since when can the NFL tell you what kind of TV to watch the Super Bowl on? I mean a lot of people will go watch on a TV bigger than 55 inches. They just weren't dumb enough to announce it.

Did a SWAT team raid the church?

I found this story ironic since NFL teams and players are very overt with their Christian beliefs: pre-game prayers, etal.  Of course we now realize that this love of god does not necessarily extend to its corporate affiliates.

It doesn't have anything to do with the majority of Christian players, but more about the league's administration. And besides, with regards to big groups viewing, it's the law. Similar to movies. If you want to have a public showing with an audience of more than 15 or so, by law you actually need to obtain a liscense from film co. Personally, I think that in regards to movies the it's fair but the Superbowl was on basic television..not even cable.
