Children Of Men - 10/10

Hardly ever been so involved in a movie. Everything about it is top quality, story, acting, action, twists, suspense, remorse, and best of all, almost convincingly realistic. The subject matter is rather poignant and mature, whilst being powerful and with hopes of better days.

I just had to watch this movie after seeing your glowing little review.

And I completely agree with it. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. Some of the camera runs in this movie are just pure genius. Incredibly immersive. Kept me on the edge of my seat for the majority of the movie, which is a feat. Merciless, and yes, very realistic.

Best film I've seen in a long time.

From Russia With Love - 9/10

The best Bond movie IMO. No maniacal evil overlords. No secret weapon to destroy the world. Just Bond being caught up in an elaborate and intricate trap which he has to survive.

I Watched the Simpsons movie. It was a nice film, really funny as well. Felt relieved since series adopted into movies usually means disaster.

The Simpsons Movie - 7/10

Pretty funny, it was just a longer version of the show. How about Maggie's first word?  XD I stayed through the whole credits, which I never do, I'm glad I did.

Otoko-tachi no Yamato

It was pretty good and they managed to pull off the CGI stuff on a limited budget.

Rescue Dawn - 6/10

Good camera work, good music. Pretty decent acting from Christian Bale, but overall, it wasn't something that would stick with you. I can't put my finger on why I didn't like it, but maybe it's because we've been spoiled by really good war movies this year. Letters From Iwo Jima, anybody?

Best film I've seen in a long time.

I had the chance to see a preview screening of Children of Men, and because it starred Clive Owen I almost never went.  But me being the cheap-sake that I am, I couldn't pass on the chance of a free trip to the cinema.  As has been said before this film is superb, well acted and technically great as well, easily one of the best films I have seen in recent years.

Thankfully I didn't miss it.

Oh yeah, the last film I seen was The Da Vinci Code...... :(

Escape from L.A - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0116225/

I would have to say it is just as good as the first (Escape from New York - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082340/). I would give it 9/10 mainly just because of the way the story is constructed then good is backfired against at the end.
If only you could download Goto Maki. I would be a happy man.

Bratz: The Movie - .5/10

LIEK, OMG YOU GUYZ! GO SEE IT!

Seriously now, this is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. The bitchy girl in the movie turned out to be my favorite character in the movie  XD I need one of her songs as my ringtone for when my sister calls (she reminded me of my sister so much  :bleed eyes:) Do not see this movie if you value your sanity. However, if you happen to be into shots of high school girls boobs, do go see it. But you're still going to wish you had some way to cut off your ears.

Macross: Do You Remember Love

Finally watched the movie again after 12 years XD

When I watched it that time, it was all just about the Valks and the gazillion missiles fired in every dierction. After watching it again, I learned why it was considered one of the best animated films during it's time (1984).

Confession of Pain by Andrew Lau & Alan Mark.

IMHO, not as good as "Infernal affairs", but at least we get to see Tony Leung acting as the bad guy for once, Takeshi Kaneshiro being fuckin' awesome as usual, and Shu Qi being da sex as always.  :D

7/10
