SLY / Stephanie Yanez

She is not exactly Japanese but she sings in japanese too , so I guess that counts :P
She mainly performs as mainvocalist with her band SLY and her voice kicks ass.

Two YT performances of "Change with the wind"

Tokyo ,Yoyogi Park

SLY - Shift (Japanese)

I thought she was part Japanese? People thought she was the "Stephanie" that sang Kimi ga iru kagiri before they revealed her face to the public.

Pretty cool. Nice find. Violins seem to work well with post-rock.

*age*

http://www.myspace.com/qomolangmatomato

I found out about this band a while back but never really bothered looking for their stuff. They seem to have gained quite a following in japan's indie/punk scene recently. Pretty nice fun stuff. There live show looks really fun.

I found one person with their album on slsk but I'm still in queue. So I'm trying my luck here, anyone have their stuff and don't mind sharing?

well I managed to get their minialbum "hontowashigaraminonaka" yeah that's the actual title

enjoy
