If you're fan of JPop or Japanese music. Noriko Sakai is the name you must be known. Throughout Asian almost know her name in the very famous series TV "lucky star" (Hoshi no Kinka) with the very smooth,sweet & pure voice the song "Aoi Usagi"(Blue rabbit) . Noriko as known one of the most successful Japanese singer.

Guys,i told ya . Once you interested in Japanese music, it's a huge lack and pity if you never know or heard her song.
    Note: she has brown eyes

Whenever I listen to her, I remember when I was starting to like jpop (it was an old song already) since she's one of the first artists I liked.

One of my faves too, shame she no longer sings....there are idols but very few have ever topped Nori-P as far as looks and talent goes, :thumbsup idols these days need to look up to ones like her more. :)

Time to bump this up again, :sweatdrop: she needs her fan base back or some new ones, perhaps this will sway a few J-pop fans here, this is her greatest hits collection from 2007, a must listen for all. :)

Nice slide show here of her mid 90's show Heaven's Coins, she was in the first 2 seasons of it. Her character was a nurse who was deaf and mute(!), one fine acting job from her being able to do that so effectively, this drama had more drama in it than 20 others put together, she also sang the theme song to it, My Lucky Star.

Guess it's appropriate that she ages a year every V-Day, no doubt one of the most beautiful and talented performers ever, :wub: perhaps #1, the entertainment industry is not nearly as good with Nori-P no longer active. :sweatdrop:

Noriko is making a comeback, :inlove: she has a stage play starting next week and hopefully a few other things, here she is from the Nov. 29th issue of Friday.
