HKT48 to Hold an Audition to Recruit 4th Generation Members & Details for Arena Tour 2016 Announced!

It was announced that HKT48 to hold the audition to recruit the 4th generation members, during HKT48 Himawari-gumi "Tadaima Renai chu" live performance at HKT48 theatre in Fukuoka, on December 19th.

This announced was made by Rino Sashihara and the other members did not know about the audition for the 4th generation members. They screamed out for surprise, and Aika Tada commented that "It means that Maria (Maria Imamura) will have Kouhai, right?" and Rino Sashihara answered "Let them call her 'Imamura-san' with respect!" as Maria is currently 12 years old, the youngest member in HKT48. The application for the audition is 23:59, February 29th, 2016. You can apply on HKT48 official site's special page.

HKT48 to hold 4th generation audition + arena tour schedule

HKT48 have announced that they will be holding their 4th generation audition next year. They have also revealed the schedule for their 2016 arena tour.

Sashihara Rino made this announcement on December 19 on the first day of HKT48 Himawari Group's "Tadaima Renaichu" performance at HKT48 Theater. Members who didn't know about the auditions let out a scream of surprise. Oota Aika then said to the youngest member Imamura Maria, "That means Maria will have kohai (juniors)," followed by Sashihara's response, "Let's have them call you Imamura-san!" 

The audition deadline is set to February 29 at 11:59 pm.

 

Meanwhile, HKT48's upcoming arena tour will kick off on Saturday, February 6 at Nippon Gaishi Hall. The group is scheduled to perform a total of 6 shows with the finale on Wednesday, March 30 at Marine Messe Fukuoka.
