Someone showed me this site, and I was reminded of the Observation Battle that the Morning Musume girls did in HM #268 (2005.07.17)... anyway. I've done art school and I've seen all kinds of art, but this is special. I really love this.

Lunch With a Helmut On. This sculpture is made entirely out of welded forks, knives and spoons and casts a shadow in the shape of a motorcycle. Fukuda utilized 848 pieces of cutlery to construct this work. See a video of the artwork here (http://neuro.caltech.edu/~seckel/mo...Motorcycle.mpeg)
To see more of Shigeo Fukuda's art, go to this site:
Masters of Deception (http://neuro.caltech.edu/~seckel/mod/fukuda.htm) Truly amazing stuff :o

I know @_@ I wish art school could have taught me to do things like this. Would have been more interesting.. xD

Wicked... You would have to have quite a keen eye and sense of perspective to be able to come up with shadow art like that. I mean... Looking at the 'real' thing itself, can't tell what it's supposed to be...
