What's weird is that the event is no longer listed on the CLUB PRIDE website at ALL. This has also not been confirmed by any official site. It may be true, but it might be a hoax. I'm just waiting until the 24th (the event date) to see.

Is this officially confirmed to be a new unit for Nono? Because it seems to me it's just a temporarily group between 3 different artists.
Anyway, why didn't they put Yaguchi in it? She was so "Shibuya" in the drama "Gyarusa". Although she wasn't being a ganguro in the drama, but I'm sure she can pull it.
Anyway hopefully something fun will be done for this group, and I hope Nono don't get too creepy!

Is this a Joke? Nono in some kind of garu unit??? No way!! argh now I hate Aibon for leaving Nono... I personally think she doesn't fit into this type of style its just not her, I'd much rather prefer her going solo or even become a variety idol like Yaguchi she has that fun character while shibuya girls are pretty much... irritating (to me).
Well if its true then then I'll just have to wait and see how their song sounds like, but judging from their appearance I think it'll be a techno-ish 'parapara' type of song...

Since I see a lot of you writing like this "unit" is official, I wanted to ask: Tsuji is under contract with H!P and UFA, so anything she does should involve one or both of the aforementioned companies. Since there is no mention of this "unit" on any H!P site, or UFA site, or Tsunku's site, or TNX site (hell, there is no mention of it on Tokito Ami's official site and blog), are we sure this isn't just for that magazine spread and for the alleged performance (a performance that is not even listed on the website of the venue it says it will take place at)?

But there was an announcement from tsunku she would be with Ami Tokito right? There was a picture with Tsunku, Ami and Nono together.
And Nono and Galsone were on 'It's a GOHAN world' PR program eating rice together. Maybe Tsunku is trying to promote these girls together before he does anything official with them.
I'm not a huge fan of the gyaru look, im just glad it's not whatever you called extreme ganguro(im sure most of you know what i mean, like Tsuji's sister had)
I said in the picture thread where we discussed these pictures, that maybe Tsuji has secretly being wanting to look like this, but couldn't, so always wore some white eye-liner to show it through xD Her and Aibon even sported the look in their last PV(well the last that we got to see)
I have to say, I was hoping for more rock-esque cuz her voice sounds great when she pushes power into it!

I think because any unit containing old MM members is still considered a group related to MM.

I'm really looking forward to this. I reckon nono has been moving closer to this style for ages, just needed the make-up changing, and as TR said above, she is perfect for softcore ganguro. She looks great in the pics.

She does look great in the pictures, but ganguro isn't really my thing, so I don't know if I'm taking exception to this because it's Nono. I mean, if I didn't know anything about her beforehand, I'm not sure I'd be that excited about the group. But, we'll wait and see I guess.

If anyone british/from the uk reads this, she reminds me of Amy Winehouse mixed in with a really chavvy girl. It's not good.
Tokito, doesn't fit the look, but right now, she looks SMOKIN'.

Well, now that it is official, I can say that I have never been attracted to the whole GAL scene, and well, good luck to Tsuji on this, but I won't be buying it. Ganguro and Yamamba or whatever gives me the creeps :-\

I'm glad they did that magazine before announcing it as it gave me time to get used to the look!
I really like gal sone and love that I actually saw her way before this! lol and Ami Tokito I only know through THE possible clips but I have been looking for more of her stuff(slowly) and failing.
She seems like she doesn't seem as natural in this look as gal sone and Nono does (Sone looks pretty much the same and really only Nono hairs style has changed mainly)
anyway this unit should be fun! If it's just for this or ends up lasting longer, either way it'll still be fun! Extreme ganguro(or Yamanba i think it's called) is slightly...not creepy but along those lines, but the look they have I've already gotten used to with Tsuji ^^(though i do love her other looks, the lack of giant bow and granny bun always makes me happy!)
Isn't the ganguro style often associated with parapara? If so any sort of dance music(parapara or not) would probably be pretty cool. It makes reference to hiphop music in the wiki information though...i hope they aren't going that way...please dont go that way T__T I'll cry(i don't think it suits Nono at all...or Tsujiji as her name for this group is)

I've always loved the Ganguro style so this makes me so happy. It really goes good with Nono, as many have pointed out. The new hairstyle is great for her, she really needed something that isn't so kiddish as she was, and I think this is a good step out of the child-direction.
Thanks for the song, I really like it. It really makes me want to buy this single. :heart: I never knew of Gal Sone, but she seems cool and I never liked Tokito Ami, but I think this unit could make me care a bit about her.

Well I'll be honest and say I've always despied Ganguro. I reckon I can just about cope with Tsuji's new look, which is saying something really. I couldn't give a damn about the other band members right now really but I'm hoping this isn't gonna be a complete failure as I really want Tsuji to have something decent. I think we deserve it after W and all the waiting to be done. All that worries me is that this seems like a bit of a rushed job to put something together seeing as Kago's comeback was planned, they sure did decide on a style quickly.
Maybe I'm just being pessimistic, I genuinely ope I like the new band and even as they just serve as a novelty band which I think it will be, it could still be enjoyable. I'll be honest though and say I can't see it lasting very long at all.

Ya know I am personally not a fan of ganguro style but I must say of all the people I've seen, tsuji does it rather well. I don't understand why any beautiful girl like tsuji would want to do that but at least she doesn't look totally horrible.l I think they made sure to try to balance it out so she looks like herself still. Best to her and all, but I don't think I'll be jumping out of my seats for them... at least not yet

Had a listen to the song... it is catchy, and based on that live clip it could go on almost indefinitely as background music, making it potentially addictive in that stuck in the head kind of way. There is good potential in it, I guess if you do eurobeat style like that ganguro is a good wya to get attention going.

I'll be honest and and say I'd been just enough of an idiot to not notice that clip...
Eurobeat is not my thing, and I had a feeling that this band was either gonna go for this kind of sound or a really rocky sound, I know which I would have preferred. The song doesn't seem terrible, but I definately couldn't listen to a whole album of stuff like this. I'm pretty dissapointed I have to say, if this was used for another H!P member I didn't care about so much then it'd be okay. It's just a bit annoying to see one of my all time favourite members basically stuck in a band that I've got the feeling I really won't like.
I won't pass judgement jst yet but my first impressions are less than good for me.

Gal Sone looks out of place in this group IMO. The other two are cute and pretty, while Gal Sone is... weird looking. I don't mean she's ugly, just sort of strange. She's also far too skinny.

For me in the PR pictures she looks like she totally fits in but in the performance she does stand out a little, that'll probably go as she performs more though. But i do see what you mean with not being as cute though, but if they do another song she'll probably fit in more in that department too, i mean we've seen H!P members become cuter over short amounts of time.

LOL wth... I'm personally not into the ganguro or other crazy gal styles, but I do like the more normal gal style. I don't really mind Tokito Ami's look, though yeah, I'm just wondering, when the hell did she become a gal?!
Nono's look, I don't really like at all XD I was never really impressed with her looks, but now she looks even worse. She looked gal enough before, but I guess she or someone wanted her to go crazier with it... But I can't say it doesn't suit her cause well, it actually suits her pretty well. She looks like a gal. I actually sorta thought she wanted to go gal for a while now and I guess she now has that opportunity. Her sister was probably a big influence on that.
GAL Sone looks... well like GAL Sone XD It's not a bad look.
Not too excited about this. The song sounds like your average para para song really, catchy as all hell lol. Makes me wanna para para myself XD I'm pretty sure they're not trying to win anything with this. Looks like Tsunku is just trying to venture into the Para Para/Gal market. From the reactions of other gals, it looks like he could possibly do more with this.

I'm totally warming up to this, the live sounds like a live, but it's promising. I have no idea who the other two are, even after Wiki-ing them, but I hope to learn more about them through the group.
And gal Nono=orsm! I don't know why I like her so much like this (maybe I was just tired of the bun) because it does look a little bit off-putting on her. At the same time, though, it suits her really well. But so would a punkier look.
Maybe if she died some of her hair blue....

Well, at the very least the group will be put on hold while they decide whether or not to keep Nono as part of the group, replace her, proceed just with Tokito and Sone as a duo, or just cancel the group altogether. Considering the hype the group has been getting, Nono's current situation definitely throws a big wrench into the plans.

yah, even though the most popular girl is leaving the group, maybe there's still a chance for them to survive, i mean there's lots of girls at Tsunku disposal to add to the group, either in H!P or TNX. to tell u the truth, i wasn't really excited about this, but i do wanna try them out before making a decision, i do hope they'll do good though. i just hope the songs that they had already is making it release... has they even make their official debut yet? i know that they held a press conference before, rite, but have they release a cd yet?

That's my point, Gyaruru can't be huge anymore, which I think was the idea Tsunku had when adding Tsuji. Now it's Ami and Sone, well, I doubt we'll see high sales from just them.
Saying that, this group can last forever if they are keeping Ami the way she is looking now.

But Nono suited the look better, Asami looks slightly like she doesn't match the other 2 that fit the image much better.

It's such a strange replacement voice-wise... Nono was so high pitched and really stuck out in the vocals.. the last I knew from Asami, she was very low pitched and almost shrieky at times. ;;;;;;;

I think Asami/Abebe looks great in the pics. It will be real interesting to compare Tsujiji's version to Asami's.

I think Asami matches te other girls quite well because they're all rather pale for the gal look where as Nono was darker like most people with the gal look are.
But Nono still fitted in the group, she made Ami look darker than she looks here.
Also I quite like how not having Nono means that these girls, that don't get much of a big push, are now able to all be on top.
Nono being as big as she is was slightly overshadowing the other members, not that I was complaining but I dunno..I think the new line-up will work ^_^

hmmm... I don't hate Nono(got into MM because of 4th gen) or anything, but i think Abe Asami really looks better in that outfit than her. In fact, Nozomi's face(it's the makeup) really freak me out lol.
Anyways I'm glad the single is still coming out and I can't wait to hear/listen to Asami again. I think the last time I heard/see her sing was with Natsumi, singing some oldies(I'm not sure) on some show.

I saw those scans on the some boys! blog, if you notice on the 2nd page where it says PV, nono's wearing the other outfit, which is a bit of a shame because that outfit was reused aswell.

So what if Nono wore this outfit, it's not going to make it something taboo that can never be used by another, that's ridiculas. It matches the other girls outfits and has already been designed, chosen and thought through.
A lot more effort goes into this sort of thing than you realise. Even the bad outfits were well thought through.

Well, she kinda does, considering the image she's supposed to portray. Acchi's not tanned, yet she's supposed to be a "ganguro" type of character in the group. When Tsuji was still in the group they plastered a crapload of that makeup on her too for the same look.

Once you're used to elaborate nail-art and such, you get used to it. I had my nails done very similarly to what Asami has there before, but most of the time, I decrease the length so it's more practical XD

Sorry for the double post, but after examining the PV and the radio rip with Tsuji, I can say that a lot of long Tsuji part were given to Ami and Asami got some of Ami's parts. So they kinda switched in some parts. I don't know why the switch, but Ami FTW!
EDIT: After watching the PV for the 15th time I can also say Ami is a great dancer and the other two suck at it. Especially the stiff Sonene.

You can really tell Ami is the best dancer during the music interlude in the middle. Ami is like twisting her hands and shit while the other two are just bringing them forward and back. Abe looks likes she's bored. Sone looks like she doesn't know what's going on but I like her. She's prolly just nervous! It's her first PV! Ami and Asami are semi-veterans! They have experience. I think Gyaruru is my new favorite group. They are so fucking awesome even without Tsuji.

To be honest, I think they all did this all in one take, because of the rush. I'm guessing the nono version was better produced, because they had their time. Oh well, I still love it.

I'm starting to be a Sonene fan because of her awesome "talent"and I <3 Ami because she's a fellow megane-kko.
They were on MusiG tonight and Sone ate 3 kgs or so of curry and was like "Yea, I can still eat more....ooh, potatoes!" and she had some potatoes too...but all in all I think it was a "light" night for her. Diet? @_@

I finally ordered the single from CDJapan. I had a hell of a time finding it, because they spell them as "Galulu" there and I didn't think of that spelling with my many attempts.
Now sadly it on hand, but my other ordered items aren't apparently so I'll have to wait longer for it. I was hoping the order might get sent right away so that we could have some mp3s soon, but we'll just have to wait for someone else to post.
I really can't wait, I love everything about this single!

I wanna buy, but cdjapan is expensive with shipping. Yesasia at least ships faster even if the shipping is only more expensive by a dollar. Yesasia = 5-9 business days. Cdjapan = 1-3 weeks. WTF!?

So I FINALLY got to see the story version of the PV (it took forever because my mom's computer hates every file ever. I always have to transfer stuff)... and I have decided that Gyaruru is one of the best, if not the best, new thing to come out of Tsunku this entire year. :wub:
Plus, it introduced me to Gal Sone... and I immediately fell in love. :heart:

Glasses are what made Ami what she is today. She started the whole idols can wear glasses trend, hence why a lot of the TNX artists wear glasses. I think she actually wears glasses seeing that most artists do anyway.

Haha. I thought Abebe was cuter before she was... orange (Unlike Sone, who looks better as a Gal, really :heart: ). But hey, that's the style they are going for, right? I was thinking about the lack of Gyaruru (and yes, particulary Sonene) the other day, actually. I really do hope they release a new single, as they were quite entertaining and I was looking forward to hearing more of them. I imagine though, if they weren't going to do anything... they'd at least put SOMETHING on the blog?
