#A Ghost’s Story#
Beautiful cherry blossoms, it’s always the same. I’ve been here for two years… in this tree, enjoying all views at this school, wandering the city, and… watching this girl’s doing. I can’t reach her, can’t talk to her, and can’t even be seen.
Yes. I am a ghost, a wandering soul... I died by an accident two years ago, exactly at the first day for entering the same high school as her. I’m even haven’t meet her. Pity, don’t I?
And this girl… She’s my childhood friend. Best friend I ever had. She’s my first friend. Her parents often come to orphanage – the reformatory to help us people and that’s when I met her.
Flashback in childhood time
It’s not my fault for being a new comer. But I can’t get along with the others, all I can do is cry and cry... Yeah… I am such a crybaby. Thanks for my parents vulgarity, make me end up here and being not able to talk like normal kid have. I’m in fear to talk. Each words came from my mouth will get a slap.
There’s a light came through the darkness… It’s her who changed me… Her warm eyes, her cheerful laugh, her kindness, and a bond… bond of our friendship.
We play together, fight together, and so many many things we’ve done together. Until one day, she fell down from the hill. I tried to save her but indeed of fallen together downward the hill. In the end, we’re both saved by adults. But she was unconscious for several days.

I hate myself for not being able to save her. It was my fault for being weakly, the one who fell should be me. She called my name again and again. She called me to save her, but I’m failed.
I am too spoiled by her. She’s stronger than me and always fights for me when I’m being bullied. And when she’s in danger, I can’t save her. I can’t do anything. I am really unforgiveable… I feel ashamed for myself… Seeing her lying at hospital make me don’t know what to do.
Finally, she woke up. And guess what? What she said? And those words make me wanna die.
She opened her eyes, sit up for a while and face me… which standing beside her. She said, “Who are you?”
I am really shock about this. This is a joke right? How can she say something like this. Is she mad of me? Before I can say anything, she said, “Do you know me? Can you tell me who I am?”
What? I can’t believe it. She remembered nothing!? God, please don’t make fun of me!
Tears burst out from my eyes, I ran away… I can’t believe it, why did she ask something like that? Her expression is cold, Her eyes reflect nothing. I know I shouldn’t befriend with anyone. I am cursed. I always bring bad omen to anyone that kind to me. I know I deserve this. I deserve to live alone… all alone… Then what purpose I am live on? I just lost my friend… I am lost again…

A Ghost’s Story
Chapter 1 – Unbelievable Meeting

Maybe I am cursed? I always bring bad omen to them who care about me. I wish I can die and now I really die. Live in this misery… as a wondering soul who got no direction…
Flashback
The days after her parents bring her home, I got new parents. That person is my uncle. My uncle came to pick me. They know I am abandoned by my parents. His wife was so nice and gentle, same as my new sister. They all treat me really good, just like their own children. How many days I’ve been in this warm family? I want to stay just like this but I am not happy. I’ll bring bad omen to them, so I decide to run away at night.
That night was a stormy night. I was about to leave and how coincidental, they’re just back from the party. I was stand there in front of the door. They saw me, they’re waving hands at me, smiling at me, then I hear a sound, I saw a truck sliding toward us. The truck crashed the car and not stopping yet. My new parents died in front of my eyes, I am freeze from what I saw. I brought bad omen to them. I was a cursed child. I deserve to die. I don’t want to move from my place, I wanna get crashed by the truck too.
The truck stopped. All I can hear is the sound of the raindrop. I open my eyes and saw the truck which is just an inch before me. My heart is bleeding, screaming, “Why don’t you crash me!!! Damn truck, WHY DON’T YOU JUST CRASH ME!!!!!”
That night, I cry out loud. I keep hitting the truck with my fist. My sister came out and dragged me back, asked me if I am okay, asked me for what happened. I cry out loud, “Dad, Mom, crashed…” I keep trying not to cry. I know what my sister feel now. She was freeze, just like me before. I saw tears coming from her eyes. She hugged me tightly. That night really was a stormy night.
Time passed away. I am now in second year of high school. I don’t have any friend. I want to keep distance with everyone. Even at home, I acted cold to my sister. I know she’s hurt, but I don’t want anything bad happened to her. I’ll always keep distance with everyone until the time’s come.
At the opening ceremony, I saw her. She wore the same uniform as mine. So, she was one year younger than me. Yes, she is my first friend. I can tell she is. Her eyes are same as before. I can feel some kind of warm in those eyes. I wonder if she got her memories back, if she remembered who I am, if she can recognize who I am. I want to be her friend again… No, I must keep my distance far far from her. I don’t want anything bad happened again.
At the end, I end up following her. I want to know where she lives. How’s she going? How are her parents? I’m curious on everything about her. I just want to know…
That day, she went to bookstore before going home. She accidentally dropped her student card. I pick it up and ran toward her. She was across the road. I walk over and suddenly a car came with high speed and I got crashed. That is the end of my life…
Flashbacks End
I am a ghost now. Neither going heaven nor hell, wandering around... I’ve been following her for two years. I really enjoy this two years. I talked to her day and night although she can’t hear me, but I feel happy. You know, we ghost can’t touch anything, can’t grab anything, especially human. When I try to touch her, I ended up got shock all over, I felt some kind of electric wave running inside me and it’s painful. I wonder if she wore some kind of amulet or charm that against ghost.
Today as usual, I follow her to the school. Yes, she is now in senior year of high school. After classes are over, she went to the library. She is in library club. Her schedule is checking and relocating the books every Thursday. It’s 3 p.m. now… students are going home. Some of them did not put back the books and let it on the table. She went to clean up the table and put the books to its right place. The place is high enough that makes her need to climb the ladder.
KREEKKK
I hear the sound from the ladder. It is unstable and shaking a bit. I try to hold it but I can’t touch it.
“Acchan! Hurry comes down. Don’t climb anymore higher” I panicky yell at her and of course she can’t hear me. I don’t know what should I do and just keep calling her name.
KREEKKK
The ladder is making sound again, and it cracks. “AHHHH!” She startled and fell down.
I automatically went to catch her. God, please. Just once, I want to save her... don’t let her get hurt.
BRAAKKK
“Ouchh…”
At that moment, just a few seconds… I feel like I can touch her. She landed on my body? Or I should say she landed on my soul? The fact is she landed on me and didn’t get hurt. We both sat up and looked at each other. “Are you okay?” she approaches me and reaches her hand to me.
I nodded, “I’m okay. What about you? Anywhere hurt?” Wait a minute… she can see me? I was surprised and somehow happy. I ask her once again to make sure, “You can see me?”
She giggled at me, “What a weird question, of course I can see you. Thanks for saving me” she reaches out her hands to help me get up. But when she’s trying to hold my arm, her hands touch nothing. She blinks her eyes several times and look confuse.
My heart beats faster. I am like having a heart attack in this moment. Does ghost have heart too? Haha... I am happy that she can see me in this moment but I also afraid if she finds out the fact that I am a ghost. I want to move but my body won’t move. Oh, please. What happened to me?
I see her coming closer and reach her hand to touch my face. She is touching me, not really. She is touching the air. Her hand goes through me and touches nothing but the air. She is waving her hands towards me rapidly and shocked. She steps back and covers her face with hands. I can see her expression which tells me that she didn’t believe at what she is getting on.
“GHOOOSSSTTTT!!!” she cried and then faint on the ground. Her hands hit the ladder and cause the ladder moved a bit. It touched a book beside it and causing a bunch of books fall and hit Acchan’s head, covers her face.
“Acchan!” I went to put the book away from her and of course I can touch nothing but the air. My hands transparent going through and can’t touch anything.
I blame myself for going to near by her. I shouldn’t get near to her. I will only bring bad omen to anyone near me. Even I am a ghost now, I still bring bad omen to people. I want to cry but no one hear me, I want to bang my head to the wall but I just went through it. I want to die but I can’t die anymore. What did I do? Why did this happen to me?
“How stupid are you!” a voice came out from my behind.

A Ghost’s Story
Chapter 2 – Ghost Friend

I am so happy today. I got new friend, my first ghost friend. She is the second friend I got after Acchan. It’s funny to know that she shared the same name as mine, Minami. My name is Takahashi Minami, and my new friend’s name is Minegishi Minami, I call her Mii-chan. She’s been ghost for three years in this school. Today, she teaches me how to lift up things. She said that even if we can’t touch anything but we can lift up things by our concentration.
Flashback
“How stupid are you!”
I turned back and saw a girl about the same age as me. She is wearing school uniform with dark blue sweater. Her hair is black and long, she has big eyes and buckteeth… almost like gachapin. She approaches me, stand beside me and raise her hands toward those books which cover Acchan’s face.
“Let me help you a little”
Within seconds, the books fly away to its ordinary place.
“Acchan!” I approach her and try to pull her up. As I try to grab her arm, I got shocked and felt electric wave all over my body. The girl pulled me away from Acchan and hit my head.
“Do you wanna die? Don’t you know we ghost is forbid to touch human!” she scold me. “If you touch human, you will get electric shocks all over your body and your soul will vanish little by little and… shruussshh… you will vanish forever.”
“I know… I know we can’t touch human but I just wanna to help her” I look at her with teary eyes, “I just want to lift her up and put her to somewhere safe. What if the books fall again and hit her again?”
She moved her index finger then a book flying toward me and hit my head, “Tsk… don’t look at me with those eyes” she complained. “Step back, let me show you my strength”
She raised both her hands and looks concentrate to where Acchan was. I’m waiting patiently behind her and look carefully. Acchan’s body is being lift up from the ground and move. She place Acchan’s body carefully on the chair.
I am amaze by her strength… I want to learn this so that I can protect Acchan, “How did you do that? Teach me! Teach me!” I asked.
“Say, how many years have you been ghost?” she asked back.
“Umm… about two years…”
I saw she face palmed and raised her eyebrows, “You’ve been ghost for two years but don’t know how to lift up things?” I nodded and she sighed.
“Please~” I beg her and give her teary eyes look.
“On one condition…” she paused a while and give me an annoyed eyes. “Let’s be friends” she said it with a wink.
I am so happy to hear that. For many years I restrict myself from society and be a loner. No one dare to approach me and talking to me. That’s the same when I’m a ghost… I wondering around but no one approach me. I guess I have to open up a bit since I am a ghost now…
“Thank you!” I hug her tight and she keep push me away. This is my first ghost friend.

After minutes of learning I put all the books to its right place. Mii-chan leaved after I got used how to lift up objects. Acchan is still unconscious on the chair. Not long after I heard someone step into the library. He is tall and good looking, he is wearing glasses and has a mature charisma. I saw he went to where Acchan is and touch her face.
“Hey! How dare you touch my Acchan!”
I fly and stop behind Acchan and keep scolding him. Of course he can’t hear me, but I can’t control myself and keep bubbling, scolding him behind Acchan. I raise my hands towards him and concentrate to push him away from Acchan and nothing happen. “DAMN!”
“Atsuko? Atsuko?” He is calling Acchan and gives her a gentle slap to wake her up.
Acchan open her eyes slowly and looked confuse. That person leaned in and caressing Acchan’s cheek. “Are you okay?”
“Hey! You are too close! Too close!” wait… Acchan is blushing? I saw Acchan blushed… so cute… but I HATE IT! I hate it when Acchan is blushing because of others person! (pT^T)q Acchan~ Is this what they called jealous? Am I jealous? Why am I get jealous over my friend?
He lifts up Acchan in bridal style and went out from the library, “You’re so weak. Let me send you home.”
“Sorry for troubling you, Shinoda sensei” Acchan answer shyly.
Flashback End

Maeda Apartment
“Thank you, Shinoda sensei” Acchan thanks to him for sending her home.
“No problem. See you tomorrow”
Acchan stayed in front of her house and looking at Shinoda’s car till it disappear from her sight. “Shinoda sensei is so kakooiii” she is smiling by herself and went inside the house. I follow her inside her house as usual. I am used to following her around like a puppy inside her house. But today, I better distance myself so that she won’t see me. I am so annoyed to see that Shinoda can make Acchan blushing, he must be a bad guy! bad guy!
“Tadaima~” she paused as she opened the door and found it is dark inside the house. She moved her shoes and turn on the light. A note can bee seen on the table in living room, it was from her parents. They said that they’re going to a party and will be home late. Acchan reluctantly throw her school bag on the sofa and went to kitchen, finding something to eat.
To think about it, I’ve been wondering around her for two years and she can’t see me. But why she can see me this afternoon? Actually I am very happy that she can see me but I am sad too. The expression when she saw me this afternoon… I saw how she scared of seeing me.
“Instant noodle~ instant noodle~” Acchan was searching instant noodle on the kitchen shelf above her. I saw her hand accidentally hit the bottle above her when she’s trying to find instant noodle, caused the bottle fell from its place.
“Watch out! Above!” I tried to warn her and she seems can hear me. She lifts up her head to see a bottle fall right on her face. She closed her eyes to receive the pain but nothing happen. I use my concentration and keep the bottle still in the air, just an inch from her face.
She jaw dropped to see me, her body is trembling and I can saw fear in her eyes. “You… are you the ghost from before?”
“I am sorry! I didn’t mean to scare you. I just…” I quickly put away the bottle and bow at her. I don’t want to scare her anymore so I decide to leave “I’m leaving now”
“Wait!” she come closer to me. “Thanks for saving me twice today” she smiled at me.
Oh… her smile is so cute… “It’s nothing… I just happen to pass by there” I lied, the truth is I always follow where you go. “Are you not scared of me? I am a ghost”
She shakes her head, “I was scared the first time when I saw you… because I never see ghost before. I thought ghost is fierce and scary but you are so kind. Hope we can meet again” she smiled at me again.
She is smiling at me again~ I feel like I’m melting… she said she hope we can meet again? Does it mean she want to be friend with me? I am so happy...
“My name is Takahashi Minami. Just call me if you have trouble and I’ll be there for you”
“Why are you so kind to me?” she confused.
So, she really lost her childhood memories. She even forgot my name. I force myself to smile at her, “I wanna be friend with you…”
“………………….”
We stayed in silent for a while until she began to move closer to me and give me a warm smile.
“It is obvious that I have a ghost friend. But I don’t mind it, let's be friends. My name is Maeda Atsuko, you can call me Acchan”

Chapter 3 – Try to Remember

Classroom
“Ah… I forget to bring my homework…” Acchan is searching for her book in her bag.
“Acchan, what are you doing?” a brunette named Itano Tomomi approach Acchan. She is her best friend in this school, they always together.
“Tomochin, I forget to bring my homework.” Acchan puts her bag on the table desperately and sit down.
Tomomi raises her eyebrows in confuse, “Isn’t your homework is here?” she pointing the book on Acchan’s table.
“Eh? It isn’t here before…” Acchan looks around the classroom and found me sitting on the table in front of the blackboard. Yes, the truth is when Acchan looks trouble in finding her homework, I fly back to her house and bring her homework here. I hope no one saw the book flying in the air. Hahah…
She simply smiling at me and pretend she didn’t see me. How many days have past? I don’t know… I didn’t count it. Being with her… I really enjoy these days that she can see me, talking with me, and I can help her. Little by little… our distance becomes closer and closer. I can accompany her all day if she wants. Since the class has started, I will go to find my another friend - Mii-chan. I'll come back to accompany Acchan when her class is over.

Today as usual, I will go to library to find Mii-chan since the class has started. To tell you, I am curious at how Mii-chan died and why she is wandering in this school. When I ask about it, she just smiles weird while saying “How I die? It’s something silly and embarrassing. I don’t wanna remember it…” and she will go away or talking some other topics to avoid this question. What I know is she always wandering all rooms in this school like she is finding something or someone? But she will never let me know.
“I FOUND YOU!” I heard Mii-chan shouting over someone in the corridor from the building across us. I turn back and saw Acchan and Shinoda sensei walking together in the corridor. She is helping Shinoda carrying some papers. Mii-chan’s soul is full with angry aura around her. She raised her hands and aimed where Shinoda was.
“Shinoda Mario! Whatever how you change your looks neither if you turn into ashes, I will never forget you… finally, I found you… I can take my revenge now!” Mii-chan is throwing the skeleton from the room near them toward Shinoda.
“Mii-chan! No! You can’t harm human! You will attract shinigami to come here and snatch you into hell!” I gain my concentration to prevent the skeleton hit Shinoda.
Human have human rules, ghost have ghost rules too that we are forbid to human. We can’t touch human, we can’t harm human, we can’t have any relationship with human. Actually being seen by human is also forbid… but I didn’t care since shinigami (Death God) didn’t come to arrest me.
I’m success to prevent the skeleton from hitting Shinoda. Unfortunately the skeleton hit Acchan’s back and make her fall. I hurriedly fly across the building to where they are. I saw Shinoda grab Acchan’s arm to prevent her fall backward. But he step on the skeleton and slipped, he falls forward and land on Acchan.
I was like having a heart attack in that moment. I just freeze at there watching the scene… that… Shinoda kissed Acchan… on the lips! WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED HERE?!!!!! I was so blank and freeze at my spot, don’t know what to do… my mind is screaming of wanting to kill this Shinoda.
“I’m sorry…” Shinoda gets up and apologizes to Acchan.
Acchan just nodded and run away from him. I saw she is blushing hard. She runs and runs and went into a class room and locked the door. I follow her and went inside to that room.
“Aahhhhh!” she screams a bit louder when she saw me. “Minami, you’re scaring me. At least knock the door first before you came in”
“I’m sorry, but I am a ghost… I can’t knock the door.”
“I’m sorry… I forgot that you are a ghost. Sorry” she laid her back at the door.
“It’s alright…” I just stay at my spot and waiting for her to say something.
“You saw it?” she paused and touched her burning face, “the kiss…” she continues, “Actually, I have crush on him… since the first time I saw him in school opening ceremony. He is really charismatic and cool sensei among the others. He is also gentle and caring. He often ask me to help him doing some paperwork, I wonder if he also has the same feeling toward me. Do you think I should confess to him?”
I’m sorry Acchan, I can’t hear this anymore. I don’t like him, I don’t like him being around you.
I saw an old dusted piano laid in the centre of this room. I went and sat on the dusted chair and start playing the piano. It’s a tune that I like… I learn it in from a sister in orphanage. She is a gentle person and always smiling at me even I always show bad attitudes on her.
I felt Acchan walks closer to me. She stopped beside me and listening to the tune I’m playing. I heard her murmured something, “This tune… is so familiar…”
My mouth formed a smile to hear it. I look directly into her eyes and whisper something in my heart.
Try to remember, Acchan… try to remember me… so that I can rest in peace…

At the same time in the corridor
Mii-chan is so angry about that Shinoda and tries to attack him again. She makes the skeleton stands and talking with her voice. “Mari-kun… Don’t you recognize me?”
“Who… who are you?” Shinoda is scared and steps back from the skeleton. “How can I recognize you since you are already a skeleton”
“Don’t you recognize my voice?!” Mii-chan asked angrily.
“Who are you? Why have I done to you, Ms. Skeleton? Don’t scare me like this?”
“What have you done?! You are the one who killed me! You murder! I will keep pestering you until you remember who I am! From tomorrow, you will have a series of unlucky things happen! Muahahahahahaha…. Muahahahahaha….”
Mii-chan left with her laugh echoing along the corridor

Chapter 4 – Dreams or Memories X Naughty Skeleton

“Hiks… hiks… mama, where are you?”
A little black-haired girl is walking and sobbing along the corridor. This is her first day visiting a orphanage with her parents. She was distracted by a butterfly and chasing for it, don’t realize how far she went, she got lost back at the garden.
(sound of piano playing)
Hearing the sounds of piano inside a room beside her, she wiped her tears and took a peek. Inside it was a ponytail-haired girl playing a beautiful tune. She opened the door slowly try not to disturb the other girl’s playing. She went closer and closer and sat at the chair behind the other girl, enjoying the tune she is playing.
Few minutes past, and the girl finished playing the piano. The black-haired girl claps her hands as a compliment but it shocked the ponytail-haired girl. The girl turns to face her then she runs away to the exit. The black-haired girl is afraid of being alone and chasing her. They’re running along the corridor in the back garden.
“Wait for me! I don’t want to be alone!” the black-haired girl shouting.
The ponytail-haired girl raised her pace and ignored the other girl behind her.
“Aghhh…” the black-haired girl sprained her ankle and fell on the ground “Hiks… my leg hurts”
The ponytail-haired girl stopped running and turn to look at the girl behind her. Looking at the girl’s pain expression, she run back to where the girl was, “Can you walk?”
Black-haired girl wipes her tears and try to stand up. It really hurt that she can’t keep her balance and began to fall. The other girl reaches to hold her. Without saying anything, she turns her back towards the girl and carrying her on her back.
“Eh? You don’t have to piggy back me. I… can walk…” black-haired girl feel embarrassing to be carrying by the girl who was shorter than her. But the girl didn’t say a word and keep walking.
“Aren’t I heavy?” black-haired girl asked, and receive the same treatment… silent…
After walking for sometime, black-haired girl is trying to start a topic again, “My name is Maeda Atsuko, just call me Acchan. What is yours?”
The girl still didn’t say a word and keep walking. Walking and walking, she finally stopped in front of a room. She put down Acchan and supports her to stand steadily. She took out a handkerchief and wrapped it around Acchan’s ankle. “It’ll be better” the ponytail-haired girl finally spoke.
Suddenly the door beside her opened, Acchan’s parents and the orphanage’s owner walk out from the room. “Acchan! Where have you been?” her mother saw her ankle wrapped by handkerchief. “Are you got hurt?”
Atsuko lifts up her arms to ask for a hug from her mother. She hugs her tightly, “I’m sorry, I was lost on the way chasing for a butterfly” She leaned back and give her mother puppy eyes to beg for forgiveness, “I sprained my leg while running. She carried me along the way here”. Acchan pointed the ponytail-haired girl.
The ponytail-haired girl bowed to them and then run away without saying a word.
“Wait! Can I know your name?” Acchan’s calling.

// Finally, the sun rises. I am sitting on Acchan’s balcony. For you to know, before she can see me, I always sat beside her and watch her sleeping… but know it’ll be weird if she knows. She’ll think that I am weird or something pervert, to watch her sleeping. From the day she saw me, I always spend the night at the balcony without her knowing.// Minami is smiling by herself.
“Wait…!” Acchan's screaming.
Minami heard Acchan’s screaming and hurriedly went inside her room to see what happen. // She is still laying on her bed, I guess maybe she is having a bad dream.//
“What a weird dream…” Acchan rub her eyes and sits up from her bed. Her face is pouting, trying to recall the dream she had. Their face is just an inch away when she sat up. Her eyes become wider when she saw Minnami.
“KYAA!” she throws Minami with her pillow and of course the pillow went through her and hit the wall.
Minami hurriedly distance herself from Acchan, “I’m sorry… I heard you screaming then I come in then you wake up… I didn’t mean to scare you like that”
// Baka Minami.// she scolded herself.
Knock Knock
“Acchan! What happen?” Acchan’s mother is asking her outside the room.
“Umm… Nothing, Mom. It’s just…it’s just… a cockroach flying above me!” Acchan excuses.
“Cockcroach…?!” Minami made an annoyed face towards Acchan. She just simply stuck out her tongue and tilts her head a bit.
Acchan gets up from her bed and stretches her arms, “I’ll go down after changed my clothes, Mom”
She went to the closet and took out her school uniform. “Umm… Minami, could you please go out for a while? I want to change my clothes.”
“O…OKAY! I’ll be waiting in your classroom…” Feels embarrassing, Minami immediately fly out from the window.
Acchan is blinking her eyes several times, “Her face is glowing red… is she blushing?”
She paused for a while in front of her mirror, thinking about the name of the kid in her dream.
Is it my memories or it just a dream? Why can’t I remember her name?

In the School
The school is normal as usual, except one place…
The usual calm and silent library has become a war arena today…
Shinoda Mario, 26 years old is a charismatic librarian who’s working in this school. Start from yesterday, he is pestering by an annoying skeleton. It will go everywhere he goes and making trouble here and there.
Flashback
“Mii-chan, what are you doing behind this skeleton?” asked Minami.
“Because he can’t see me, I’ll use this skeleton to pestering him until he remembers who I am” Mii-chan smirked mischievously.
“Is he really the one who killed you?”
Mii-chan stared at Minami and nodded, “Absolutely”
“Then I must distract Acchan from him…” Minami is thinking seriously. “But how did he kill you?”
Mii-chan just walk away with the skeleton and ignoring Minami’s question.
Flashback End
“Stop following me!” Shinoda scolded at the skeleton (or Miichan) behind him.
The skeleton begins dancing and jumping behind Shinoda, “I’ll keep pestering you~ pestering you~” she throws all the books which is just arranged by Shinoda.
“Stop doing that!” he picks up the books and put it back again.
Kakakakakakka (sounds of gnashing teeth)
“Stop gnashing your teeth! That’s annoying me!” Shinoda shouts.
Kakakakakakka (sounds of gnashing teeth)
“Arghh…! I can’t concentrate in my work!” he grabbed a ruler and attacked the skeleton. “You’ve reached my limit! I don’t afraid of you!”
Mii-chan is so aggressive in controlling the skeleton and dodges every attack from Shinoda. He stabs the ruler at the skeleton and went through the hole in ribs. Seeing no movements from the skeleton, he grinned and saws the rib with the ruler.
“B-A-K-A” Mii-chan laughed at Shinoda’s stupid action and launched skeleton’s hand to slap him.
Shinoda dodged it and stepped backward. He threw the ruler at the skeleton and stabbed its eye. Mii-chan tilt her head and smiled, making the skeleton tilt its head too and touch the ruler. He runs and launches his kick directly at the skeleton’s head. The skeleton’s head separate from its body and rolling on the floor.
“My head~” Mii-chan acts like she is really the skeleton and runs to chase its head which is rolling on the floor. She picks up the head and put it back, “Stinky Mario! I hate you!” she runs dramatically with the skeleton toward the window and jumps down.
“Hey!” Shinoda chase for it but it’s too late. The skeleton crushed on the ground “Stupid skeleton!” watching at the skeleton below, something flashes into his head.
Stinky Mario! I hate you!
“Stinky Mario…no one has called me that anymore…” a small smile forms in his face.
“Wait… it can’t be… is it… Mii-chan?!!!”

At the same time
Minami arrive at the school and found Mii-chan jumps down from above… with the skeleton…
“Mii-chan!!!” Minami kneel beside Mii-chan who is laying on the ground beside the crushed skeleton. “Mii-chan! Don’t die”
Mii-chan let out a heavy sigh and gets up, “Minami, I already died… years ago…”

Chapter 5 – Silly Dead

In the Library
Shinoda picked up the bones and restructure it in the library. He carefully sticks all the bones together thinking that it was her childhood friend – Minegishi Minami. Finally, he put the skull on top and completed the skeleton structure. He patted the skull and whispered, “Mii-chan…”
“You remember me…?” Mii-chan asked.
“I never forget you” Shinoda face the skeleton and apologize, “I’m sorry…”
Mii-chan was silent to hear it. She doesn’t expect Shinoda to say sorry to her.
“Mii-chan…”
“……………”
“How can you become a skeleton?” still no answer from Mii-chan, he starts to joke, “Is it because you didn’t eat sweets for years after you die?”
Indeed, that words start Mii-chan's anger, “Stinky Mario! Jerk! Murderer!” Mii-chan throws the table lamp against Shinoda. He just closed his eyes and prepared to receive the pain but nothing happen. The table lamp is hanging in the air, an inch before him. It’s Minami who stopped it.
“Mii-chan! No harm at human!” Minami try her best to prevent the table lamp from hitting Shinoda.
“I know you must hate me. But what happened is an incident!” Shinoda explains. “I’m really sorry about that…”
“Stinky Mario! I hate you!” Mii-chan yelled. “You made me died at young age!”
Flashback
Me and Minegishi Minami are childhood friends, although we always mocking and mouth-fighting when we see each others. We are neighbors and our parents known each others very well, we grew up together, attend the same school together, and now we are in high school. I always pretend to be like a big brother and ordering her to do what I said and only me who can bully her.
One day, I planned to scare her with the skeleton in biology classroom. That day I sent her a letter said that I’ll treat her many sweets because she likes it very much. As she went to the class and saw a bunch of sweets and cakes on the table, she automatically grabs some and put it into her mouth. Seeing her enjoying the cakes without noticing me around her, I hid behind the skeleton and drag it, sneaking behind her.
“BOOOOOOO”
I saw her frighten face and it really funny… but I didn’t believe that this action caused her to lose her life. She was chocked by the cakes and died.
Flashback End
“Pfftt...Is…is that how you die?!” Minami try her best not to laugh in front of Mii-chan.
“Grr… I KILL YOU!!” Mii-chan makes the skeleton stand up and began attacking Shinoda
All of the sudden, the door opened and a girl walked inside. Mii-chan stopped and the skeleton paused in her attack formation.
“KYAAAA!!” the girl jumped in surprise to see a skeleton inside the library. Hearing the familiar sound, Minami hurriedly fly away and hid behind the bookshelf while Mii-chan is still standing behind the skeleton.
“Ske… le… ton?!” the girl walks in slowly.
“Umm…” Shinoda is trying to find some excuses, “This is my collection. Sorry, if it frightened you, Atsuko.” He moved the skeleton and made it sit on the chair.
“Are you looking for me?” asked Shinoda. As he turn to face Atsuko, Mii-chan kicks his butt which made him slipped and fall forward. Fortunately, he manages to balance himself and stop right in front of Atsuko but their face is very close, she is blushing hard.
// Damn Mii-chan! Gotta deal with you later // Minami is scolding Mii-chan in her thought.
Seeing Atsuko’s face redden, Shinoda place his palm on her forehead. “Are you get cold?”
“I… I…” Atsuko hesitated.
// Is she going to confess?? // Minami’s head went through the bookshelf to hear their conversation closer.
“I really like you sensei!” Atsuko confessed.
// Eh? Isn’t she the one that Minami likes? Don’t you dare to reply her feeling, Mario // Mii-chan calms herself and keep quiet to not scare Atsuko.
“Eh?” With a gentleman smile, Shinoda patted her head, “I like you too”
Atsuko’s face is glittering in happiness, “Really…?”
At the same time, Minami feels like her soul is broken into pieces.
“Yeah, I like everyone here. The teachers, headmaster, students, and this library” Shinoda continue. Hearing that, Atsuko’s glowing face dimmed out.
“Am I being rejected?”
Shinoda raise her chin and make her face him, “Thank you for your feelings toward me. But I have someone I loved” he said while looking at the skeleton.
// Is he looking at me just now? // Mii-chan’s thought.
Atsuko try her best not to cry in front of Shinoda, “I’m sorry to disturb you, please excuse me” she bowed at Shinoda and run toward the exit.
“Acchan?!” Minami fly through the wall to follow her.

Chapter 6 – Vanishing Soul

“Thank you for your feelings toward me. But I have someone I loved”
I am being rejected

Music Classroom
Atsuko runs into the music classroom again and cry in there. This is the first time she confesses to someone. It feels really embarrassing to be rejected, “I shouldn’t have confessed to him”
“Acchan? Can I go in?” Minami asked. Hear no answer from Atsuko, she just walks through the wall.
“Minami…” Atsuko moved forward to hug Minami and ended up went through her and falling.
(She always forget that Minami is ghost)
“Acchan!” Minami brave herself to grab Atsuko’s arm.
Before Atsuko fall to the ground, Minami manage to grab her arm and pulls her into a hug. They stay like that for minutes. Atsuko buried her face in Minami’s shoulder and hug her tightly. Unknown to her, Minami is in pain, she is now torturing by the electric wave inside her.
“Minami, can you play the piano for me again? I like that tune.” Atsuko asked. When Atsuko opened her eyes, she saw Minami’s shoulder went blend, transparent like it was vanishing. She hurriedly parted herself from Minami.
“Minami? Are you okay?” Atsuko saw Minami’s face in pain.
“I’m okay” Minami answered with a weak voice. She went to the piano and start playing the tune. Atsuko followed her and stand beside her, listening to the melody.
As the tune playing, Atsuko recalls the dream she had. The days between her and a girl, but she couldn’t remember the girl’s name, she couldn’t remember the girl’s face, the only thing that clears in her head is a bracelet… a beautiful bracelet.
Knock Knock
“Atsuko?” asked a brunette while walking in the room. Minami stopped the piano immediately. The brunette walks around the room like looking for someone. “Atsuko, who is with you just now?”
“Haha… What are you saying, Tomochin. I’m all alone here” Atsuko lied
“But I heard the piano playing. Don’t tell me you’re meeting with your secret boyfriend?” Tomochin teased.
“It was me… playing the piano” Atsuko lied.
“You lied… You never played before, you can’t fool me” Tomochin seeking around the corner and even the closet hoping to catch the person she thought is meeting with Atsuko secretly.
“Acchan, Acchan” Minami whispers, “Just sit on the chair, I’ll guide you to play the piano”
Atsuko does what Minami said. She sat on the chair and put her fingers on the piano key. Minami stands behind Atsuko and put her hands on top of Atsuko’s, guiding her to play the tune. Atsuko blushes at how close they are now and enjoying the rhythm.
// What is this feeling? My heart is beating fast? // Atsuko can’t concentrate on the piano when she feel the scent of Minami. // Her scent is familiar…//
She turn her attention to Minami’s hands and saw them become transparent again just like before. She immediately moves her hands away from hers. “Minami…?”
CLAP CLAP
“Wow, since when you can play the piano that well. I’m impressed” Tomochin interrupted.
RINNNNGGG (Bell’s ringing)
“Ah…Lunch time is over. Let’s back to classroom now” Tomochin clinging in Atsuko’s arm and drags her to the door.
Minami follows them behind and whisper something to Acchan, “I’m sorry Acchan, today I can’t walk you home”
Atsuko turn her head to ask why but found no one behind her. This is the first time she left Atsuko without her asking. // What is this feeling? My chest felt tight… Minami… //

Back into the library
“You touch her too long! Are you really wanna disappear?” Mii-chan scolded at Minami.
“…………” Minami has no strength to fight Mii-chan. She just relaxes herself in silent.
“I see… ghost is forbid to touch human…” Shinoda stopped on his working paper and turn to face the skeleton, “So that mean, you can’t harm me?” he smirked.
“Yes, I can’t harm you directly but I can harm you in many other ways, like… using this skeleton!” Miichan controlled the skeleton to give a slap on Shinoda’s head.
“How many times I said, Don’t hit my head!” Shinoda complained.
“Did you count how many times you hit my head when I’m still alive?” Mii-chan asked.
“If I can see you, I’m sure you’ll dead for twice” Shinoda murmured slowly.
“What are you saying?! Say it louder!” Mii-chan commanded.
Shinoda quickly made up to shift the topic, “I just wondering, why Atsuko can see her but I can’t see you?”
“Hmm… I don’t know too… human is definitely can’t see ghost… and because of that, I use the skeleton to communicate with you” Mii-chan made the skeleton in thinking position with its hand put under its chin, “Maybe they two have some special bond?”
“Hooooaaammmm… working time is over, I’m going home now. I leave this library in your care.” Shinoda packs his belonging and ready to go. Before he leave, he place a peck on the skeleton’s forehead, “See you tomorrow, Mii-chan”
This time Mii-chan’s whole soul is glowing red. She feels lucky that Shinoda can’t see her or he is going to tease her over and over again. After Shinoda left the room, Mii-chan flies inside the library like crazy.
“Don’t get soooo excited over your boyfriend. I’m still here~” Minami wakes up from her rest.
“So embarrassing~” Forgot that Minami is still weak, Mii-chan hit her hardly on her back that makes Minami flying far away to nowhere.
“Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh”
“Minami?!” Mii-chan immediately chases for Minami.

Somewhere on the road
“Takahashi Minami… I believe she is still wandering in this town” said a person in black hooded clothes.
“We must get her in no time” another person appeared from the shadow. She is wearing the same black hooded clothes and taller than the first one.

Chapter 7 – Memories X Shinigami X Cupid ?

Atsuko House
“Atsuko, can you bring me the toolkit from storeroom?” Atsuko’s mother asked.
“Okay, mom” she went to the storeroom to get the toolkit.
---------------
“Ah… the storeroom is so dark” Atsuko flicked the switch but the light won’t turn on. “Sigh… I guess I have to search the toolkit in the dark”
Atsuko walked inside carefully searching for the toolkit. Suddenly her foot kicked on something, she bend down and saw a small carton box with some letters written on it. She picked it up and try to read it under the shimmer light coming from window.
“Maeda Atsuko precious treasures…” Atsuko paused at the moment and looks for more handwriting on the box, “… treasures with ….”
The words are blurred and hard to read. She gives up on reading it and opened the box. Inside it were some old letters and a colorful crystal bracelet. Atsuko took it out from the box to see it clearly. The glittering color from the bracelet under the shimmer sunlight is so beautiful. She was mesmerized by the color of the bracelet and spacing out.
A rat running across Atsuko’s leg and makes her scream. She was startled and bumped the closet behind her, unintentionally dropped the bracelet on the floor and the crystals were scattered on the floor. Unknown for her a box on the closet is moving unbalance. The box fell and hit Atsuko’s head when she bends down to pick the bracelet. She fell unconscious on the floor.
Flashback
“Go away!” little Atsuko throws the stones against five other kids who is bullying the ponytail-haired girl.
“Cih.. The rich kid is here, let’s play in other place” said the leader and they left.
Bruises over her face and her ponytail become messy. Her cloth is dusty and full of sand. The little Atsuko running to the other, “Are you okay?”
The girl gets up and picks her shoes, runs away from Atsuko. They’re running far away from the orphanage, up to the hill. Atsuko is calling the girl to wait for her but the girl keep running away from her.
“Wait for m– WAAAHHHH” Atsuko slipped and fell. The pony-tailed girl stopped running and watching Atsuko.
Atsuko is also watching at her and waiting the girl to approach. They are having a glaring contest now. Unable to hold her eyes from blinking, Atsuko winked at the girl making the girl blinking several times and turn down her head to hide her blushing face.
“Mou~ come here and help me up” Atsuko said playfully. But the girl still stayed in her spot. Atsuko sighed and decided to get up. When she is about to walk, the bracelet on her hand hook on a branch caused the crystal dropped one by one.
“Ah… my bracelet!” Atsuko hurriedly picks the crystal from the ground. Her eyes become teary, “I’m sorry… I broke the bracelet you gave me…”
The pony-tailed girl came to help, “It’s okay”
After done collecting the pieces of crystal, they sat under the cherry blossom to fix the bracelet. Atsuko tried over and over again but the crystal won’t stick together. “I’m really sorry… I ruin the bracelet you gave me”
Pony-tailed girl simply smile and takes the bracelet from Atsuko, “Only me who can fix it”
Minutes passed, smiles form again on Atsuko’s face. The girl fixed the bracelet and put it on Atsuko’s hand. “You can call me whenever you have to fix it again”
Atsuko holds the girl’s hand and walk back to the orphanage together. Unknown to them, this moment is the last for them. As they walk down from the hill, a strong wind blows hard caused the branch at the cherry blossom tree fall down. The pony-tailed girl covers Atsuko with her own body to prevent Atsuko being hit by the branch. Atsuko knew it and pushed the girl away.
“Acchan!” the girl cried.
Atsuko’s head is hit by the branch and her body is rolling down from the hill. The girl rushes onto Atsuko and hug her tightly to prevent Atsuko’s body to get wounded.
“Acchan! Are you alright?” the girl is crying. Her face is wet and her tears falling to Atsuko’s forehead.
Atsuko wiped her tears and smile, “I’m happy. This is the first time you call my name. I like it…” and then she faint.
The pony-tailed girl carried Atsuko on her back and run back to the orphanage with all her might. As they arrive at the orphanage, all the people only concern for Atsuko. They didn’t notice that pony-tailed girl also wounded. Her body full of bruises and scratches. No one care for her except Atsuko, she is calling her name over and over again in her unconscious form.
Flashback End
“MINAMI!!!!!!”
“Acchan, I’m here. Are you alright? Anywhere hurt?” Minami concerns about Atsuko. “I’m sorry for coming late. When I get here, I saw you being hit by the box and fainted”
“Ughhh… I’m alright, just a bit dizzy…” Atsuko touch her head. “The bracelet!” she remembered the bracelet she dropped and search for it.
“What kind of bracelet?” Minami asked.
“A crystal bracelet, a colorful bracelet” Atsuko pressed the floor with her hands to find the bracelet in this dark storeroom.
Minami’s heart hurts when she saw the bracelet that Atsuko mentioned. “Forget it, this room is dark. You can’t find it” Atsuko ignored Minami and keep gathering the pieces of crystal.
“It will only bring bad luck to you” Minami said. // you’ll only get hurt when you touch it //
“Minami… somehow I feel that bracelet is important for me. I know you can see well in the dark. Can you help me please?” Atsuko blinking rapidly to Minami and gives her a pitiful expression. “Please~”
Can’t help it, Minami use her concentration and bring all the scattered crystal in Atsuko’s hand.
“Atsuko? Are you in there?” Atsuko’s mom calling.
“I’m here, mom” answered Atsuko.
“Did you find the toolkit?”
“It’s so dark here, I can’t find it” Atsuko came out from the storeroom.
“It’s okay, I’ll find it myself”
“Then, I’m going back to my room now. Just call me when dinner is ready” Atsuko runs back to her room.

In Atsuko’s room
Two hours passed, Atsuko still can’t stick the crystal together. “Ah…. This is sooo hard…” she landed back and rested her back on chair.
Looking at the stress out Atsuko, Minami approach her and lifted up the crystal to repair it. Within 10 minutes she successfully sticks the crystal together and forms back as the colorful bracelet. Atsuko amazed with Minami, “Sugoi~”
Minami grinning proudly at her, “Only me who can fix it”

Minami placed the bracelet on Atsuko's hand, "You can call me whenever you have to fix it"

Hearing those words from Minami’s mouth, Atsuko’s head hurt a bit. // Those words… so familiar… why is my head hurt so much… //
“Acchan, are you okay?” Minami asked worriedly.
“Minami, my head often hurts lately” Atsuko picks up the bracelet and watch it closely, “Lately, I always dreams of a girl. This girl always appear in my dreams and those dreams feels so real, but no matter how hard I try to remember her name… I can’t…”
// Acchan, try to remember me so that I can rest in peace //

Outside the road near Atsuko house
“Let’s get her now” the taller girl in black hood ready to fly into the house.
“Nyaan nyaan! Not now!” the shorter girl hugs her, prevent her to get into the house.
“Let me go! Stupid cupid Yuko, I have no time!” she struggles against the cupid, Yuko. “If I don’t get her back, I will be expelled from my shinigami position”
“We still have time, can’t you let them cherish this moment?” Yuko pleaded.
“Whose fault is it that made me pursuing her?” the shinigami pouted.
“I’m sorry…” the cupid is clinging on the shinigami and showing her big puppy eyes.
“Let go of me!!” the shinigami threw the cupid far away up to the sky.
“Nyaaaaannnnn nyaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnn~”

Currently Mii-chan is hanged up in the air and looks painful by the curses from shinigami. In front of her, Haruna the shinigami and Yuko the cupid were interrogating her.
“Where is she?” asked the Haruna.
“I don’t know” Mii-chan denied.
“Please tell us where she is” Yuko begged.
“No! You will take her away. I won’t tell you”
Haruna moved her fingers in some movements while recite the curses, makes Mii-chan growl in pain. Yuko approached Haruna and pressed her mouth with hands to stop Haruna reciting the curse. “Please tell us where she is or she’ll gonna die for sure” Yuko begged at Mii-chan.
“What do you mean?” Mii-chan asked.

At the same time on the school’s roof
Minami is possessed in the crystal bracelet on Atsuko’s hand to avoid the shinigami found her.
Flashback
“Minami! You must leave here soon, shinigami are going to take you away” Mii-chan yelled at her.
“What? Shinigami?” asked Minami.
“Yes, yesterday I saw them following you. I heard them saying that they must get you back in no time” Mii-chan explained.
The door opened, Atsuko came inside her room with confuse expression, “Minami, who are you talking with?”
“Hello, I am Mii-chan. Minami’s ghost friend” Mii-chan introduce herself in front of Atsuko, but she can’t see her.
“Umm… sorry, can you show yourself? I can’t see you” Atsuko is looking around her room.
“It’s normal that you can’t see me. Anyway, Minami is going to leave for a while”
Atsuko turn to face Minami, “You are going to leave here?”
// Somehow I feels incredibly sad hearing that. It was like I don’t want her to leave me… again? //
“No, I won’t leave” Minami answered.
“You are crazy! Shinigami are coming over you” Mii-chan scolds her.
Atsuko can’t believe what she heard, “Is that true, Minami?”
“I won’t leave” Minami said firmly.
// Before you remember me, I won’t leave… //
“Why are you so stubborn?!” Mii-chan flying around the room in circle, “There must be a way to hide from shinigami…” as she flying around inside the room, something sparkling catches her attention. It was Atsuko’s crystal bracelet. Mii-chan uses her concentration to lift up Atsuko’s left hand.
“Crystal! Shinigami can’t approach crystal” she then approach Minami, “You can possess in that crystal bracelet, so that shinigami will lost her tracks on you”
Flashback End
“What are you thinking, Atsuko?” asked Minami.
“My life is fun since I met you. Before I met you, my life is simple and kinda boring to have routine things repeating days by days. And then I met you in the library, you always bringing the homework books which I left at home, helps me peeking the answer in exam, tricks my mother and father at home… You even teach me how to play the piano” Atsuko smiles in happiness, “I am so lucky to meet you”
“Me too, thanks to become my friend”
“Ne, Minami… somehow I feel that you resemble that little girl in my dreams”
Suddenly the sky become dark, sun is hidden behind the clouds. Haruna in black robe appeared behind Atsuko. “Give Minami’s soul to me” she said with scary voice. (please imagine Torigoya in berserk form)
“KYAAAAAAAA” Atsuko surprised by the appearance and stepped back. Her foot tripped by the rope next to her, she lost her balance and fell backward over the fence, falling down from the roof. As she falling downward, many scenes pop up in her brain… her long lost memories. Everything flashback right before her eyes.
“It must be you who hurt her. You’re jealous of Atsuko and harm her” people yelling at Minami.
“Minami… don’t go…”I watches the little pony-tailed Minami leave with tears
“Acchan” the little pony-tailed Minami is calling me
“This is my treasure. Can you keep it for me?” Minami gave me a crystal bracelet
“Minami…” she is introducing herself at me with redden face
“Wanna learn to play piano?” she is smiling at me
At the last scene, Atsuko shed her tears.
“Minami-chan~ I like you” Atsuko place a peck on Minami’s cheek
“…………” Minami flustered and freeze
“Say you like me” Atsuko commanded
“…………” Minami turn her back and run away from Atsuko
“Minami-chan~ say you like me” Atsuko chased her and grab her sleeve, hugging Minami tightly
“I… I LIKE YOU” Minami was screaming with her loudest voice makes Atsuko jumped out of surprise. She let go her hands to cover her ears. “Minami, that’s too loud”
The pony-tailed Minami blushing hard and run away…
// To tell you the truth, you are my first friend, Minami… //
“Minami…” Atsuko closed her eyes and relaxed her body.
Minami went out from the bracelet and holds Atsuko’s hands, hanging in the air.
“Ugh…” Minami bear the pain inside her and try to bring Atsuko safely back to the roof.
“Minami, let go…” Atsuko remembered what Mii-chan whispered at her yesterday.
// Ghost will receive pain from electro wave whenever we touch human… You must have seen Minami’s soul vanishing, right? //
“I don’t want you vanish because of me. Let go!”
“I WON’T!!”
Yuko comes out to the roof, “Nyaan!!! Why don’t you save them?” she asked Haruna which just standing there and watch in silent.
“She is wearing crystal, I can’t go near them” Haruna’s face is wet of tears. “Yuko, what should I do?”
“Leave it on me!” Yuko flies to help Minami bring Atsuko back to the roof.
Because of Yuko’s help, Minami and Atsuko managed to land on the roof safely. But there’s something wrong with Minami… her soul is vanishing. Minami forced herself to give her best smile for Atsuko.
“Thanks for remember me, Acchan. Did you know that you are my first friend? My first and forever friend…” she cupped Atsuko’s cheek to feel her warmth once more, “I guess this is the end, goodbye Acchan”
BADUMPP BADUMPP
// What is this feeling? My chest feels hurt // Minami’s body flying on it own in the air
“No! I won’t say goodbye. I just remembered you now. You can’t leave me!” Atsuko pleaded.
Suddenly there’s a burst of light comes from Minami’s chest, it disappears seconds later then appear and disappears again. “What happen to me?”
“Oh no, I’m not gonna make it” Haruna shows her depression and reluctantly kneel on the ground.
“We’ll make it, don’t give up!” Yuko bring Haruna and went to where Minami was.
A sudden light burst out more powerful from Minami’s soul. The light is so bright that they can’t open their eyes. Not long after, the light becomes dimmer and dimmer. Atsuko reopened her eyes just to see an empty space. Minami is gone, shinigami is gone, everyone is gone…
// I will never forget you again, Minami…//

I still want to see how they get over the part where Takamina is a ghost and Atsuko wants to hold her and love her to make up for the lost time and how their having a problem over Takamina being a ghost because Atsuko can't hold her, even though she's there yet at the same time, not that fully.

Chapter 9 – Coming Back

“Minami!!!” Tomochin is crying. She is panicked by the heartbeat detector’s sound. She ran out from ICU room to search for doctors and nurses. Three mysterious figures pop out after Tomochin leave the room. They are cupid Yuko, shinigami Haruna, and the ghost Minami.
“Why are you taking me here?” asked Minami.
“Do you remember the person who just left this room?” asked Yuko.
“My sister, Tomomi. Her parents adopt me but get killed in accident” Minami answered.
“You two live together for years and then you got into accident. Don’t you know how sad she is? She comes here to visit you everyday, you know?” said Yuko.
“Visit me? In hospital?” Minami confused.
“Look at the person on the bed” Haruna said.
Minami walked to the bed and shocked when she saw the person’s face. The person shares the same face with Minami. No… or should I say that the person is Minami. She grabbed Haruna’s shirt and shouting at her, “Why… why am I here? Why am I laying on that bed?!”
Flashback
“Harunyaan~” the cupid – Yuko called. “Let’s have a date today~”
“What are you doing here?” asked Haruna. “I don’t remember I have a date with you”
“You are so cruel, Nyaan nyaan…” said Yuko as she took off Haruna’s hood.
“Don’t call me with the word ‘nyaan’!!” she growled.
“You were a cute kitty before, this is common to add nyaan in your name” Yuko protested.
“I am shinigami now! A higher level than demon.” She tightened her grip on Yuko’s wing and threw Yuko away from her.
There’re two person get in the emergency room. Both of them are in critical state from accident. Haruna stood at the corner and watching her watch, waiting for the time to take that person’s life.
“It’s time for me to take your soul” Haruna smirked at one of the accident victim. She began to recite the spell readily to launch at the victim.
“Harunyaan, why don’t you love me? You always snuggle into my embrace and let me pats your head when you were cat before. Why did you become cold like this to me?” Yuko is mumbling in the corner then something comes in her mind. She gets up and smirking at Haruna.
“What will happen if I shoot my love arrow at her? Will her came back to me?” Yuko grins crazily and aiming her arrow on Haruna.
Just when Haruna is going to take the person’s soul, Yuko shot her arrow. Haruna moved to prevent the arrow getting her. Unfortunately, her spell fell on the wrong person. That person’s soul came out from his body. Haruna quickly opened her ‘Life and Death’ Book to check the person’s live.
“Takahashi Minami, born on April 8th 1991, die on MM DD YYYY…she still have many years to live, I have to put the soul into the body”
“Harunyaan…” Yuko called.
“Did you know? You make me capture the wrong soul!!!” Haruna scolded. She turned to face the soul but it was gone, “Eh?! Where’s the soul?”
“I saw the soul flying away by itself out from the window and disappeared” Yuko said.
“WHAT?!” Haruna panicked. She grabbed Yuko, throws her up and gives her a special meteor kick on the butt, making her fly far away through the window. “FIND THE SOUL IMMEDIATELY!!!”
“Nyaaaaaaaaannn!!” Yuko’s voice echoed in the air.
Haruna sighed and put something inside Minami’s mouth. “This will keep your state in coma mode for a while. I have to find her soul as soon as possible”
Flashback Ends
“Did you mean that I’m still alive?” asked Minami.
“Yes. You are alive, you just stay in coma mode for two years” answered Haruna. “I’m sorry about this, because I am still a beginner shinigami, I took the whole two years to find you” Haruna explained.
“I am alive… I am alive…” Minami is still surprise from Haruna’s explanation. Suddenly her heart feels terribly pain, she feels like she is lack of oxygen. “AAAAArghhhhh……”
“Your soul has moved from your body too long. If you don’t get in immediately, you’ll vanish for real. Stay relax, I’ll put your soul back in your body” Haruna said.
Minami relax herself and her soul is floating in the air. Before Haruna recite her spell, she glanced at Yuko, “Yuko, can you get out from this room now?”
“Why?” asked Yuko.
“To prevent you from disturbing me again…” Haruna smiled sweetly at Yuko. All of the sudden she grabbed Yuko and ready in her pitcher position and throws Yuko far away through the window.
“Nyaaaaaaannnnn!” Yuko’s voice is echoing in the air.
“I can concentrate now. Let’s begin” she recite the spell on Minami.

The next weeks after Minami awake from her two years coma.
“HOW CAN I SEE HER IN THIS FORM??!!!” Minami screamed.

Chapter 10 – Sweet Bitter Memories

Atsuko POV
The lively library becomes extremely quiet without Mii-chan. She is taken by shinigami to be reborn in her next life. Shinoda-sensei has quit his job in this school, he is now open a small cake shop in the city. Open a cake shop is Mii-chan whishes when she was kid, she want to let everyone eat delicious cakes everyday and she also can eat cakes everyday. Shinoda-sensei wants to continue Mii-chan’s wishes, he wants to let every child and people enjoy delicious cakes just like what Mii-chan does.
It’s been months since Minami gone. I always visit the library everyday, always take a walk to the bookshelf where I met her first time… in her ghost mode. Chuckle, that day I was really shocked to be saved by a ghost. That is precious first meeting with the ghost Minami… I still remember…
I regain my childhood memories… the memories with you. I remember that you are shy and always hiding from me, always make me chasing for you. I remember our first meeting, is in the piano room. I was lost in back garden and heard you playing piano. At the end of the day, you piggyback me with your small body to where my parents are.
Because I often sick since I was born, my parents forbid me to play with others, they are always take cares of me and maids always sticks with me but I always run away from them. I like chasing on you, I like your red face, your shy attitude, it always attracting me to get closer to you. I am glad that my parent took me for a tour to your place because of their charity project. We were only five when I have my sight on you… you are my first friend…
Flashback#1
[“Minami…” she is introducing herself at me with redden face] [“Wanna learn to play piano?” she is smiling at me]
“I’m searching for you!”
I tap Minami’s back. She is frightened and fall down from the chair. She just sat there, pouting, and rubbing her butt, didn’t say anything. I went to help her stand up, cleaning her pants and bring her back to the piano.
“Play that tune again, I like it, I want you play that again” I begged her with my best smile on my face.
She just stands there and staring at me without any expressions then without any words she went to play the piano. The view of her back while playing piano is attracting. After standing for a while, my legs are sore. I went to sit beside her and watching her fingers move elegantly on those black and white piano tuts.
“Ne, can I know your name?” I asked and she replied with silent.
“I told you my name. It’s not fair if you don’t tell me yours” I pouted.
“I didn’t ask for your name” she answered shortly.
“Even so, you already know my name. I have to know yours!” I start pulling her arm, clinging at her, joggling “Just tell me what’s your name~”
“Since when you start playing this?” I asked again and she replied with silent again. Feeling pissed, I grab her hands to stop her from playing the piano. “Do you dislike me?”
She removed her hands and put them on top of mine, “Wanna learn to play piano?”
Her fingers are guiding mine to move on those tuts. Not long after, we ended up playing those tuts randomly, I try to press her hands, she moved then try to press my hands. The whole room is filled with the noise from piano. Finally my hands grabbed by her, her hands are strong, her grip is so tight that I can’t get away from her. We stopped playing the piano and laughing at each others.
“Minami…” she is introducing herself at me with redden face.
“Minami… beautiful name, I like it” I smiled at her. It’s really fun to be around her but this moment won’t last long. My maids found me and bring me back to where my parents are. She barged in and pushed you away from me.
“Stay away from Miss Atsuko, you’re just an filthy orphan. Don’t think about getting closer to her”
“Miss Atsuko, she will hurt you. Stay away from her. She is a rebellious kid from bad family background”

Flashback#2
[“This is my treasure. Can you keep it for me?” Minami gave me a crystal bracelet]
I am playing in the garden with a ball accompanies me. I bounced the ball repeatedly to the ground. Feels bored and pissed, I throw the ball up into the sky. It flies exceed the big tree a few feet from me and accidentally hit someone. I heard a voice crying because got hit by my ball. I immediately run into that direction and saw Minami is bearing the pain and rubs her head while digging the soil next to that tree.
“What are you digging?” I pop out behind the tree. As usual, she will just keep silent. She keeps digging carefully with her mini pink spade and then something shiny can be seen from the ground, it was glamorous in its rainbow colors. I joined to dig that thing out quicker but she gently pushed my hands away.
“This is dirty. I am dirty. Go away” she shoved me away. I pick some soil from the ground, stained it on my face and my clothes.
“I am dirty now. Let’s dig it. I want to know what you are digging for” She was dazed there unmoving by my action. I pick some soil again and stained it on her face. “Don’t stare at me like that. I will like you~”
She just nodded and continues digging. It was a crystal bracelet, beautiful crystal bracelet shining under the sunset. Her face is full of happiness seeing at that bracelet. She is smiling while cleaning the bracelet with her sleeve. I guess this thing is very important for her. And again, maids come in the very wrong moment and I hate it. They pushed Minami away from me and insulting her again. They took her bracelet and throw it away toward the mud pond near us.
“HUWAAA!! THAT IS MY BRACELET!!!” I pretend to cry and lied at them.
If I said that is my bracelet then those bad maids will definitely find it for me. They are now crazily jumped into the mud pond to find that bracelet. I winked at Minami and told her don’t worry, they’ll find it back. I know she is angry, I can see it through her face. She is giving me a glare and walks away. I hold her hand tightly and fight her gaze on me. I felt guilt for making her sad and angry, looking at her expression makes me wanna cry. A tear drops on my face, this time I am crying for real.
“Miss Atsuko, I found it” one of the maids gave me the bracelet.
“You all are dirty. Get change first before you escort me!” I took the bracelet and shush them away.
Making sure that they are all gone, I apologize at Minami and handed her the bracelet, “I’m sorry about them. Here your bracelet” unable to face her, I turn back and run away from her.
“Oi…” this little pony-tailed girl called me. This is the first time she called me but I am mad at what she called me.
“I have name, Atsuko. Not ‘Oi’” I shouted at her. She stopped next to me but not looking at me. But I can tell that she is blushing, her face is red.
“This is my treasure. Can you keep it for me?” she handed me the bracelet. “I don’t want them to throw it again” she let go of my hands and whisper a goodbye before she walked away.
I run after her and jump on her back, hug her from behind, giving her a peck at her cheek, “Let’s play again tomorrow”
“Miss Atsuko!” the maids are calling.
“I gotta go now, see ya~”

[“I… I LIKE YOU” Minami was screaming with her loudest voice]
The orphanage where Minami lives is sure big. There were many empty rooms which still haven’t been used. Atsuko and Minami are hiding in one of the room.
“This is exciting~!” I throw my fist on the air as a sign of victory. We just escape from the maids like playing hide and seek with them. Minami holds my hand and runs all the way.
“This is exhausted, I never run crazy like this” she leaned her back on the wall, still holding my hand. Her long ponytail reminded me of the fairy tales I read yesterday. I touched her ponytail gently. She looked at me confusedly.
“Your ponytail resembles the fairy tale princess I read yesterday, beautiful” I explain.
“Pr…princess…?!” she seems surprised by my words. “No way I can be a princess!”
“Not princess? You want to be a prince?” I saw she is blushing and try to hide it, but I’m gonna tease her now. “But your hair is long, a prince is someone with short hair”
“I can’t cut my hair. My mother told me once that my ancestor has a rule said that every single child in generations is forbid to cut their hair until they were 18.” She explained seriously to me, looks like she really want to have short hair.
“Ne, Minami. my hair is short” I grinned at her, “I be the prince and you are princess~”
“Eh?!” she shakes her head several times. I cupped her face with both hands to stop her. Seeing her face redden again, I can’t stop myself from teasing her.
“Minami-chan~ I like you~” I place a peck on her cheek.
“……………….” She flustered and freeze.
“Say you like me” I commanded.
“…………” Minami turn her back and run away from me.
“Minami-chan~ say you like me” I chased her and grabbed her sleeve, hugging her tightly.
“I… I LIKE YOU” Minami was screaming with her loudest voice makes Atsuko jumped out of surprise. She let go her hands to cover her ears. “Minami, that’s too loud”
The pony-tailed Minami blushing hard and runs away again. I want to chase her but my chest felt tight, I can’t catch my breath, my asthma is attacking me again. I search my medicine in pockets but can’t find it. I fell down on the floor and grabs my chest, I feel terrible… “Minami…”
“Oi!” Minami came back to get me. She is crying right now, is it because of me? She picked me up and carrying me in piggyback, running along the corridors to get me into the nurse room.
“Minami, just put me in front of the door. Don’t bring me inside, they will blame you.” She shakes her head and crying. I don’t want Minami get scold again by adults. I know she will always get scold whenever she near me. The nurse room is now a feet from us.
“Minami, if they saw you, we can’t play together again. Just leave me in front the door and hide before they see you” I begged.
She put me in front of the door and knocked the door. Before she go, she said something that makes my heart hurts more than I am now, “Let’s not meet again. You always get hurt when you near me and I always get scold when I near you.”
Since this day, she doesn’t want to see me again…

Flashback#4
(This flashback is the same as the flashback explained in Chapter Seven… I just add and reduce some words)
[“Minami… don’t go…”I watches the little pony-tailed Minami leave with tears]
It’s been days Minami hiding from me. I can’t find her anywhere. I am going back to my home tomorrow at least why can’t you let me say a farewell to you. I decide to take a walk at the small hill behind the orphanage territory. Once I got there, I saw Minami is being bullied by others children. They took off her shoes and threw it, punching and kicking her.
“Go away!” I throw the stones against those kids who are bullying my Minami.
“Cih.. The rich kid is here, let’s play in other place” said the leader and they left.
Bruises over her face and her ponytail become messy. Her cloth is dusty and full of sand. I run immediately to her, “Are you okay?”
She gets up and picks her shoes, runs away from me again. “Why are you running from me again? Stop right there, I want to tell you something! Wait for m– WAAAHHHH” I slipped and fell.
Minami stopped running and turn back to look at me. I also watching at her and waiting her to approach. We are like having a glaring contest now. Unable to hold my eyes from blinking, I winked at her making her blinking several times and turn down her head to hide her blushing face.
“Mou~ come here and help me up” I said playfully. But she still stayed in her spot. I gave up and decided to get up by myself. When I about to walk, the bracelet on my hand hook on a branch caused the crystal dropped one by one.
“Ah… my bracelet!” I hurriedly pick the crystal from the ground. To see the broken crystal rolling one by one far from me, I don’t know what to do but cry, “I’m sorry… I broke the bracelet you gave me…”
“It’s okay” she came to help me picking up those crystal.
After done collecting the pieces of crystal, we sat under the cherry blossom to fix the bracelet. Atsuko tried over and over again but the crystal won’t stick together. “I’m really sorry… I ruin the bracelet you gave me”
She simply smiles and takes the bracelet from me, “Only me who can fix it”
Minutes passed and I can see her smiling proudly on her face. She fixed the bracelet perfectly and put it on my hand. “You can call me to fix this bracelet if you ruin it again”
I hold her hand and walk back to the orphanage together. As we walk down from the hill, a strong wind blows hard caused the branch at the cherry blossom tree fall down. That huge branch is falling right on top of me, she covers me with her own body to prevent me being hit by the branch. I knew it and pushed her away.
“Acchan!” the girl cried.
My head got hit by the branch and my body is rolling down from the hill. She rushes onto me and embrace me safely in her arms to prevent my body to get wounded while falling down from the hill.
“Acchan! Are you alright?” she is crying. Her face is wet and her tears falling to my forehead.
I wiped her tears and smile, “I’m happy. This is the first time you call my name. I like it…” my vision went to all black.
When I opened my eyes again, I am being carried by Minami. She keeps calling my name and crying. Her head is bleeding, her neck is scratched. I want to call her name but my body feels so weak. She head to the nurse room and put me down on the bed. All the adults there pushed her away again. I can hear a loud thud.
“’Please save her! She got hit by branch on her head!” Minami is shouting at them.
One of the adults there slapped her and hit her. They didn’t care for her wounds and hit her without hold back. I want to call her name, I want to tell her to run away. Don’t stay here, she will only get scold and hit.
“Mi…na…mi”
She heard my voice, she struggled and dashed through those adults and came to me, holding my hands and calling my name. Those adults pulled her away and throw her out of this room. My parents come in to see me, I don’t want them mistake at Minami.
“Minami… save me…” I try to tell my parents, “She…save…me…”

Flashbacks End
I am crying again alone in this library. Memories being with you are full of sweet and bitter. Being with you is exciting yet my heart gets painful, so sweet yet slightly bitter. My memories lost because of that hit but I am thankful, because of this I can meet you again. Thanks for bringing back my precious memories. But I hate you too! You are gone too soon! Blame to that shinigami too, for taking away my Minami too soon.
“Ah~ I miss you, Minami~”
♪~♪~♫~♫~♪~♫~♪~~ (Piano playing)
“This tune… Minami??!” I immediately run out from the library toward the music room.
Minami, is that you? Is that you playing the piano? You’re not gone? I miss you, I really want to see you, Minami…

Chapter 11 – END -- Welcome Back

Flashback
I am awake in the hospital, surrounding by many person. Tomochin, my sister is sitting next to me. There’s an old man standing next to my sister and many person in black suit standing in front of me.
“Minami! You’re awake?!” Tomochin is wiping her tears and smiling at me.
“You finally awake” said the old man who is next to her. “Doctor, how is my grandson? When can I have him discharged?”
I saw the doctor was held by two men and looks scared, “He… his physic is all fine… he can discharge anytime…”
The old man signaling the men to let go the doctor and ordered one of them to handle the registration for discharging me. Then he left the room with Tomochin. The others men held me up and bring me out from the room.
“Hey! Who are you? Where are you taking me on??!!!” I struggled against them.

Takahashi Mansion
I am kidnapped into this big mansion and being forced to change into this traditional hakama by those black suit men. Now, I am heading to the main hall with Tomochin beside me. I wonder who are those guys and how did my sister knows them. Their appearance is fierce and cold. All of them are wearing black suit and black sunglasses, no one show a smile on their face. We are heading to that old man who is sitting on the sofa, holding a glass of wine.
“Tomochin, what’s going on here? Who are they” I whispered to her.
“That old man there is our grandpa. His driver is the one who hit you” she explained.
“WHAT?!” I almost shouted.
“He is the one who told me that you got accident. When he saw me and know that you are uncle Takahashi’s son he killed that driver in instant.”
I am trembling to hear that. This grandpa is so cruel, I wonder why he brought me here, “Are they bad guys?” I asked.
Tomochin giggled on me, “You abandoned by your parents when you were five no wonder you don’t know your own family business” we stopped talking once we got near this old man who is my grandpa?
“You are Minami, right?” he asked.
“Un…” I simply nodded.
“Here, come here. Don’t be afraid.” He leaded me to sit oppose to him while Tomochin sits next to me.
“Your looks resemble your mother, small and cute… not like your muscular dad.” He is laughing at me and Tomochin joined him. Then he continued, “It must be painful that your parents left you and send you into an orphanage. You must be hated by all the people there. I know they’re no good parents but don’t hate them.”
“I don’t hate them” I answered sincerely, “Although they’re being cruel to me but they are my parents. I’m glad that I was born”
“Let’s talk about it later, I have very important announcement for you” he stands up and walk to the center of the hall. All the men in black suit line up neatly in front of him. Tomochin pushed me to stop next to him. He put his arm on my shoulder and cleared his throat first before announcing something shocked me…
“This is young master Minami. He’ll be the next successor of this family. Be sure you take care of him precisely” my grandpa announced.
“Welcome back, young master. Yoroshiku onegaishimasu!” All of them kneeled down and bowed at me.
“That’s cool, isn’t it? The successor of the strongest Yakuza family, young master Minami” Tomochin whispered behind me. I was shocked… my vision is blur… I fainted.
What’s going on me??!!!!

The next day
I told my sister the days I went through in orphanage and how I become a ghost to meet my precious friend. What a coincidence here, she told me that she is bestfriend with Acchan and she is willingly to arrange an appointment for me.
“Are you going to meet her today?” Tomochin asked.
“Yes, I really miss her. I want to tell her that I’m still alive” I smiled widely.
Suddenly one of the subordinate appeared from nowhere and shout out in his loudest voice.
“Young master Minami is going to meet his girlfriend!! Ready in your position!!” Not long after, there’re many subordinate appeared and looking at my direction.
I got a bad feeling…
In flash seconds, I got in my room… my clothes changed into traditional black hakama with a katana in my hand. One of them said, “Your appearance is best. You can have your date now, good luck young master!”
“What is this? How can I meet her with this form?! This is ridiculous!!” I immediately throw the sword away and took off my hakama.
“You fool!” the subordinate hits the other’s head, “Let me help you, young master.”
Within flash seconds, I changed into Yankee style school uniform with a very long red trousers and a very long red wardrobe with many words written on it (imagine Sata-san appearance). I jaw dropped to see my appearance in front of the mirror.
“GET OUT!!!” I shouted at them.
“You have no taste of fashion at all. Let me help you, young master”
“No! I am more fashionable then him. Let me help you, young master”
“No! Let me!”
“Me!”
“Me!”
“Me!”
I facepalmed to saw they’re fighting against each others, taking this opportunity I grab some clothes randomly form my closet and run away from them. I get change immediately in the restroom downstairs and get out from this mansion as soon as possible. Once I passed the gate, a car stopped before me. Tomochin lower the window and smiled at me, “Hurry up~”
Flashback End
Like what Tomochin said, she will bring Acchan here to see me so I wait her in this music room. I’m getting nervous all the time. I’m going to meet her in my human form. I wonder what will she react… will she rushes on me and hugs me tightly and calling my name again and again?
(Minami is hugging herself and imagine Acchan’s face)
“What makes Tomochin so long?” Feeling bored of waiting, I decide to play the piano… I’m playing my favorite tune… the one that Acchan likes. I heard some foot steps approaching then the door is opened.
“Minami!!” I heard Acchan is calling me.
I turned to face her and approached her slowly but her face shows a disappointed face on me, “Ah, sorry. I thought you are my friend. Sorry for disturbing you” she apologized and tend to leave this room. I automatically grab her arm, stopping her from leaving.
“Acchan, it’s me Minami. I just have a hair cut and you don’t recognize me?” I gave her a broken heart expression.
“Mi…Minami?!!!” Atsuko confused. "Your face resembles her..." She takes a look on my face and looks disbelief. She walks around me in circle and stopped right in front of me, placing both her hands on my chest.
“Flat…” Atsuko confirmed.
I can feel another electric shocks direct on my heart and my face is burning, “Stop touching my body…”
“Are you really Minami? I mean… Minami is a... girl” Atsuko doubt.
“EH?!!” Since when I told you I’m a girl?” I shocked.
“……………” There’s silent filled the room for minute.
“Don’t tell me… you think that I am a girl from the beginning???” I asked to confirm it.
Atsuko nodded. “You should be a girl! Small and weak body, shy characters, long ponytail… all fit as a girl!” she still don’t believe that I am actually a guy.
I gave myself a face palm, “I never told you that I’m a girl. Besides, I told you that I have to keep my long hair because some family rules”

“When you ask me to be princess, didn’t I tell you that I can never be a princess, remember?” I said.

“Pr…princess…?!” she seems surprised by my words. “No way I can be a princess!”
“It seems logical…” Atsuko agreed. She paused there thinking for a while and blushed madly. “That mean… all this time you are a boy… and I hugged you… and… ki… kissed you before…???!!!!”

“Are you human or ghost now?” asked Atsuko.
I smiled and pulled her into my embrace, “Can you feel me? Can you feel my warm?” I tighten my embrace, “I come back alive… as a human”
Atsuko drop tears of happiness. She buried her face on my shoulder and held me tightly. We stayed like this for a while until she decides to ask, “How can you come back as human?” she asked curiously.
“Actually I’m not dead, just having coma in hospital. I thought I was dead.” Minami laughed and continue, “The day when I disappeared, actually it was the shinigami took me back to the hospital and explained to me what exactly happened. The culprit it her pervert cupid, she said.”
“Eh? That’s unbelievable” she parted from me and laughed, “You always get bad luck all the time, aren’t you?”
I shake my head disapproving, “Nope. I feel I am lucky because I met you. Even though I was separate from you in childhood time, I can finally meet you again in my ghost form and because of that you regain your memories. I am lucky~”
She gently hit my chest, “Since when you become such a sweet talker?”
“I have something to tell you, Acchan” I hold her hands and looking at her eyes deeply, “I am from a Yakuza family but you’re from an elite family… you won’t looking down on me, right? Can we…” I paused for a while to take a breath, “We are still friends, right?”
Somehow, I can see the disappointed expression from her face. She pouted and walked away from me, “I’m sorry… we can’t be friends anymore…”
My heart felt so hurt hearing those words come out from her mouth. This feeling is more painful than the electric waves I got in my ghost form. I want to cry but I can’t… I am grown up now, I can’t cry so easily like a kid. I force myself to smile at her. Maybe this is my fate… I am grateful to meet you… I am grateful to have a friend like you… once…
“I understand…” I bend my head looking at the floor, try to hide my sadness. I guess I can only bid a good bye to her, “Good bye, Ac––”
As I lift up my head, I feel a pair of soft things on my lips. I saw her face is sooooo close to me. I was freeze there, my brain is trying to process what happened. She wraps her arms around my neck and kisses me… SHE KISSES ME???!!! My heart is racing so fast that it would pop out from my body… my blood is boiling… I can feel it rushes to my head and I can feel some fireworks on my head. She parted away and smiling at me. Her smile is always so bright to me but this time she is blushing too. her face is so cute to me.
“We can’t be friends anymore because I want you to be my lover~” she attached her forehead on mine, “Welcome back, Minami”

“Minami, I can’t find where Atsuko is––” Tomochin opened the door and saw the lovey dovey lover staring at each others like there’s no tomorrow. “Ooopps” She silently closed the door. Smirking at herself, she took out a lock and locked the door.

“Awww… such a lovey dovey moment~” Yuko is flying around the music room while Haruna is sitting on top of the piano.
“Hurry up and shoot your arrow. I have another task to complete” said Haruna impatiently.
Yuko landed before Haruna and took out her special arrow, “This is my latest experiment~ super duper love love arrow” she is grinning crazily at Haruna then prepare her arrow, aiming at Atsuko. She launched the arrow and hit directly on Atsuko’s heart. Both of them are waiting patiently for the reaction.
“Yeah… and it will only be another failure experiment again~” Haruna mocked at her.
Suddenly Atsuko’s behavior is changing. Her gaze becomes so seductively toward Minami, “Minami~” she attached her body in very dangerous distance to Minami.
“Ac…Acchan?” Minami gulp and stepped back.
“Minami~ I felt something hit my heart…” Atsuko keep approaching Minami.
Minami keeps step backward until his back touched the door, “Acchan…?” He gulps, feeling the dangerous aura from Atsuko. He knows this must be something connected with the pervert cupid, he hurriedly opens the door but it won’t open…
“Ac–” unable to finish his word, Minami is kissed by Atsuko… deeply… passionately… and wildly…
Yuko is grinning widely and crazily at herself // This experiment is a success!!! // She slowly attached the arrow on her bow and turn to shoot her gorgeous shinigami.
SHOT
Haruna is losing her guard as she saw what happened to Atsuko and she got shot by Yuko. She is looking at the arrow on her heart which is slowly disappears. “YUUKOOOO!!!”
Haruna is mad at Yuko and chasing her, “Eh? Why is it not working on Nyaan nyaan?!” Yuko hurriedly runs away from Haruna but still ended up catch by Haruna. Her little wings are grabbed by Haruna and being pulled to the ground.
“Forgive me!!!” Yuko begged.
“You should take the responsible on me~” The shinigami pinched her down and stayed on top of her, she leaned down dangerously to the poor cupid, licking her necks and bare shoulder. “Itadakimasu…”

The whole story made me feel a lot feelings... Fluffy heart when two kids met each other and were having cute and sweet moments. Then laughing and rolling on the floor at KojiYuu moments... :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:
God, Yuko never fails to amuse me, she never disappointed me even once. She's soooo funny... And I'm so glad in the end the arrow worked, hehe. Yuko will have her QUALITY time with Haruna, though it's more like Haruna will have her payback time. :kekeke: :wahaha: :onionwhip:
And you know, I really didn't expect Minami to be a man all along... But I liked it, it makes the story more interesting. And yap, I didn't catch the signs, *welcome to the not-noticers club, says Acchan to sakura_drop_* *sakura_drop_ get shot*
Anyway, I loved Tomochin here. She was the perfect sister, the one I'd love to have.. Well, who wouldn't..? :shy2: :shy2: :shy2:

Yay, I'm so glad that you finished the story! I LOVE the ending (made me laugh so hard I almost spit out my water). It was so unexpected. I didn't even see it coming.
Now, looking back, it makes sense. I mean, I've always wondered why people picked on Minami... now I understand that little boys would definitely pick on another boy with long hair.

I found out that I missed some explanations for Taka-ghost XD
Because Takamina's Yakuza family rules is must have a long ponytail...
Takamina is still have "his" ponytail before he dead...
But it was cut because he had to do operation after the incident...
But still, 'he' still have long hair as a ghost :on polter:
