After graduation she doesn't have to care about her weight so much ...it must have been painful to be on a diet always. And it's probably much earier to be in university than being a part of H!P. So she'll be probably happier person. Good luck to Konkon teddy bear.:)

i agree. now she's free to do and eat pretty much whatever she wants, and not be weighed down 24/7 with the pressures of being an idol, and there's no doubt she's really happy now.
i'm sure she'll have a good future out of H!P, she's a smart girl and she's obviously thought about this 'graduation' for a long time already. it's evident in her final PB, she seems happier and less stressed.
Konno, we all love you and will miss you beyond words. no longer will we see you and your funny and cute antics on Hello!Morning, your always amazing photobooks, performing your best at concerts, or just being you; but you'll never be forgotten. thank you for entertaining us and warming our hearts all these years. best of luck to you :heart:

Okay, I understand that Konkon is no longer part of Morning Musume or H!P, but she was part of it, and now on the H!P official site, if you look at artist list, her name has been erased not only from MM current lineup, wich is logical, but also from every sub-unit and shuffle unit she was part of... I think it's ridiculous to just pretend she was never part of that. Imagine a new fan a month from now, visiting H!P site, and not knowing that in Sakura Gumi there was a girl named Konno Asami, because her name has been erased from Sakura Gumi's lineup... Again, it seems ridiculous

well to tell the truth since KonKon is now officially out of H!P, it makes sense that H!P or UFA will no longer promote anything associated with her. It's now only up to the magazines, newspapers and TVs to decide with they want to follow-up KonKon in the future.
it's all about business, they won't do anything free to promote a girl who's no longer in their agency. I know it's sad because I really like KonKon alot, but I accepted the fact that she's gone forever in the entertainment industry and for now "will no longer come back".

^^ I am halfway thru her grad memorial dvd and will watch the rest in the next day or so. The finality of her leaving is hard to grasp.
In the haromoni skit we last saw konnocchio looking lonely. Will they just leave it at that? It would be odd to include any prerecorded konno skit appearances in future hm episodes, but for that to have been the end of it just seems too arty for hm. ???

I agree. They should do be doing the opposite. Before konkon fades from memory they should be highlighting everything she had a part in. (It would even be in their own interest, with sales to konno fans and collectors.)

Well Tsuji is generally more popular and more known to the public than Konno or Makoto is. Graduations are also more common place in H!P than members with broken legs and stuff :lol: Plus showing an injured sempai go to the concert helps promote H!P as hard working individuals while showing someone leaving doesn't really help much. In terms of news people want, Tsuji is more the natural choice to emphasize.
Konno leaving is hitting me very slowly as did pretty much the other graduations have. But the difference between this one and the ones I've seen is that Konno is actually going to be gone completely so I guess we'll see how I really feel about this in a couple weeks

It is so weird how though Konno has officially graduated and her name got erased from the site list and everything, but she will still be in the musical?
It doesnt make sense because when I went to get the musical ticket today, the sales person said Morning Musume and others are in it. When I looked at it, Konno is still in there.
Still, it still hasnt hit me that Konno left already. I havent watched the latest HM because I am now on my travelling so I cant wait to go home and watch them. >_<

It's just too depressing, it's so very obvious that makoto and konkon are
not leaving but being removed for fresh members.
If you think about it they let MM get too comfortable as we remember the constant face changes in 1st gen, and the addition of members, sayaka leaving, etc.
I'd say the current lineup is VERY weak and boring as hell.

I can see that for Makoto, but not Konno.
Konno is one of the top current members and one of the very few Musume's EVER to sell 5 PB's + a solo Alo-Hello! and a ton of other merchandise.
Konno was a money tree for UFA, I very much doubt that she'd be pushed out.
I'm willing to take the explanation given at face value.

I've watched KonKon's grad DVD. I still truly believe she wanted to leave. As for the reason she gave I'm not sure if its true, but as long as she's happy I guess. Can't say the same for Mako though. She looked hella sad in hers. I hope she wasn't forced to go :(

At first I didnt quite like Konno until Gatas. I guess she grew on me because of Gatas. So, it is a bit sad to see her go. I know she is quote the genius in the group so I guess I saw this coming. But please dont tell me Makoto was forced out. That would be wrongggggg. I mean they are not my fav. fav. members, but I would rather have than certain members. *rolling my eyes*
HP and Upfront is an *** for shortchanging Makoto at Konno`s graduation. She deserves her own graduation no matter what!!

I second this. Translation would be nice. I am not a big fan of Kanji. Wouldnt it be nice if everything is in Katakana and Hiragana? But my japanese friends say it is actually harder. With Kanji the meaning is more clear. Well, not for me. I prefer simplicity. hahaha.
