So Mari, Miki, and Mai were on a recent Downtown DXDX special. Nothing interesting happened with Mai, but Mari and Miki-sama both made it onto the "Kissable" poll that they had. Poor Mari ranked as Number#01........UN-Kissable.

(I know, whoever they polled must be out of their freekin' minds)

Anyway, screencaps needs translation plox.

Aight, I've mentioned the QUIZ: HEXAGON show here before. Well, a few days ago they aired a special extended episode where they did the whole shoot in Okinawa (I think). Mari and Mai were amongst the guests, as was Shouji Tomoharu (aka "possibly the luckiest bastage on earth b/c he's now engaged to Miki-sama). Anyway, in one of the games they played, the male guests were asked trivia questions, and when they got one right, they were to ask one of the female guests out on a DATE!

Inevitably, Shouji gets a question correct, which means he has to ask someone on a date. Now pretty much everyone on the show here knows about Shouji and Miki-sama, and have taken numerous chances to rib/tease him about it. Nice to see how Shouji plays along here.

I don't know who says it, but somebody says Morning Affair.

So Shoji says it seems that he likes Morning Musume.

Mari burns him saying that she treasures Mikitty (Their friendship, etc).

The last bit just congratulates them on their engagement.

The bit that sounds like "morning wakki"? That would be Fujimon (aka Fujimoto-san from the comedy duo "FUJIWARA"); he's the dude still in the stands with the yellow shirt and towel over his head. No relation, AFAIK, to Miki-sama.

He's a big MM wota (Charmy-fan)...as is shown by THIS vid...

I'm asking around because I don't speak Japanese, but I love watching Hexagon.

When the men are asking the ladies for a date, are the answers the girls give predetermined, or is it just up to the girl if she wants to go out with the guy. It seems weird who picks who.

Given the reactions from everyone when it was happening, I'd find it hard to believe that it was pre-determined. Most of the guests are not trained actors, so if they were acting, it would be more "obvious" that it was set up, IMO.
