In this clip, you barely see a shot of Aki as the young nurse, but the film was excellent, with Sho Sakurai as the young doctor, Aoi Miyazaki as his wife, and in an outstanding performance, veteran actress Mariko Kaga, whose dignity while facing illness is a light for Doc Sho. Fine cast also includes Taizo Harada, Jun Kaname, Michiko Kichise, and Akira Emoto, among others. See this film if you can........

Have more I can add in but just watched the first episode of her 2010 drama Tomehane!. She's ranked 2nd in the nation in Judo but through a few incidents ends up in the Calligraphy club.

Aki had a supporting role in 眠れる森の熟女/Nemureru Mori no Jukujo (Sleeping Forest of Mature Women), which finished in October after
9 episodes.

She mentioned in her blog, when asking people to watch the final episode,
'if you are asked to look someone straight in the eye, it is difficult to be honest'

So I guess the heart shaped cookie represents looking at someone with your true
heart showing. (But I am still looking at a cookie and am getting hungry!!)

Aki was cast in a supporting role in a film for television aired in March by MBS.
The film: 母。わが子へ　/ Haha. Wagako e (Mother- to my Sons)

Kaoru Yachigusa plays a mother of two adult sons, who lost her home in the March disater of 2011,
and now, with cancer, is taken on one final trip to the Northeast by her two sons, played by Toru
Nakamura and Tetsuji Tamayama.
