I'm one to usually get over a graduation pretty quickly, but not this girl. Not this amazing girl. She was an amazing talent, a major highlight of Team S, SKE48 and the whole *48 empire. I think I've seen her on Yamashita Moe's twitter a time or two, but I'm still hopeful that someday we'll see her make a splash in the seiyuu circuit. She more than deserves success. Original Ame no Pianist cast for life.

Yuimin's graduation started the deterioration of Team S, from which is still hasn't recovered.

I was happily surprised when I saw Yui is included the Hokago, Nijigen Dokokai book! I didn't expect that at all since Yui's been out of SKE48 for quite a while now. I wonder if the members suggested it or maybe the management remembered her love for the 2D world. Either way, it shows strong bonds within the group.

The fans love her too. I was quite touched when she came out in a wheelchair during ...I think it was one of SKE48's Request Hour Concerts. Her epic role as Mowarin in Mousou Deka gave us a final goodbye present.

Former SKE48 member Matsushita Yui to release her solo debut single

It was announced that Matsushita Yui will make a solo debut under Tokuma Japan Communications, and her 1st single “Shooting Star” is set for release on May 22.

Matsushita was a member of SKE48 since 2008, and she went on hiatus in order to receive treatment for osteochondritis dissecans on both of her ankles in 2010. However, as she needed to undergo long-term rehabilitation, and there was very little probability that she would be able to dance how she used to even if her ankles recovered completely, she graduated from the group in 2011.

This is the most exciting J-Pop news so far this year. Yuimin is one of the few grads that has really stuck with me and her talent is far too great to not be utilized. I'm ecstatic and hope for a great single. Most definitely buying a copy or three of this one.
