Let's be togetherTaking the flight back to the homeland, Sayumi have some recollection of the past just before her family migrated abroad due to her father's sudden assignment post.
That year, despite of her unwillingness, she still take the step to break the heart of her then lover, Reina by suggesting the breakup before she left as she knew in the long run, due to the distance between them, they will lost each other eventually.
So for the past 6 years, they have never communicated. Furthermore, with intention to forget about the girl, Sayumi try not to get information from their common friends about her. Same goes for Reina.
During these 6 years, both of them though have a swamp of bees going after them which they turned them down due to unforsaken love for each other.
Her trip back, this time round, was to attend the wedding of her 1 year older cousin’s wedding with her girlfriend. When she reached the ball where the ceremony was held, she met her.
She was besides the cousin, the bride chatting with some guests in the ball. Thinking that Reina might have put down her past with her, Sayumi went up to interact with them to get herself acquainted since it was her first time returning after 6 years oversea.
When the bride was introducing her guests to Sayumi, she suddenly feel the awkwardness of the situation with Reina feeling a bit tense up when she was introduced to the just returned and didn’t response when Sayumi initiate a handshake with her. So, the bride tried to break the ice, excused herself with Sayumi, saying that she has some catching up with her younger cousin since it was her first time return for her 6 years’ stay abroad. So, they left and went to the bridal room.
During the catching up with her cousin, Risa, she then realized how silly she and Reina were, not able to let go of their love for each other after so long.
After the ceremony, when the newlywed walked out of the hall off the aisle, where the bride threw her bouquet. Sayumi, intended to join in the fun to catch the flying bouquet, went after it and accidentally came into the embrace of Reina where the bouquet landed on them. Picking up and holding on to the bouquet, Sayumi once again took up her courage and confessed her love to the younger girl even that the fact, she was not very certain about the cat-like girl to accept her once again.
But never to her expectation, Reina accepted her and captured the long missed lip of hers.
