"Rainy Winter Season"
My name is Takahashi Minami and I'm just a normal girl with a normal attitude *I guess... everyday is just a normal day to me here in our school,right now I am walking home in this rainy season here in Japan,it's kind of weird actually!that in the winter season the whole week we felt was just pure rain and the large windy storm, also today is Christmas Eve.Nature sure is weird sometimes.As I walk on my way home I saw a girl soaking wet,she has a shoulder length hair,she is holding not one but two umbrellas! yet she is not using it but just holding it.Her head is looking up straight to the sky,her eyes are closed,both of her hands are widely open and her lips is smiling.It's the first time I saw somebody did this kind of thing in real life,I only saw this on dramas but now I can see it in front of my eyes.I can't help but to ask the short-haired girl on why she is doing that and so I asked her.as she hears my voice she puts both of her hands down and so is her head,as she looks at me suddenly my heart pumped.I have never felt this kind of thing in my life before,her eyes were sparkling,her smile is appealing and her body posture is just beautiful,It's like I saw an angel coming down from heaven.The girl asks on why I called her and so I just said to her "Are you ok?is there anything bothering you?"her face turned clueless by my question and so she said to me with a honest tone of voice "No,I'm just enjoying the rain,wanna join me?"the girl is just so honest that I don't know if she is kidding me or just fooling around.I got all worried on her so I just shared my umbrella with her.As I did that to her I saw her smile once again and I was really happy that I saw that angelic smile once again.As I look back to her face once again, she said something to me,"Thank you for your concern but can you join me in this rain?"she suddenly invited me again to her doings earlier,I thought she was joking but I can see through her eyes that she is serious and so I dropped my umbrella down and as I did that she suddenly holds my hand and drags me along with her.
It's the first time someone did this to me and yet it is the best feeling that I felt so far in my whole life.Even though it's raining so hard it's like everything is so light, the way that I run was so light,My feet were synchronizing with the sound of her footsteps running through the heavy rain. I feel like I'm walking on a cloudy paradise with her but it's kind of weird because I just met this woman that is holding my hand and right now I'm instantly falling for her so quickly.The Rain is still pouring down heavily and finally we stopped running,as I look to the short haired girl I saw her looking at me too while smiling,her smile is indeed so beautiful I can watch this girl's smile everyday if I had too.She suddenly spoke and said to me "Why did you join me?"I got confused to her question and just honestly answered what most of the people I think will answer back by saying "Because you invited me!"not to be rude but that is the truth though!she suddenly laid another smile to her face and said "I see,Thank you."it was short yet full of sweetness as I heard it from her.I ended up blushing and made myself looked embarrassed at her but she just ignored my embarrassed face, suddenly the rain stops and the gloomy clouds were gone, the sun suddenly appeared but it was going to set down.The short-haired girl suddenly talked to me and said "Look at there" she pointed out on such a beautiful scenery,It was the most beautiful thing I saw in my very own eyes, "You know I've been waiting for you."I was shocked by those sudden words of hers, this was the first time I've met her but It made me think twice if I met her somewhere before and so I asked "Have we met before?" as I said those words she just chuckled a bit and made me more curious.She told me the reason on why she questioned that thing to me earlier, She said that she was doing this same thing over and over when it rains,she was waiting for someone to accompany her and she showed me the two umbrellas that I saw earlier,she said that it's not owned by her but by two kind-hearted persons,one was a High School girl and the other one was a High School boy.They also did the same thing when I saw this girl.I lent my umbrella to her and so she did the same procedure again but her invitation to the two were declined.The first one(H.S. girl) said that she is not in the mood for jokes and just gave her the extra umbrella that she has.The second one said that he is in a hurry and just gave his umbrella to the short-haired girl while running to his destination while soaking wet.I asked her on why is she doing this and for how long.She replied by saying "When my mother died."
I was shocked and out of words by the thing she said.I have no idea that she lost her mother and so I apologized to her but she said that I didn't do anything wrong,I asked her if where is her father and she said that she run away from her father because his with another woman.I was really shocked on her lifestyle.who would knew that the girl that I saw earlier smiling through the rain has a sad family background like that?I didn't hesitate but to hold both of her hands tightly and looked at her eyes straightly,she was utterly shocked but I just ignored her and said "Don't worry I'm here for you,I wont leave you no matter what." those words from a person that you meet for the first time is weird but right now I don't care about that I have the feeling that I want to protect her and free from those cage of darkness that she was trapped for so long.Suddenly she leans on my shoulder and cried,she lefts go off my hand and hugs me.I patted her back and said "Everything is ok you just need to let it all out."after I said that she let out a large uproar of crying through my shoulders,her hug was so tight I can hear her heart beating so fast and so is mine.I patted her back to let her pain go away,she suddenly lets go and stared at me,she smiled to me while she is crying,it's sad to look at but in the same time it can still make you smile.I wiped her tears from her cheeks and after i did that she suddenly said "It's so weird right?for us to do this physical interactions at the first time we met."her words made me chuckled and so do her."Hey let's spend Christmas Eve in our home!"I thought that I should invite her to go through our house to spend her Christmas Eve there than to celebrate it alone,she nod on a form of saying yes and so we head straight to my home to celebrate it.As we go to the downhill road she holds my hand all of a sudden and said "I almost forgot!My name is Maeda Atsuko!"as I heard her name my face automatically smiled,maybe it's because her name is good or in the way she introduced it.it's kind of funny though that it's too late for us to introduce with each other."My name is Takahashi Minami,it's nice meeting you Maeda-san!"as she hears my intro. she replied "You can call me Atsuko."her voice was shaky,maybe because she was nervous of saying it,it's kind of cute by the way."Ok then~!but you should call me Minami!"and so as I said those words I saw her beautiful smile once more"Alright Minami~!
Korekaramo...yoroshiku ne!"her sweet and polite words are so good to hear and so I agreed on what she said and as our conversation finishes we held our hands together and walk down the downhill road in this Christmas Eve.Like I said Nature sure is weird sometimes!but in the end you will come back and thank for the things that it did to you.
END~???It's like there should be a part two for this short fic. or something XDD I wonder~ NAH~
