Just kidding, I know what you mean. That is why I put the discussion in the direction of the diversity of fan-service possible. But no matter how less interest you have in events, it is nice to know how you appreciate the idols efforts in it to fish you
I am not so much a fan of special standalone events as they are either too random, too complicated or too expensive. Admittedly I never participated in such event so I hardly know what I am talking about.
Cheki and Akushukai, the standards, are of course my favourite too. But I like it when a group often changes events, depending on the occasion, like adding group shots or signkai. A signed cheki btw is the best in my opinion, but a good mobile phone photo has some nice quality (and size).
Group handshake events are a two-sided sword: Sometimes they are annoying, when you just care for one member, f.e. But if there are several members you want to chat with it, this is by far the best option.
I think it is an obvious fact, that the more interaction you have with a specific idol, the deeper the interaction and better the relation will become. If it is liked by both sides is debatable though
