Rika's giving us some info about her family life!

Her house has many flowers since both of her parents like house plants.
She also mentions that she was surrounded by the "soothing" flowers when she was younger.

Not gonna lie, that's a lot of flowers... o.o

パパは観葉植物が好きです



なのでいつ帰っても、
緑やお花に囲まれて癒されます

Today is Rika's mom's birthday!
She's 50 years old.
She gave Rika permission to list her mom's age on her blog, lol.
"A woman is a woman", Rika says.
(I guess that's in reference to the fact that her mom had to give her permission about her age and how women don't like being asked about their age...)

Rika says that her mom's birthday was good.
They booked a restaurant, ate a delicious meal, and had dessert.
She and her sisters paid for everything (I think that's what it says) as a gift to their mom.
Rika says it was a good way to celebrate her mom's birthday.

Yeah, I think that's the back of her mom.  Like mother, like daughter.   Peaceeeee~~ ^_^v

That's why Rika is so pretty - she's been surrounded by pretty her whole life  I'd like to decorate my own house with a few more flowers like that...

  I like her mum already. I remember my siblings and me trying so hard to get mum to do a love heart sign or peace sign at least for a photo, but she simply refused. Any 50 year old mum who does it willingly is uber cool. 
Showing her love for family is very heartwarming. I treasure my own family heaps, more than I do my friends (though most people will tell you to have a balance!). So these posts make my day.

The Olympic Ladies Figure Skating Short Program was on,
right before Rika's rehearsal,
she wanted to see Mao Asada skate,
and ended up staying up until the end,
with everyone (including the people in the company) focusing on the TV.
