Someone showed me this trailer for The Last Story, Mistwalkers (Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey) new game coming out for the Wii

Looks pretty good. Battle system seems interesting enough, has a neat looking battle system (what JRPG have you seen that has a cover system?), and the world looks pretty expansive. Only thing I'm not liking is the character design.

Mistwalker's track record is pretty hit and miss. Hironobu Sakaguchi may be on the team, but Blue Dragon was pretty mediocre by all concerned (or at least very traditional and very safe that there would be a select audience out there that would lap it up) and Lost Odyssey was regarded as being the same, though supposedly had one of the best stories told in a JRPG yet. I say supposedly, cause I haven't played it. Though I probably should...

Anyway look out for it. It's significant if for no reason than it might be Sakaguchi's last game. He said so himself.

Looks rather good to me. BUT I can't get my head around why it would be going to the Wii? How is that going to work? :panic:

Activision's officially announced its upcoming James Bond third person shooter.

Blood Stone is being developed by Bizarre Creations and stars Daniel Craig and Dame Judy Dench with an original story from legendary Bond screenwriter Bruce Feirstein.

It will be released on Xbox 360, PS3, PC and DS at the end of this year.

The game takes players through a third-person action adventure encompassing all things Bond including speeding across land and sea to unravel an international conspiracy.

NIER is killing me XD
Looks I'm too stupid for the DLC, can't get past the staircase, all the doors are closed, don't know what to do there.
Then I thought this would be the first game that I manage to do all the Achievements, but this is harder than I expected. The 30-Weapons-Upgrade is a time killer, farming all the rare materials is HELL. The fishing Achievements are too time consuming for my taste as well.
Hope these are the only ones I have to leave open.
Also I want to see the last ending NOW but since the game erases all your saves after seeing it, I'll have to postpone until I've done all the stuff I still want to do. I could watch it on youtube, but that wouldn't be the same, I'm strange in that way.

Someone locally is selling 22 PS2 games for 40 euro... I know that's a pretty good deals, but I can't bring myself to buy them because the titles aren't that great:

naruto ultimate ninja
second sight
metal gear solid 2
hitman
conflict vietnam
the sum of all fears
prince of persia the two thrones
max payne: the fall of MP
sword of the samurai
xIII
mummy
the wark of the kri
dragon ball z budokan tenkaichi 3
the thing
ssx tricky
darkwatch
delta force black hawk down
mission impossible operation surma
sims 3 pets
medal of honor frontline
grand theft auto III
haven call of the king

Still, if I pick it up and sell a couple of them I may end up with some cool games for free! lol... somebody convince me  :nervous

Of that list I see maybe 5 games I own or would like to play. I'd say you should probably go on eBay for most of them and see what price they're selling at. I wouldn't expect much profit if you sold them back. Especially considering the condition they are in can affect the sale if sold individually.

Kojima, Shikura and possibly Suda 51 are working together on an adventure game:

Link

Quote
Chiyomaru Shikura, CEO of Japanese game publisher 5pb, is working on a project with Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima. During an interview with Japanese publication 4Gamer, the CEO said that he and the legendary creator are working on a new adventure game.

Suda 51 is involved, as well, if a tweeted image (see below) from back in May is to be believed. The tweet said that a meeting between Suda 51, Shikura, and Kojima resulted in the idea for a new adventure game.

When 4Gamer asked whether or not Shikura and Kojima are making an action game, Shikura replied, “Yes, Kojima said that he wanted to make an adventure game. We’re still at the level of ‘let’s lock ourselves away in the mountains somewhere and work on the plot,’ so the specifics haven’t been finalized.”

Shikura wouldn’t comment on the type of story we’d see in the game, whether it’d be science fiction, etc. He’d need permission from Kojima to answer that. However, a question later in the interview hints at a new direction for 5pb’s usual “gal game” type.

“I personally love adventure games. To be honest, I’m not focused on gal games. I even think that it would be okay to have a classic style adventure game boom with nothing to do with bishojo or pretty boys.”

5pb is known for games such as Steins Gate on Xbox 360. Loli shooters, basically. We’ll see what comes out of him, Kojima, and Suda when they release official details.

Note: This project is most likely different from the project that may result in Metal Gear Solid 5.

Policenauts? Zone Of The Enders? Something new entirely?

Good news: Saints Row 2 is fun, despite being poorly ported from the console versions. Widely known frame rate and graphical issues were partially fixed with a clearing and restart of Vista's Superfetch feature. The $5 sale meant not feeling too bad about these problems. :P

Bad news: I really need to re-adapt myself to these kinds of games, because HOLY SHIT MOTION SICKNESS :barf: :mon barf:
