7-0, 245... currently a high school senior in Lawrence North (just turned 18 but looks like he is in the 30s)
Dominate, strong post player, unselfish... shares the ball with teammate and make some great plays
decent ball-handling skill and also he can make his free throws
(well i guess he is a little than Shaq with the ball-handling + free throw part but he is similar to shaq due to his presence in the paint.... whew, he blocks the ball so hard that it alrdy became an assist on the other end of the court :D) by the way
Next yr attending OSU (HELLLL YA) and possibly the #1 in the 2007 Draft... well he would be #1 in 2006 draft if it wasn't for the 1yr college rule they are enforcing
Also teammate Mike Connely Jr. is also going to OSU... I got a feeling the Buckeyes are gonna kick some ass next yr... they are alrdy kicking some ass this yr

Also another future prospect, Eric Gordon (currently a Junior)

Let's hope he does the smart thing and finishes college before entering the draft. You have to have something to fall back on in case Plan A doesn't work out.

What kinda job could a 7 foot guy get?
-
I bet he can make a lot of $ if he becomes a gigolo.
-
he can be a police officer...

Haha, Isn't Oden compared more to Tim Duncan then Shaq though?
(apparently he seems to be as marketable as Duncan as well, so no Lebron type endorsement deals coming up soon).
If he does chuck a Duncan and stay in college for a few years, he's probablly #1 on the 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 mock drafts.
Congras to OSU for recruiting bloody well after all the crap that have to inherit from the pervious fiasco.

Greg Oden showed a lot of potential in college and in his first years in Portland. Too bad about the injuries that derailed his career. Hopefully he has a chance to show us his potential a bit in Miami and doesn't just warm the bench or stay on injury reserve.
