However, at least the car in the first pic looks cool. KITT surely needs "cylon-visor", but low-riding nose or David Hasselhoff are not that important imo

They were both labeled as being the new KITT. When it came down to researching an explanation for the discrepancy or not doing so, I opted for the latter.

My guess is that it's probably a "Before/After" thing. The bottom pic is probably how they got it stock, and then the top is after all the mods they made for the movie.

It might also indicate the 'high speed turbo mode' KITT in one of the seasons received sidepots etc. to do that.

I think, hte two pics are testcars, what looks better.
In the first with a high wing and complete black, on the second with stripes and darkened windows.
The first is the normal KR-front just without the stripes.

Soo... ep01 is 'out there'
(spoiler:) Lots of bad acting and cheap special effects/CGI, but they try and compensate with lots of hot girls and fancy cars:





Enough to see what ep02 gives.
