New TV show! AKB48 Kousagi Doujou.

Apparently replaces Shukan AKB. Starts December 7th. Features Terry Ito and Minegishi Minami as hosts.

1. Even though Shukan is pretty hit or miss, I'd hate to see it go.

So, what's the verdict?

Pro:
- Some in-dept questions so we can learn more about the girls
- Something new. In the long term Shukan AKB might have gone boring like so many Nemousu episodes

Con:
- I hope it won't be a complete cry fest. We get enough of that in the documentaries
- With Shukan gone we'll lose a big dose of weekly mindless variety and Ijiri madness
- Need subs. lol

And what's with all the love questions... Are they preparing us for something?

ep1 - really boring.
ep2 - sad (i don't mean oh that was touching sad. I mean kill it with fire sad). Honestly, someone should be fired for making tv like this.
ep3 - better. If gravure girls talking about losing their jobs due to AKB dominance isn't funny, heartfelt and realistic all at the same time, then I don't know what is. And Sae's one-to-one this round was touching too.

Teddy hosting ain't bringing much. And with Miichan doing the serious host work, she doesn't have any chances to work any comedy in like Sasshi on HH.

I don't mind the serious topics, but I think they can do it much better. Maybe they should check out LonHearts or something. If I'm only waiting for the end credits dance to get my fix of AKB entertainment, something is terribly wrong.

Episode 2:
- What the fuck was that. I gotta agree with Winner on this one. If this wasn't set up than it's one of the cruelest things ever.
- Miichan: "you can be friends" --> yeah, I'm sure that's both of them want. Pfffft.

Episode 3:
- After two sad episodes we get lemon touching boobs. That's a step too far, lmao.
- Mocchi going after a gravure/wrestling career? Don't give her any ideas please.
- Who said Paruru never shows emotion? Massive bonus points. The pressure she's been under must be enormous.

The show is definitely still finding its format. Terry doesn't do much, but I can't recall him doing much on Naruhodo at the time either

Oh,the irony..... A group of girls who have to swear off boys, help a girl their age confess her love to a boy- mission completed, and
all hosted by Minami, who, well, she had some boy problems of her own recently.

But actually, the guest Rika, and her intended, look like very nice kids, and it was a nice segment. But somehow it felt sort of asking a vegetarian to work in a churrascaria......
