Am I the only one who thinks that her speech sounded more like a goodbye speech ... or maybe it's just my imagination but the way she said that to be yourself is more important than the ranking, that she wants to be a singer and she loves singing and dancing ... for me it sounded like she was ready to graduate and I couldn't really find out the look on her face (sad/depressed/calm)

but I really hope I'm wrong since I can't imagine AKB48 without Tomochin

Well at least it wasn't like Yuko talking about her "last chance". That being said I wouldn't be surprised if this was Tomochin's last Senbatsu election. Before the election Tomochin talked about that she wanted to express her "true self" and that she doesn't really care about her ranking. But I think that's just Tomochin being Tomochin, she's a very honest person. Even her election video was like that, she was just babbling about cooking an' shit while other top girls were concerned about their ranking. Sure, Tomochin wants to become the new Namie Amuro but deep down she probably loves being in AKB48 since it has allowed her to do what she loves: singing & dancing. After this election I wouldn't actually be surprised if Tomochin decided to be in AKB48 for another year. I feel that she did better than last year and she might wanna go out with a bang

There was just something about her expression that seemed strange (she seemed really thoughtful) well I hope it's gonna be at least one more year for Tomochin and that she really goes with a bang since she really deserves it ... either way I'm always gonna believe in her and support her

So, I'm truly not the only one who noticed how Tomocchin's expression and attitude severely changed from last year's senbatsu to this one.

I'd miss her, that's obvious...but yeah; I'm scared. I don't want AKB to lose their Tomocchin.

I agree about Tomochin's speech sounding like a goodbye speech; I think her popularity started to drop once she started to focus more in fashion, because she started to give a more grown-up aura which despite being sexy, is not as playful and cute as an idol is supposed to be (according to some people).

She still has a lot of support and I'm happy she's aware of that, and maybe she had considered graduating before, but after Acchan announced her own, she (and maybe many others) realized that there is a time when they have to take care of themselves and rely in their own name to fully achieve their dreams.

I'm happy of seeing her more relaxed than in the 2011 elections, she is growing up and that's wonderful!
