So, good news and bad news...
The good news is that BBC World News is airing 9 muses of Star Empire under the simple title "Idol" this Saturday.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/n3cst1n0The bad news is that it's not the full 82 minute thing, but a shorter, truncated 45 minute version. Googled and found this translation from Hallyu8, source unknown:
Hello, 9 Muses of Stare Empire fans!
Here we have a news for you. We made a shorter TV reportage style of the film with a different title IDOL and it will be aired this week on BBC World this weekend.
Minch & Films and Style Chosun joint production "IDOL" is a TV documentary about a Korean idol band Nine Muses and the K-pop industry. Unlike 9 Muses of Stare Empire that has been selected for IDFA Music documentary competition, a 45 minutes TV documentary IDOL has more journalistic approach to the subject.
Don't miss it on BBC world this weekend!
Saturday (16th) 09:10, 20:10 and Sunday (17th) 02:10, 15:10 (GMT).
A more "journalistic" approach, whatever that means. Maybe less fluff, more raw? Well, no matter, def intend to watch this version, hope for the full one to appear some day.
