Stereopony (ステレオポニー, Sutereoponī?) is a Japanese rock band that formed in Okinawa in 2007, consisting of Aimi (lead guitar/lead vocals), Nohana (bass guitar), and Shiho (Drums). They are signed onto Sony Music Japan's gr8! Records music label. The band gained their first opportunity on the Japanese rock radio program School of Lock!. Their song "Hitohira no Hanabira" (ヒトヒラのハナビラ) was the 17th ending theme for the anime series Bleach.
Their first single was released on November 5, 2008. It ranked 25th on the Oricon Weekly Charts. They have also performed "Namida no Mukō" (泪のムコウ?), the second opening theme for the second season of the Sunrise series Mobile Suit Gundam 00. It ranked second in Oricon charts. Their latest single, "I do it", is a collaboration with fellow Sony Music Japan singer Yui, was released on April 22, 2009. Their first album "Hydrangea ga Saiteiru" (A Hydrangea Blooms) was released on the 17th of June 2009 and ranked #7 on the Oricon Weekly Charts.

It's not listed on the Japanese iTunes or anywhere else!
iTunes doesn't sell anything from Sony so no Scandal or Yui.

Man busted for posting threats on Web site of Japanese band Stereopony
A man who posted threats and demands for money on the message board of Japanese band Stereopony's Web site has been arrested, police said.
Shunji Onishi, 26, an unemployed resident of Nara Prefecture, was arrested on suspicion of attempted extortion. He has reportedly admitted to the allegations against him.
Onishi is specifically accused of posting 14 threats and demands on the band's Web site message board between Feb. 10 and 11, including messages saying, "I will break all of your bones with a hammer," and "My demand is money."
The band, which belongs to Sony Music Records, filed a criminal complaint with police on Feb. 26.

Anime convention AnimeNEXT has announced that its musical guest of honor is the all-girl rock band Stereopony. The band has provided theme songs for multiple anime series, including "Bleach" and "Mobile Suit Gundam 00."
This will be the band's first performance at an American anime convention. However, they have played in the United States before: in 2009, they performed at the South by Southwest music festival in Austin, Texas.
AnimeNEXT is being held in Somerset, New Jersey, on June 18-20. Their concert will be on June 18, and they also plan to hold a panel and autograph sessions.

I REALLY REALLY want to see Stereopony live. Is my only chance to see them going to require a trip to Japan or could there be a possibility of me seeing them live in the UK/Europe?
Stereopony/Scandal/The Brilliant Green are all on my list of J-Rock bands to see :(
I am hoping to move to Japan after university but until them I am stuck in the UK :P
Also that pic of Aimi in the post above is HOT! She's so bloody gorgeous it's unreal! It's all about those eyes :D

OK so this is the first time i've tried to transcribe a song and to be honest, it's not going all that well. I've had to look at those HD videos a few times to get a couple of clues, but I recognise the following 'chords' from 'I Do It', Aimi does a good job of hiding her chords...to me at least anyways.

Out of the 13 songs, four of them include hit singles like “Smilife“, “Hanbunko“, and “Tsukiakari no Michishirube” while the limited edition version will include a 20 pages photobook, along with a DVD coverage.

spec8 beat me to posting the vid I took (which I'm glad I uploaded since it seems a lot of people didn't even know they visited their booth). It was really great, being right next to them~. I actually had to lean back a bit to take some of the pictures. At one point, Aimi looked me dead in the eye and waved at me with a huge grin. I don't know if it was because I was waving (a bit too) enthusiastically (I was super excited/nervous) or because we were kind of wearing the exact same thing (stereopony t-shirt with a guitar pick on a ball chain).
Even though I've met a few japanese artists already, I'm still somehow surprised at how short they end up being. Aimi is so small in every sense of the word, I just wanted to sneak her away in a backpack and take her home (in the least creepiest way that makes sense).
The concert was awesome, Stereopony sounds great live. I wasn't able to go today, so I missed out on the photo session and autographs. I really wish I was able to get a picture with them, but I'm lucky that I was able to get a bunch of pics on Friday.

I want to upload Stereopony's DVD that was coming in the album " Over the Border ",
with the concerts of-LOVERS X'MAS Live Digest - and-Cherry Blossom Blooms 2010 Live Digest - but I do not decide if in DVDrip or in DVDISO.
Those that want the DVD say which of 2 you form seems to them to be better.
(I clarify: the first serious option in 2 parts - one for every concert - and in a weight of 1.08 GB.
And the second serious option an image ISO that practically serious a copy of the whole DVD [folder of AUDIO and VIDEO],
lists to be burned in a virgin DVD or simply to leave her and to see her in PC and the weight serious as past of 2GB - obviously-)

SFV file is to conduct the audit of the parts to finish downloading, if they have problems unzipping it by one or more parties, notify and return upload without problem.
To execute the verification must download a program that executed SFV, I use the quicksfv I recommend using it, and installed only give the SFV double clip and go.
(Must have SFV file into the same folder with the parties or can not be checked)

It was announced today that Stereopony will be recording a track for a tribute album to all female band Zone. Stereopony will be performing “Proof” along with other artists such as SCANDAL. According to CDJapan, “Disc 1 contains ZONE’s tracks covered by girl’s bands. Disc 2 contains original songs and a new song sung by ZONE”.

The official Stereopony website has been updated with a new theme for their upcoming third album, More! More!! More!!!, which will be released on December 7, 2011.
The album will come in two limited editions and a regular edition. According to dso’s most recent Stereopony Lover Live Journal entry, the album will contain a total of twelve tracks, including the past three singles “Chiisana Mahou,” “Tatoeba Utaenakunattara,” and “Arigatou.” One of the tracks features another Japanese band called Orange Range. Girl band Stereopony has revealed through their official website that they’ll be releasing two music video collections in 2012!
The first of these DVDs is titled “STEREOPONY to Moushimasu ~Miseinen Hen~“, and will be released on January 25th. This DVD will feature music videos from their earlier days, such as “Hitohira no Hanabira“, “Namida no Mukou“, “I do it“, “Seishun ni Sono Namida ga Hitsuyou da!“, “Smilife“, and “OVER THE BORDER“, as well as the respective making-of videos for these PVs.
The second installment, “STEREOPONY to Moushimasu ~Seijin Hen~“, is slated to hit shelves on February 1st and will include the PVs for their more recent hits, including “Tsukiakari no Michishirube“, “Hanbunko“, “OVER DRIVE“, “Chiisana Mahou“, “Tatoeba Utaenaku Nattara“, and “Arigatou“. Like the first DVD, “~Seijin Hen~” will hold the making-of clips from the PVs.

Stereopony to Perform at Sakuracon in Seattle!

It was announced today Stereopony will be making their fourth trip to the United States, and first visit to the West Coast, appearing at this year’s Sakuracon in Seattle, Washington!

Stereopony New Single: Stand by Me – 2012.5.30 Release
It was announced on the Official Stereopony Website Stereopony’s latest single, entitled “Stand By Me” will be released on the 30th of May! This is Stereopony’s 11th single.
“Stand By Me” is being used as the ending track to the new Eureka 7 AO anime and therefore will arrive in 3 editions; a limited edition with a DVD containing the PV for stand by me, the regular edition, and an anime edition that contains the anime edit of the single.
The title track is paired with one new song which translates to “wolf” and is a arranged with Serial TV Drama, who Stereopony previously collaborated on their third album More! More!! More!!!
Serial TV Drama broke up the evening before the announcement of the new single (March 24th, 2012) conducting their final performance. The track is described as a fast paced “rock n’ roll” song!

well, I made it through the press conference in one piece. There were 4 others there so I wasn't alone. Between the writing and their questions I didn't get much in, but thats alright I'll post all later after I get everything sorted after the con.

A truly sad day for the band has arrived... :cry:
Pop rock band Stereopony has announced that they will disbanding.
Earlier in August, the band went through a “recharge period” after AIMI (Vo) received surgery for vocal cord polyps. While she was recovering, SHIHO (Dr) and NOHANA (B) went abroad to study music. When the girls got together again, they talked about their future plans and ultimately decided to disband.
The members plan to continue pursuing their music careers. SHIHO and NOHANA recently teamed up with Evan Taubenfeld and formed a band called “EVANPONY“. Their new single, “Just rock with me / Namida Nante Mishite Yannai“, will be released on October 24th. AIMI will also continue to be involved in music in some way.
Before going their separate ways, Stereopony will hold their one-man live, ‘Aki no Yonaga wa Live de Norikire vol.2‘, on October 6th at Shibuya CLUB QUATTRO. During the live, the members will give a detailed explanation of their dissolution. The exact date of their disbandment has not been announced at this time.
Stereopony is a 3-member band that formed in Okinawa. They made their major debut with the single, “Hitohira no Hanabira“, back in 2008. After gaining popularity with their 2nd single, “Namida no Mukou“, the band held concerts in the U.S. and other countries overseas.
