Title: Cat makes mail delivery 'unsafe': Canada Post

Canada Post is refusing to deliver a Winnipeg man's mail because the corporation says his house cat is aggressive and threatening the letter carrier. (http://www.cbc.ca/canada/manitoba/story/2007/05/04/mail-cat.html)

What a "lovely" cat.......The man should collect his mail in the post office

To us was also urged by the post to chain our "monster" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irish_wolfhound) because it threatens the postmen. Lissy has the usualness to sleep on the entrance between the cars, exactly before the mailbox. The dog has a police education and would not even react if the postman to her steps on the tail. I can put down her before the shoppingcenter and as long as I say nothing, she sits there up to the next morning without stirring.

Cat can carries rabies. Anyway, I would like to have this cat.  Shadow is good for guarding house and he also very sweet when owner is around.

And I thought dogs were a menace to mail carriers.
