^ :D I do~ I've been interested for afew years, but I wasn't very good at editting photos, and my camera kinda sucked...
Right now I'm doing my second year and creating my own project-- I'm really unsure of a strong concept so I'm looking at photographing plants and interiors/exteriors~
I need to go on more shoots. >___>

I got this recently,

Haven't had too much chance to take it out and shoot things.
Lots of stuff I still need to figure out, lol. It has pretty cool filter things.

Camera360 app for the Android has an HDR effect mode, so tested that out a little at Ueno Castle yesterday during my lunch break..

Left normal, right HDR mode..

Not too bad, but think I'll stick with the Nikon..

Long term goal, but I'm saving up for this bad boy. 8) The Canon 60D

Pretty much wont get it until later this year/early next year. I don't know too much about photography, but I'm taking classes this fall for it. I admit though, the main reason why I'm getting this is because it's an high def video camera with interchangeable lenses, which would help me with my video work. But, I do plan to dab in the photography with it, too, of course. :thumbsup

I forgot to post this here, but instead of getting the 60D I saved myself a couple hundred dollars and got the t3i instead.

I absolutely LOVE it. I haven't had time to use it as much as I'd like, other than stuff for photo class which was my least favourite class due to the professor...

BUT! Here is a fun panorama photo I took a bit ago. I think it was 12 pictures total:

And here is my flickr. Not much is in it, but it'll start to fill up soon. :D

^Very nice :)  Thats actually Canons updated replacement to my camera, the 550D (T2i for those in the US).  It sounds like a very nice camera indeed from the writeups I've seen.  Everything mine has and then some real nice additions on top of that.

The tilt shift screen probably makes me the most envious since those can really be useful for low angle work (which mine doesn't have :().

I noticed earlier in the thread you said you wanted a DSLR for video work.  As an aspiring videographer myself, I'm curious as to what sort of video work you do.
