Yeah, it was some of the SKE girls (at least I think it was just them) though I could only really spot Nishishi and Miki.

Rather than start a new thread, I decided to continue with the thread from last year as once again in 2012, AKB48 will be the Kouhaku support team.

News released today, November 14th:

NHK Kohaku support team project - AKB48 X Kohaku janken

Different AKB48 members will appear daily until the broadcast day of New Year’s Eve and you can play janken with them by selecting a button. It will start November 21st at 12am JST throught the official website. In addition, starting 12am on December 1st through the PC site, if you log in to NHK’s Net Club, you can’t collect Kohaku Janken Stamps depending on outcome of the game. You get 3 for a win, 2 for a draw, and 1 for a loss. There will be a Kohaku original present for however many you collect.

Kohaku support team comment:

We’re very happy to be able to support a traditional event like Kohaku Uta Gassen with something AKB48 is well-acquainted with, janken. Please try it out.

On November 21 at 12:00 am, ‘AKB48×Kohaku Higawari Janken‘ will start on the official website for NHK’s annual ‘Kohaku Uta Gassen‘ program.

The members, who are serving as the Kokahu supporters for this year’s program, will take turns appearing on the website until New Year’s Eve. Through the website, they will challenge the users in a game of janken (rock-paper-scissors). The game will be accessible on the official website via PC, mobile phones, and smart phones.

Additionally, the PC website for ‘Kohaku Uta Gassen’ will start a ‘Kohaku Janken Stamp’ project for NHK Net Club members on December 1 at 12:00 pm. Depending on whether they win or lose the janken game, users will be able to collect stamps and trade it in for various Kohaku original goods.

The official performance order for the ‘63rd Kohaku Uta Gassen‘ has been revealed!

As reported earlier, this year’s Kohaku will feature performances from a total of 50 artists such as AKB48, Momoiro Clover Z, Hamasaki Ayumi, EXILE, SMAP, and more. It will air on New Year’s Eve from 7:15 pm JST.
