Fair play to Bridge for refusing to shake Terry's hand yesterday:
Also, if you look closely as Craig Bellamy shakes Terry's hand, Bellamy clearly says 'twat'
Add to this Cashley Cole being dumped by his pretty missus for sleeping around behind her back and things are getting hilarious. Cashley even said that his cheating was his wife's fault! Shows how classy he is.
Though I can't quite get over this particular sports columnist, Oliver Holt, I read in the daily newspaper. He doesn't blame Terry or Bridge for this whole media scandal. No, apparently it's all Capello's fault.
'If he had backed his captain and said that whatever happens in a player's private life is not relevant to his performance on the pitch, things might have been a lot different.
'That would have damped down the flames of scandal, not fanned them.'
Uh sure Oliver, cause that's
exactly how the media works. He goes on to say how Capello has now destoryed England's chances of WC success by not having Terry as captain and how he created a minefield if he doesn't apply the same punishment to Cole. News flash,
COLE IS NOT THE NATIONAL CAPTAIN. How can you expect to follow a man when he's directly lied to you and slept with your gf behind your back? /facepalm
Back to actual football however, and did anyone else hear about the tackle on Aaron Ramsey?
Looked pretty bad, Sky even went and outright refused to show a close up cause they considered it too horrific. Hopefully it's not as bad as it appears, Ramsey looks like a young promising talent who we even tried to sign up at one stage. Just makes you wonder though cause the same thing happened to Eduardo, maybe two years ago? Sheer coincidence or is it because of the constant quotes from managers and players claiming that the only way to break Arsenal's flow in a game is to go at them directly and tackle them, which in turn, has some kind of hidden influence over opposing teams thinking this is the only way to stop Arsenal? I tend not to watch Stoke unless the alternative is a prostate exam, but I don't really think the tackle was deliberate. They both went for the ball and well the worst happened. You can see the distress on Shawcross's face as he left.
