I cannot find thread about Fallout 3. It is very strange. Fallaut 3 is the best game, simply heads fall off, you just imagine, you buy a lot of beer and sit in evenings and  play to kill mobs, and graphics are ewasome great! the first time I generally just went crazy, much better than farcry 2 or stalker, DAD also plays, says - very well done!

Never really liked the idea of Flow or Flower, but the next game from that company, Journey, looks a lot more interesting to me. It looks like it has more substance to it that than the previous games I mentioned with minimalistic storytelling that suits Ico or Shadow of the Colossus so well and the art design is just really impressive. The Beta is out now for the PS3 if you want to see for yourself, but here's a playthrough of the beta so you can see what it's like just exploring the vast environments.

Last night I had one of those 'HELL YEH' moments that will surely live on in the memory. It's Dead Space 2, three enemies in front of me and incredibly low on ammo. I see I have the opportunity to make one shot, and only one shot, with the flamethrower's alternate fire. Had it missed, I would have been screwed. But it didn't, I took my time, took the shot, and the grenade launched and hit, engulfing all three necromorphs in flames. I felt pretty good after that.

Ah I have RoF lying around since release, shame I still haven't gotten around to play it.
My best friend loved it and was urging me into playing it, but I'm just not in the mood for a RPG and more for action games at the moment.

Well whenever the mood should strike you, I would highly recommend you play it. The gameplay is absolutely solid, the battle system is really interesting. Also, with arena combat, side missions aplenty, a cool gun customisation mechanic and treasures to be found, it's all what I could want in a JRPG. Oh and fashion choices which leads to a crazy amount of character customisation options that's prevalent even in cutscenes. Cause nothing strikes fear into the hearts of your enemies like a jungle camo skinned gun holster. Only thing preventing this from becoming a classic to me is the story. The characters are neat and engaging, but the overall narrative just isn't there and what little there is seems poorly executed. Maybe things will pick up later, I dunno. Love the look of the world.

Hearing Jeff Gertsmann mention Mini Moni in the latest Bombcast genuinely made me laugh out loud. Same when this week David mentioned Ebisu Muscats in the 4 Player Podcast. It's like when worlds collide!

Also Ryan and a couple others from IGN's Podcast Unlocked and Podcast Beyond talk about SNSD quite a bit. They also made SNSD name drops a couple times on bombcast that I remember. After Brad went to Korea Jeff or Vinnie asked if he saw SNSD or something. They also discussed the AKB48 phenomena pretty in depth on one of the early 8-4 podcasts.

One of these days I need to play Just Cause 2. Seems like my kind of game.

The new IGN xbox podcast I had never listened to but just randomly downloaded the Bioshock Infinite episode and all the sudden they started talking about 2ne1 Big Bang wanting to go to SM town SNSD ect. Surprised the hell out of me. So I started listening and in later episodes they talked about SNSD again a couple times people sent in emails asking favorites and stuff Ryan mentioned he likes Taeyeon and Sunny. Ryan and Stephanie said they would start a Kpop party podcast I think. Hell I would listen to it.

For me, its funny because you don't see Jeff getting into the whole JPOP scene at all, so it's quite surprising that he knows about Mini Moni, SNSD etc at all let alone use them in a funny context.
