(Artist) Sachi Tainaka
« on: June 03, 2007, 11:04:28 PM »
I just noticed this singer on wiki.theppn.org - I've never heard of her, but she's released a few singles and an album and she looks pretty cute (the latter factor of COURSE guaranteeing good music!!   :P  )  ...   but I'd be interested to hear something of her, if anyone cares to find something online and post it for us.  Afraid that I only have dialup so no access to torrents, Veoh is sloooooooow AS, etc...  So... any help appreciated!

Her home page is:  http://www.tainakasachi.jp/

Wiki.theppn is:  http://wiki.theppn.org/Tainaka_Sachi

Profile (from wiki.theppn, with thanks!):

    * Stage Name: Tainaka Sachi (タイナカサチ)
    * Real Name: Tainaka Sachi (田井中 彩智)
    * Birthday: April 30, 1986
    * Birthplace: Kakogawa, Hyogo
    * Blood Type: A

Anyone able to explain the difference between the stage name and real name, please?

Ah, Tainaka Sachi. <3 I first heard her songs while watching anime (Fate/Stay Night), and I have a couple of those tracks I liked best.

Here, I'll share them.

The stage name is written in katakana, as opposed to her real name in kanji.

Thanks a heap for the replies and information and downloads, Estrea and Ayabie!  Really appreciated!  (Sorry it took me a while to get back here and acknowledge your posts!!)

If anyone ever has the chance to up the album, I'd be grateful too!  The tracks so far sounds great.  Heck, maybe I'll even buy it!!

I think a lot of people know her as the singer of the Fate/stay night songs, since it was a highly-anticipated anime. At least that's how I found out about her.

Just heard an advertisement of her first album a couple of days ago, so I went and downloaded it. I don't have time to up it now, so if no one ups it by the time I get back, I'll do it.

I thought the b-side to disillusion was awesome too, so here's a quick upload:

Wasurekaketeita no kana

disillusion is actually a cover of the game opening of Fate/stay night, THIS ILLUSION (well, isn't that a nice play on words :lol:), but the styles are pretty different so no comparisons can really be made. For now, I won't upload it (unless, of course, if someone actually wants to hear it).

Heh heh...  I just did some reading about the Japanese writing system.  I now know that I will NEVER manage to learn written Japanese (not that I have any handle on spoken Japanese either, beyond a few words!)  But thanks for making me go look that stuff up, Ayabie, and I do now understand (at least in theory) what's going on there.  Just, I thought I was reasonably intelligent, but my full props to anyone who manages to master even a fraction of all that!    :cry:  :lol:

Heh, I was just gonna thank you in advance and then right now you edited the link in!  This will be wonderful, based on the tracks already upped from the anime soundtrack.  Thanks SO much for sharing this.  (It will take me a while to grab, cos I am on dialup plus all my settings are rapidly failing here and I may have to reinstall all my hard disk before I can do much more.  But I am looking forward to it heaps!!

I'll probably just grab this quickly before the album;  so thanks for this too!!

Heh heh... well...  I wouldn't have known, b-u-u-u-t...  now that you've mentioned the different styles, I guess I'd love to hear the game opening version, if that's not toooo hard to do  (I have no technical knowledge of what that takes!)  Really appreciate your help here, and everyone who's chipped in...

Edit:  I finally managed to d/l everything posted - wow, I love what I'm hearing!  Thanks to all who posted, specially Tydus Arandor and for the album especially!  Really appreciate the help!

Wow!  I just noticed...  this even has all the insert art included as scans!  Total bonus!  Thank you SO much!!

And the album is totally GROWING on me by the hour.  I just love the 2nd track, "Saikou no Kataomoi", just so much.  Man, this girl can sing!!

First of all, sorry for the late reply, exams and all that coming up x_X;;.

I only have a version compatible with iPod (.m4a) with me at the moment (it wasn't .mp3 to begin with anyway) and it's only 1:30 min long. I have no idea if there's supposed to be a longer version. I hope this will at least suffice for now ^^;. It's interesting to hear both styles, I personally like both of them for different reasons. (Getting a bit off topic here now <_<;; )

I think her latest single, Itoshii Hito e, was just released a couple of days ago? I've seen the PV on YouTube and the song seems decent; I'll try to see if I can get a hold of that and upload it after all the exams die down..

Sachi's 7th single "Visit of love" will be released 23rd January (GNCX-0013).  Her second album "Love is ..." has a release date of 13th February (CD: GNCX-1005, CD+DVD: GNCX-1006) and on the same day we get a live concert DVD, "タイナカ サチ Live 2007~Dear ...~" (GNBX-1001)
