed my head to the bunny. Then within a sec, the bunny walk in front of me to the girl beside me, but because of his movement, I was trapped between them.
“Umm, Mr. Bunny, could you please use another way and not walking in front of me? Like go back from your previous way?” I poke the little bunny and want to remove her hand from my neck, but she already tightened her hand on me and pulled my face closer to her. Our cheeks rubbing each other, without my permission she placing her right hand on my neck and move her position. She placed her foreheads on mine while my eyes looking directly to her eyes. Like my blood rushing up into my head, I swore that she realize a change on my facial because of a light blushed colored on my cheek. Like everything could not be better than this, the back of her palm slowly caressed my cheek, leaving her temperature on the place she touched. After that her face approaches my face to be closer and I could feel her hot breath mixture with smell of strawberry flavor from her lip gloss. Before passing out, I closed my eyes hopes this scene could be vanish in the blink of eyes. But then something moist and soft touched my forehead. When I opened my eyes, what she had done to me was gives a light kiss on that place.
“You know, my kiss could cure everything. And just for you it will cost five thousand yen, please pay it as soon as possible.” She grinned at me and laughed very hard.
“Mouu, Jurinaa!!!” I tried to hit her body to hide my nervous. She always like that, playing around with me and do whatever she want. Like there is no end on her laugh, she continued her laugh and pointed one of her index finger directly on my face.
“You should look at your face, it was hilarious! Ahahaa~” she tried her best to not fainted by holding her tummy and keep laughing. Once I could hear her feet stomp the floor to express her feeling like it was not enough for just laughing on me.
“If you really like laughing right now, just get out of here!” I tried my best to pretend being angry with her.
“Woahh, ease Mayu, ease. I brought you some flower, tadaaaa~” she show me her bucket with both of her hand. After showing her bucket she pronounce the following words by using the little bunny’s voice once again, “Don’t forget to put my name in, you little playboy!”
“Mou Jurina, you shouldn’t have to buy me flowers.” I looked at her. Well actually, I like the gift, but I don’t want her brought any expensive thing just for me. Not to mention her previous gift such as alpaca doll, jelly beans, a lot of comics, some of limited anime stuff, and other gift which I cannot mention. I don’t want to bother her and I didn’t make any rule like if she wants to visit me she should buy me something. Also I’m bit worried with her finances if she keep going with her habit to bring any stuff just for one visit. But I cannot win if she already resists doing my plea.
“Anything for you Mayu.” she said with a bright smile. Again, I cannot win from her.
“Thanks. Oh and thank for you too Mr. Bunny.”
“Like she said before, anything for my sweetheart.” The Bunny gives a bow to me and I could see Jurina’s face, trying to kiss me once again.
“So how’s your day?” I’m asking boring stuff yet interesting stuff. Just to prevent her action.
“Meh, it just same like usual, there is no need to tell you.” She replied my question with boring face.
“Like stealing pure and innocence heart from other girl? I grinned to her.
“I’m not trying to steal anyone heart.” She replied with same tone.
“From many kind of girl around my world, I just want your heart, no one.” She said with cool face and take up my hand. She doesn’t know, inside of my heart, it screaming a melody full of joy.
“Stop it you sweet talker.” I took my hand back to me and divert my face to other direction.
“You cannot hide your feeling from me Mayu-chan.” She just grinned widely, again.
Like I had other option, I moving my view to the Mr. Bunny and asking for help. “Dear little bunny, I give you an order to shoo her right now.”
She seems like has forgot that she still wearing the hand puppet on. Within a second, she change her voice again and answer my order.
“As your wish, my Lord.” He looks to Jurina, and same like Jurina. She looked at the bunny like a puppy trying to lock on her target. Then the war had begun!
“Take this you useful rabbit! You were betraying me!”
“Anything for the princess!”
As Jurina fight over her own hand, I just laugh because of her action.
“You two, just stop it now!!” I pinched her cheek a little bit hard.
“Aaaargghh!! Mayuuu, it’s hurt!! Let me goo”
“Yada, yada, yadaaa.” I close my eyes and give a sign that I didn’t want to stop my action. A simple smile formed on my lips.
Suddenly Jurina yelled on me, “Mayuyuu!! Let your fuckin hand get off on me!”
Then, without my will, my hands just release its grips from her cheek. Her word gives me a goosebumps and also critical hit to my chest. Like she already knew her fault, she throws her playful smile and start looking at me with worried face.
“Mayu, I’m sorry, it was a mistake. I would never yell at you again. I admit that I was a nit thick on you.” She start to take my hand and looking at my eyes.
“You call me what?” I still shock with her previous act.
“Eh?” her facial could tell anyone that she was confused with my question. After looking her face, I assume that I was heard nothing.
“Forget it Jurina, I think I was misheard you.”
“What’s wrong Mayu? Do you want me to call the doctor?” she takes my signal as my condition getting low. When I looked at her face, she looking back at me, and I know that within her face there is a little worried towards my condition. Before she goes to call the doctor, I hug her hand and she turning her head to me again.
“No, you don’t have to. Just stay right here, I miss you so much.” After I tell that word to Jurina, she become relieved and hugs me tightly. In other side I’m feeling secure with her present around me.
“I won’t go anywhere Mayu, I promise.”
I thought the reason I heard she called my secret nickname because of my previous dream which bring my past life with the person I love most. But here I now, hugging other girl, which much younger than me, without she know that my age is older than her, without she know that I would never getting older, thanks to this “form”.

Actually, I had written the following chapter, but when I read it again, its look like the idea of that chapter should be post after one or two chapters. Because I think it would give a different view to my plot story. Other reasons, because as an exchange student, I don't have much time for my hobbies. :sweatdrop:
Don't worry, the progress I have done until now (but still didn't post, yet) I want to edit my story from the very first chapter (do not worries, I just tried to make it more legible) and i'd done with the chapter 1. I don't know whether I have readers who still interested with my fic or not, but I would totally continue this fic. (But perhaps the tempo for posting new chapter would become more slower than ever...)

Hai, I made a Christmas present for secret santa project in tumblr, I just know that the one who should received this present is Natsumikan oshi when I just nearly completed this fic. But still, I hope s/he would enjoy reading this. For all readers, I wish you Merry Christmas! :heart:
Winter Project
Several days before Christmas, young Yuki noticed from her window, there were truck and a car parked in front of the empty house beside her parent house and took a conclusion that the house finally got occupied with one family. She never thought someone would ever move to new place in the cold weather like this but in the end she doesn't want to know the reason at all. She closed her curtain and headed back to her bed. The sun starting to rise slowly from the horizon but she still wearing her pajama and already covered with blanket when she heard soft footstep in front of her door following with a knocked.
“Yuki, there’s new family moving in to the house beside ours, let’s go to our new neighbor’s place and help them.” Her mother tried to wake her up. It’s still 7 in the morning and Yuki didn't have any intention to leave her bed again this soon.
“Eh, yadaa! It's too early and it's too cold outside.” She argued her mother. She could heard her mom sighed outside for her antics.
“Mouu, I heard that they have a cute little daughter, you can play with her if you don't want to help. At least go out from your room once in a while, the weather is nice though.” Her mother insists to take out her daughter out of her bed. Actually Yuki doesn't care at all if the new neighbor have child, but it seems like her mother didn't want to lose and this argument will keep continue for the rest of that day if there’s no one who admit defeated. Therefore she give up and answered her mother.
“Fine, just give me some more time to change clothes.” hearing Yuki’s positive answer she goes back to the kitchen for preparing breakfast.
Started from this week, Yuki always stay quietly in house, it was due to the school’s holiday season and she doesn't feel like to go out in the cold weather at all. But today is slightly different. She has to help this new neighbor of hers even though she doesn't want to. Slowly she crawling from her bed and up with her feet to the cabinet and took new and freshly washed clothes. She lazily changes her clothes and goes to the bathroom to wash her teeth. After several minutes passed, she goes to the kitchen and quietly sat in the dining table, while her mom preparing breakfast for her.
“Mom do you know our new neighbor by chance? I don't know someone will stay at that house.” Said Yuki while munching her sandwich.
“Yes, but not too much.” Yuki learn there is no more information she could obtain from her mother. This simple sentence is enough to shut her curious out from her cells.
Right after she finished her meal, her father informs them that it’s time to go outside. When she stepped out from house, she was greeted by cold air which makes her regret her decision for not stay inside her cozy and warm blanket at her bedroom. From her place, she can spot the new neighbor trying to pick out goods from their car into their new home. While her parent greeted them and had a conversation with other adults, she caught a glimpse on a small yet adorable little girl holding a rabbit plush. She standing behind her parent while avoiding all adults gaze. That time Yuki’s eyes and this girl’s eyes meet with each other.
‘Cute.’ The only word Yuki can come up with to describe the little girl in overall.
After a couple of second their gaze encounter, the girl gradually throws her gaze to other spot and slowly hide behind her parent.
‘Too shy even for a glance huh?’
“Mayu-chan go greeting your new neighbor.” with a smile plastered in her mother face, she lightly push her child a bit to the front.
“Hi, I’m Mayu. Nice to meet you.” after the short introduction she went back to hide behind her mother again.
“Well nice to see you Mayu-chan, we hope you can get along with our Yuki.”
Yuki didn't even try to be friendly; she just nodded at her mom’s statement and remains silent. Her behavior caught Mayu’s attention a bit.
After the small chitchat finished, the adults starts to continue their work. Mayu -together with her bunny doll- tried to help her parent but her mom simply said that she could help her by being friendly to her new friend, Yuki. Right after she received her new task, then she spotted Yuki in the near bench sitting by herself while observed the adults works. Reached to Yuki’s place, she greeted her with hesitation.
“Uhm, may I sit beside you?” unsure whether she do right thing or not, she asked permission while holding her plush.
“Well, sure yes.” Feeling little bit surprised by the little girl manner then she continued to speak by saying, “for a little girl you do have some manner.”
“I don't know if I have one, but mom keep telling me to ask permission first.” in a timid voice. After that none of them tried to initiate conversation. Mayu thought she need to speak more, this time, she makes sure that her voice sounds like her usual tone.
“I like snow, and snow in here is really nice. I could count how many days I went outside at my previous house due to the weather was not friendly. I cannot play outside and mom always gave order that I shouldn't go outside when the weather is not pleasant.”
“I don't like snow.”
“Why?”
Yuki didn't give any answer to that question. In an instant they went back to the previous situation where none of them tried to speak up. In other hand, Mayu was obviously curious why Yuki didn't like snow. Her own name is obviously containing ‘snow’, though. But Mayu didn't want to ask more questions. Noticed that she was holding her doll, she abruptly change the subject into her bunny.
“Mom said if I become a polite girl then Santa will come and I will get a rabbit for my Christmas present. I’m going to name it Mr. White-thumbs, it will share the same name like my bunny doll.”
“Mr.- what?” Yuki seemed curious.
“Mr. White-thumbs, it’s his name.” she pointed her plush to Yuki. “Just a couple of day until everyone acknowledged me that I’m a nice and polite girl, then I will get a real rabbit and I’ll let him play with me.”
Not sure if the girl just trying to goofy around or not, Yuki gazed into her face. There’s no playful smile or anything but determination eyes. It was quite funny for Yuki though.
“What if he thought that you’re not a nice person?” She blurted out.
“Eeehh?” Mayu looked very troubled by that question, she never asked her mother before. When Yuki still haven’t got her answer from the young Watanabe, she pretend to be serious and said,
“Well I know one story, this was originally from my friend’s experience. She has one plush that she loved so much and wanted to get a bunny like you but she failed.”
“After she failed then what happen?” Mayu was curious to know what had happened.
“Her bunny doll just simply disappear, she never saw her bunny again. May be the bunny didn't like her because she failed.”
“No way! Mr. White-thumbs loves me.”
“That’s what he want you to think.”
Mayu was on the verge of tears right after she learned that the bunny might leave her. The story Yuki just told feels so real. She immediately convinced by that story. Seeing that she had caused a trouble to Mayu, she considers to reveal her lie. But she cannot tell the truth or else Mayu might be pissed.
“Well, all you have to do is giving him a lot of love, therefore Mr. whoever his name is, will love you back like the way you do.”
“But what if he left me behind?”
“I wont let it happen. I think you’re the nicest and the most innocent girl around this place.”
Yuki patted Mayu’s head for a second. After Mayu’s expression seemed more relieved, Yuki gave her a simple smile. Mayu was wondering why this girl beside her could be so different with the girl she know just several minutes ago who previously looked so cold, aloof and distant, which now becomes into girl with heartwarming attitude. This sudden alteration of character makes Mayu questioned her.
“We barely know each other but why you’re so confident with that?”
Yuki eyes now gazed into the adult and said, “Well, it’s simply because you’re so naive.” She turned her face to Mayu and continued, “Too naive that you cannot tell what’s true and not true.”
“What do you mean?”
It was so hard for Yuki for not laughing in front of her new companion who seemed to be puzzled with her statement. She thought it was the time to reveal her prank, she didn't care if Mayu might pissed or not now. Even though in her mind she said that she didn't care with how Mayu feels afterwards, there was subtle feeling that she concerns about the young Watanabe. But she reminds herself that she would never develop any interest in other people feeling.
“I’m telling you a lie, silly.”
“Eeehh?”
No other word came from the petite girl. She was processing new fact that none of Yuki’s statement was true. One moment she thought Yuki is a nice girl, but in a split second she hesitated with the nature of girl beside her. She was struggling to regain her composure at first. But after several second, she had recovered her self-control.
“So no rabbit had disappeared?”
“May be.”
“Why may be?”
“Because I never heard any.”
“…..”
The only thing Mayu could do was just remaining silent. She wanted to retort but nothing comes in her mind. There are so many questions she wants Yuki to answer like why did she told her a made-up story. But in the end she was wordless.
“Well if there’s nothing we’d discuss then I’m going mini market now. See you when I see you.”
Just like that Yuki left her companion and went to her parent asking whether there’s something they want to buy as well and then go without looking to Mayu. She was leaving the younger confused with what had happened. Meanwhile the petite girl stood up and walked herself back to her new residence. In every step she took, she tried to remember did she make inappropriate thing to the other girl that makes the Yuki girl hate her. Sure she was a little bit shy before because these was her first time moving to a new place, but she didn't do anything wrong at all. Mayu went inside the house and searched her parent. Right after she spotted her mom, she bumped into her.
“What’s wrong honey?”
“Mom I don’t think Yuki-chan likes me.”
“Why not?”
“….”
“Well I believe she likes you, you just need to be more friendly. I know you can do it.”
Mayu didn't think she wasn't friendly with Yuki. Her gesture shows that she disagreed with her mom’s opinion. At that time her mom are aware of her gesture. She knelt down and patted Mayu’s head.
“Honey, I wont push you to do something you don't want to. But if you think that she doesn't like you, why don't you try to make her like you? Your dad and I likes you, your friends likes you, so why would Yuki not like you?”
“Because I’m too naive?”
“Hahaa, where did you learn that word?”
Mayu didn't give response to that question, instead she lowering her head and throw her stare to other place. Her mom smiled.
“It’s ok to be naive, no one would ever blame you for who you are. You need to be more confident with yourself. Trust me people will like you like the way I did.”
“Why don't you try to talk with her again next time? I’m sure you two can be friends.”
“I’ll try then.” Her mom pulls her closer and gives her a warm hugs.
“Don't try to be someone you don't want to, just be like yourself. I believe she will notice that you’re special. After all we’re just move in to this place, may be you’re taking a conclusion way to fast. Just give it a time, dear.”
Mayu nodded to her argument. After her mom witnessed that her daughter agreed with her then she brushed a lock of hair from her forehead and gave a peck on it to assure her daughter. After Mayu smiled to her, she continued to unpack the boxes. Right when she was alone, Mayu was deeply consumed with her own thought. May be Yuki didn't meant to be unfriendly, if her first impression wasn't good enough for Yuki’s standard then she can start over again. After she gained her self-assurance back, she recalled her previous chat with Yuki.
‘She said she didn't like snow, I wonder why?’ she looked out of the window and gazed at the bench where they were sitting together.
‘I never met someone who didn't like snow, may be she didn't have companion to enjoy the snow. If it’s the case then may be I could be her friend to accompany her.’

The following day, in Watanabe’s new residence, the one and only little girl in that house wake up a little bit early than her parent. With heavy-eyed she tried to recollect all her spirit. Her eyes were steadily gazed and scrutinized her new bedroom. After she grasped the important point that she already move in to her new house, like an arrow from a bow, she went to the nearest window and look outside just to find out snow were all over the ground. Smiling to herself, she rushed outside and took the snow with hands covered with glove. Several minutes after she had fun and made a number of snowballs, the sound from neighbor’s house diverted her from her fun. Now she remember the Kashiwagi girl. From the place where she stands, she could catch a sight of young Kashiwagi’s raven hair. She recalled what her mother said about being friendly to Yuki. Aside from what her mother had ordered her to do, she was curious about Yuki. After her first meeting with Yuki, she can’t help herself for wondering about what kind of girl the young Kashiwagi is. Glancing to her bunch of snowballs, the young Watanabe proceed to throw a snowball through the window. After 2 balls awfully missed its target, 1 ball trapped at nearby tree, 1 ball ridiculously fall only 10 centimeter from her spot, she finally managed to hit Yuki’s window. After she got Yuki’s attention, Mayu waved her hand and chirped.
“Good morning Yuki-chan! Wanna play together?”
“No.” was the only answer Mayu received from the Young Kashiwagi. Not satisfied with the answer, she swiftly rang the neighbor’s bell. She didn't wait too long for Mrs. Kashiwagi to open up the door.
“Oh good morning Mayu, what are you up to?”
“Good morning Yuki Mama, I was wondering if Yuki-chan has wake up? I want to invite her to play outside with me. The snow is really great at morning.” She smiled. Seeing the beam on Mayu’s face was enough to influence Mrs. Kashiwagi’s thought.
“Wait a minute and I’ll make Yuki get ready for you.”
“Yey, I’ll wait outside then. Need to prepare lots of snowball for Yuki-chan.” Right after the door was closed, she went back to her previous spot where she threw the snowballs. Standing in the same place where Yuki previously saw her, Yuki darted chilling glance to Mayu. Unaffected by Yuki’s unfriendliness, she waved to Yuki and curved her mouth into a sentence ‘I-WILL-WAIT-YOU-OUTSIDE’. In the other side, the act of her new neighbor makes Yuki felt stressed out. Knowing that in a several second she will hear the sound of her mom’s footstep close to her door, she half-heartedly pull out her glove from her cabinet and dressed herself with her winter coat. Right before her mom knocked her door, she opened the door.
“Yuki, do you remember the girl from-”
“Yes, I remember her, and yes I’ll accompany her.” coldly without waiting for her mom’s reply, she went outside. She directly proceeded her way to Mayu. Her hand rested on her pocket.
“What do you want little beast?” Yuki want to make Mayu mad, but to no avail.
“Play with you, of course? Do you really need to ask?” she slightly raised her eyebrow.
“Well it wont hurt anybody if I ask.” She sighed.
“Soo, here you go, you can help me to make snowball.” Mayu pushed some snow to Yuki’s hand. “If you think that make a snowball is easy, YOU ARE WRONG! You need to calculate how much snow do you need to get the shape of perfect ball.”
“It’s only snowball, why you exaggerating this thing?” Yuki groaned.
“Because.. if you didn't pay attention to my advise, you would end up with other shape! We need circle snow, not triangle, not square, or even a spiral snow!”
Deep down in her mind, Yuki thought how can someone make spiral snow and internally she wished to see if someone can make it.
“Fine, we do it in your way.” She muttered.
“Glad to hear that from you.” Mayu said that words joyfully.
Both of them began to form the snow into what Mayu said as ‘perfect snowball’. There were trials and errors for snowballs made by Yuki because in Mayu’s judgment it didn't get the right form.
“No, you squeeze it too hard.”
“No, the form is not solid.”
“No, it’s oval.”
“No, it still lacks something.”
“No, you didn't put much love on it. Try again”
After too many rejections, Yuki had enough. She threw the last snowball to Mayu’s back. The sudden attack from Yuki surprised her, she lost her balance and fell down to the ground. All her face was covered with snow. Yuki smirk to the little Watanabe and she feels like she win.
“I do put a lot of love within those ball, can you feel it?”
“All I can feel was a bitter cold on my face..”
“Let me help you.” Yuki offered her hand to Mayu. Right when Mayu tried to reach out her hand, Yuki once again surprise her with another snowball. The ball landed perfectly in Mayu’s face.
“………”
“In the end, the shape of snowball doesn't matter at all. I could win even if I didn't follow your instruction.” Yuki attempted to give more icy comment to Mayu. After she thought Mayu couldn’t come out with any other idea, she was about to go back to her house when she heard Mayu’s voice.
“THIS.IS.WAR!!!”
“Wha-” one snowball struck out at Yuki upper part on her face.
“Now we’re even!” But even so, she quickly makes more snowballs and then run to the nearest tree.
“You little beastie.. Fine, the game is on!”

After 3 hours of nonstop war, they were finally lost their stamina. Tired with all the fight she had, Yuki leaned her back on the snow while Mayu approached Yuki and sat next to her and drew random object with her finger on the snow.
“You know, for someone who said she hates snow, it seemed like you were having fun.” There was no answer from Yuki. She remained silent. Because she didn't reply, Mayu just continue blurted out her thought about Yuki.
“I never find anyone who didn't like snow except you and it’s kind of weird for me to dislike snow. More importantly, your name IS snow, I thought you have to like snow in order to appreciate your name like I did to you.” For Mayu’s logic, it doesn't make any sense. Why someone who named after snow didn't like snow?
“I don't like snow.. snow is cold..” ‘And so am I.’ Yuki closed her eyes when she answering Mayu’s question. A lot of people around her age said to her that she’s so cold and unfriendly. Though she tried to be friendly at first, but it seemed that her effort was useless. She is one of a kind, but it seemed like not only her but also those people understand how to interact with each other. Because of that she built a wall and tried not to curious with other mind. When Yuki started to become defensive, Mayu responded to Yuki’s statement with a big smile.
“Well, cold things are nice! One cold iced tea and kakigori can help you when the weather is too hot, like in summer! Oh, I like ice cube, Yuki (snow), and even Yuki-chan!” The last two words sound exactly the same but the only things that differ them were only the characters. It makes Yuki chuckled to herself a little due to the poor pun and then sat up.
“You are silly little beastie. Fine, This time I’ll forgive you for dragging me into this sort of thing. Don’t do this again to me, will you?”
“Ok, I promise to my bunny collection, I wont do this thing again.” ‘I promise to not hit you with snowball again, this year.’
“Wow, why it’s so easy to tame you? I thought it would be tricky.” Yuki feels a little bit unsure with Mayu’s behavior. She thought she would use a lot of effort just to get the little Watanabe behave.
“Fear not my friend, you could trust this Mayu.” ‘For now.’ She thought. Mayu schemed to involve Yuki in her new project so called ‘let’s makes Yuki in love with snow’. She already had in her mind the rough idea of her new plan. While the little Watanabe established her game plan, Yuki in other side feels so hungry because of this unexpected event with Mayu.
“Well, okay.. It was nice to play with you. I think I would get brunch now, bye.” Without looking to Mayu, she proceeds to go to her house. She thought the play is over and there is no other activity with that little Watanabe. But she was wrong…
“Nice, I’ll get some too.” Mayu happily followed Yuki to her house. She kept humming while walking behind Yuki. At first Yuki thought she was escorting Yuki back to home, but Mayu didn't stop following her until she was close to the front door. When Yuki realized what Mayu meant, she quickly stops walking.
“Why are you following me?”
“To get brunch?”
“Where?”
“In your house, right? Or do you eat your brunch outside? Either way I’ll be happy.”
“Why don't you get it on your own house?”
“My mom is still sleeping, I guess. But your mom is awake.”
“Well, you can make your own.”
“No I can’t, I didn't know how to fry karaage.” Yuki was frowned on by Mayu’s antic. ‘Who on earth would eat karaage in the morning?’ she thought. Moreover it seems that her little “friend” failed to grasp the idea that she was uninvited to come to Yuki’s house.
“Karaage? Why karaage? I don't think my mom will cook that.”
“Whaaat? So what will you eat? Leaves?” Mayu purely shocked.
‘This girl..’ Yuki mentally face palmed herself for every words and things that comes from Mayu. She recalled her memory for how long did she know this girl, but then she remembered that it was only for a day. She started to believe that this was her punishment for being mean to Mayu yesterday.
“Listen kiddo, just because my mom didn't cook karaage, it doesn't mean that we only eat leaves. What do you think I am? A caterpillar?”
“If you’re a caterpillar, then you’re the beautiful one. Beautiful caterpillar!!” She shouted cheerfully.
“Oh God! Just do what ever you want! I give up!” that was the first time Mayu saw Yuki groaned in pain. She was curious to know what had happened to the older girl. But in the end, karaage takes priority over any other matter.
“Yess, karaage!!” Just like that, Yuki, who was defeated by Mayu, goes to her own house followed by Mayu, who now hopped around behind Yuki. When they arrived in the kitchen, they greeted by Yuki’s mom who was enjoying her cup of coffee.
“How was your morning girls? Have fun with the weather already?”
“Yes! Today’s weather is great! You should check it by yourself.” Mayu swiftly answer it while beaming her smile.
“I think I will check it later, so are you hungry Mayu?” the only answer she got was a strong nod from Mayu and a simple sentence from Yuki.
“She wants karaage.”Yuki coldly answered it while pouring herself a nice cup of tea.
“Ah, but I don't have chicken meat right now. Why don't you buy it with Yuki in the market and I’ll prepare the rest.”
“Excuse me? Why me? I’m not the one who want to eat karaage.” Usually, she had always been obedient if her mom ordered her to do things. But she didn't want to interact with snow again after what she did with Mayu in the whole morning.
“But Mayu doesn't familiar with our neighborhood yet, and besides she’s too small to go out alone.”
“I can help you to do the preparation inside of house. It’s too cold outside, I don't want to go outside again..” While Yuki still attempted to negotiate with her mom, in a sudden Mayu grabbed one of Yuki’s hand and lead the way out from kitchen.
“Sure thing ma’am! Let’s go Yuki-chan!”
“Oi! I don't say that I’ll go!” But Mayu was already dragging her off to buy the grocery. Once again, she defeated by the little Watanabe. She was starting to regret her decision she made this morning. ‘Why Would I agree to accompany her in the first place.’
After they received money and put on their coat, both girls walked along the road to the market. In the way to the market, Mayu still never let her hand off from Yuki’s hand and Yuki just noticed that.
“You can let go of my hand, beastie.” Without looking to Mayu.
“Why should I? I don't want you to disappear and get lost without me.”
“I won't disappear and I won't get lost silly, if there is a person between us who will eventually get lost, it would be you.”
“No way! I never get lost.”
“Suit yourself.” Was the only cold remark she can give to Mayu. After a couple minutes of holding hands together, Yuki start to divert herself as she gazed at Mayu’s little frame in front of her. Yuki haven’t let someone touch her hand for as long as she could remember, and this little skin contact with Mayu makes her feel a little bit secure. Unconsciously she tightened up her grip on Mayu’s hand.

Not too long after that, they finally reached the market. Even though the market size was not too big but it has great arrangement, the interior was filled with Christmas ornament. But because tomorrow is a Christmas day, it was a little bit crowded there. As soon as they entered, the two girls took a stroll first because Mayu got totally excited and kept moving around from one store to another store like she was in a tour with Yuki. She often stop for a second just to see what that store sells and often she stop more longer than half minute, it was mainly because the shop sells candies or something that she think look beautiful or tasty.
“What a cute little girl we have here~ here, take some of these candies”
“Thank you Onee-san!”
“You treated your little sister very well.”
“She’s not my little sister.” Yuki casually answer every comment she received from all stranger that mistakenly think Mayu is her little sister. Yuki kept getting similar conversation like that for couple of times. And she was a bit annoyed due to the fact that everyone keeps telling her the same dialogue. Even though she felt annoyed, but not in a second she released her hand from Mayu’s hand and vice versa. Mayu kept dragging Yuki to follow her whenever she was excited towards something. After several minutes they were strolling the area, finally Mayu spotted the store they were looking for.
“Yuki-chan, those store sells meat! I can see big chunk of meat from here!”
“Mayu, don’t drag me..”
“Come on~ for karaage!”
“Still a no, it's your favorite, not mine.”
“Mou, even my granny can walk faster than you.”
She absolutely hates for being compared to a granny and even more, the one who start comparing her was this little Watanabe. In that instance, she was fast walking to that store without giving prior notice to Mayu which caused the little girl being dragged along with her. After they reached the store, Yuki swiftly purchased the meat and ready to leave but then the owner talked to Mayu while handling the groceries and some other stuff.
“Here’s a little extra of chicken meat and jelly beans for your cheerful little sister, Miss.” Said the old shopkeeper to Yuki while pointing his thumb to Mayu.
“Ah, thank you! I’ll enjoy eat it later.” Little Watanabe shows her beaming face to the shopkeeper. It seems like both of them really likes each other. The shopkeeper likes her bubbly and bright personality while Mayu likes his jellybeans gift. People who saw them might think that both side share similar personality and how adorable they are. But there is only one person who looks so grumpy.
“She’s not my little sister!”

As they reached back home to Yuki’s house, her mother quickly cooked the meat and served the hot and crispy karaage for Mayu and Yuki. It won’t take too much time to make the dish because when she waited for those two girls, she prepared the equipment for making karaage and also she managed to bake some cookies for their dessert. Later after that she went out with Yuki’s father to pick up their Christmas tree.
“Yuki, I baked some cookies for you and Mayu. It still in the kitchen, go eat them with Mayu.”
“You don't have to make cookies though.” Ignoring Yuki’s answer she shouted from outside of kitchen.
“Don't forget to eat those cookies Mayu, and share it with Yuki, ok?”
“Yes Yuki Mama~ Thank you~”
“Ok, I’ll see you later girls, bye!” then she went out.
Yuki finished her meal first and later on watched the little Watanabe eating her dish. There are too many expressions on Mayu’s face when she was eating, and it somehow amused Yuki by just seeing her expression. Realized that someone is watching her, she quickly threw her gaze to Yuki.
“What? Don't tell me you wanna steal my karaage?” she over protected her meal like the value of her dish could buy her a thousand mansions. As Yuki saw Mayu’s ridiculous behavior, she cannot help but chuckled.
“Relax girl, I wont steal anything from you.”
“You sure?”
“Not sure yet.” And there she goes with her defensive mode all over again. Knowing that Yuki were successfully activated Mayu’s new function, she went to tease her more further.
“Even if you are able to defend your karaage now, it doesn't mean that you can do the same thing in the future from me.” Now she can see threat of danger in Mayu’s face. She could do all of this stuff for the rest of the day, but she doesn’t want the little girl scared over her joke. She decided to wash her dishes and want to take a bath afterwards as she felt that her body a bit chilly.
“You can finish your meal, and then eat your cookies. I want to take a bath.” Mayu gives her a simple nod and continue eating her brunch in peace now, without having fear of Yuki’s presence and the idea of Yuki might steal her precious karaage. It didn't take a long time because Yuki had quick bath and went back to kitchen eventually. She didn't find the little girl in the kitchen and now she was wondering where is Mayu. She later found her at the living room, sitting in a good form and wait patiently for Yuki.
“Are you done eating your meal?” Without looking to the source of voice, Mayu just nodded. Yuki can sense that Mayu act strange. ‘Something is not right.’
“Say, Mayu, wanna grab some cookies now?”
“Uhm, I’m not hungry anymore, I ate a lot when you were taking a bath.”
“Funny though, I feel like having some cookies now. Want to share it together?”
“Ahh, no thanks, I don't want cookies for now.”
“Are you sure?” Mayu just nodded again, and from Yuki’s point of view, she looks very odd. She can observe that Mayu was sweat dropping whenever she mentioned cookies. Unsure of herself, she went back to the kitchen for having some cookies only to find an empty jar with cookies crumble in it.
“Mayuuu!” She shouted inside the kitchen. Mayu has successfully provoked Yuki’s temper by keeping a secret from her. Yuki walked back to living room and placed the empty jar in front of Mayu.
“There were two dozen cookies on this jar, and now they’re gone!” She was hoping Mayu would tell her the truth. Now both of them gazed in each other eyes and just after that Mayu pointed her index finger to the jar and shout at it.
“Bad jar!”
“……”
“Bad jar!! Where did you hide Yuki-chan’s cookies!”
“……”
She felt the urge to pinch Mayu cheeks since the morning however she doesn't think that Mayu deserves for a pinch in the cheek. But now she thought that it was the right moment to make the little Watanabe suffer a bit.
“You know, I would rather hang out with a psycho alpaca than a person who tells lies.” Yuki told her as she pinched Mayu’s cheek.
“Am no- lyin’.” She manages to answer even though she struggled a bit
“If you’re not, why I can see cookie crumbles around your mouth huh?” as Yuki wiped some crumbles on the corner of Mayu’s lips with her thumb.
“It just a fairy dust!”
“So now you admit you wasn’t only ate the cookies but you also ate fairy??” ‘What kind of logic does she try to tell me?’
“Noo, I’m not that cruel!” Mayu tried to defend herself.
Because Mayu didn't want to admit that she was lying on Yuki, Yuki licks the leftover crumbles on her thumbs which she got from Mayu’s lips and recognized the familiar taste.
“It’s indeed cookie crumbles you little liar.” Being spotted from lying, Mayu tried to maintain her facial expression. Softly she placed both of her hand on Yuki’s cheeks and later on she squeezes her cheeks to distract Yuki and then she flee off the scene.
“Mayu come back here!”

After sending time together for whole day, Yuki becomes more familiar with Mayu’s presence and so does Mayu. At evening Yuki’s parent reached home with the Christmas tree together with Mayu’s parent who came along to pick up Mayu.
“Eh, don't wanna. I still want to play with Yuki-chan.” She grabs one of Yuki’s hand.
“Funny, but I don't share the same idea though.”
“See, let’s go home now before you troubled Yuki again.” Now Yuki regret her choice of words, when she says something sharp to Mayu, she didn't really meant it that way, of course Mayu didn't get it since she’s just a little girl, but the other Watanabes surely get the idea that she didn't want her to stay too long.
“Ah it’s fine Watanabe-san, I can handle her.” she quickly gives a response.
“See? She loves me.” she said that and later on cling to Yuki’s hand.
“Don't exaggerate it Mayu.” She complained while pushed Mayu a little. Out of nowhere her mom comes and invites Mayu to stay.
“Why don't you sleep over in here with Yuki, I guess there’s no problem?”
“Now don't exaggerate it too mom.”
“Yeay, I’m gladly accept your invitation! We’ll have fun together Yuki-chan!”
“Oh gosh.”

Later on the two families were having dinner together and after they were finished, the girls goes up to Yuki’s room. When Yuki opened her room, the young Watanabe rushed into her bed and drop her body to the bed. All Yuki could do just sighed. It was a long day for both of them, but none of them felt tired with each other presences.
“Nee, did you get a lot of fun today?”
“It depends on what perspective do you want to know.” She just doesn’t want to tell Mayu the truth that she enjoyed being with her. Hearing Yuki’s replies, Mayu changes her position and throws her glances into Yuki while beaming a big smile.
“I had a lot of fun today~ and I hope you feel the same.” Her faces shows sincere expression and Yuki could see it. In response to Mayu honest comment she didn't want to lie but she can’t give a truthful answer either. Blushing a bit, she gives an answer to Mayu.
“… Just a bit.”
“That’s great! Then tomorrow we’ll build a snowman together!”
“Snow again? What’s with this outdoor activity? Cant we just stay inside?”
“Dame! We need to do that tomorrow because I still have strength to play outside tomorrow.”
“What do you mean?” Yuki can't get the idea why they should go outside again, she finally could get along with Mayu but she still don't know the reason why “Yuki likes snow” project is so important to Mayu. The younger one displays sad smile in her face.
“I love snow, but I don't have the average stamina like any other kid have. But it doesn't stop me to play outside house in the winter. Moreover, I have this winter project to make you loves snow too. So I don't want to waste my time.” She smiled at Yuki.
It finally reaches Yuki, and now after she understands the reason, she sits besides Mayu, places one of her hand on top Mayu’s hand and then answered, “Fine, we’ll do whatever you want.” Mayu was so happy with Yuki’s response, she intertwined her fingers to Yuki’s.
“You won’t disappointed, I promise!” Seeing a delightful smile in Mayu’s face makes her heart warms, and she doesn't know why. She was glad that her answer could make the younger happy. Yuki tried to recollect all her memories about this child, she just spent one of her day with Mayu but it feels like she just spent a day that seems worth of years. As she looked into Mayu’s face, she feels grateful to know this girl.
“I guess a little companion from you in a Christmas eve is not that bad. Merry Christmas Mayu, I’m looking forward for your winter project.”

Winter Project is cute, Mayu is too naive for her own good, and it's uncommon to see Yuki is a cold person. But i squaled so much when I read it, because they are so kawaii in my imagination
