Neil Patrick Harris (born June 15, 1973) is an American actor and magician. Prominent roles of his career include the title role in Doogie Howser, M.D., the womanizing Barney Stinson in How I Met Your Mother and as a fictionalized version of himself in the Harold & Kumar series of films. He also hosted the 63rd Tony Awards on Sunday, June 7, 2009. He is also scheduled to host the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards which will be broadcast on September 12th by CBS.

I love NPH. I used to watch Doogie as a little girl (what girl of the 80's DIDN'T???) and have been a loyal How I Met Your Mother fan since episode 1.

He was on the Late Late Show w/Craig Ferguson right before the Emmy's and it was such a hilarious show!

He can do no wrong. I never thought he'd do anything famous again after Doogie, what with the "curse of the child star" but he's doing great.

I still wish he wasn't gay though (although I totally respect him for it)....because the young Doogie Howser fan in me still totally wants to hit that.   :inlove:

he is quite quirky and watching "How I met Your Mother" couple of times he is a good actor and tried to separate from his Howser role but he is still Doogie Howser M.D. to us

Sorry, but for me he is no longer Doogie. The man is now DOCTOR HORRIBLE.
