I was going to work and passed the gas station and I wanted to know, "What is the cost of gas in your neighborhood?"
Irving, (Dallas) TX-
Reg. $2.79
Unleaded Plus $2.89
Premium $2.99
-
The lowest I saw recently was $2.75, I think. I'll have to doublecheck because I think it's gone up since the last time I got gas. :x
That's Northern VA, DC suburbs.

I'm not really sure the price of gas here, but it's getting more and more expensive as well :(
-
http://www.gasbuddy.com/
That's a pretty good site for looking at local gas prices. Somebody posted the link somewhere when they were bitching about the ridiculous costs.
-
These prices are USD/gallon ?
Gas costs 1.30 euros / liter, so if I'm doing the math right it's:
$5.92

Shit, dude. You WIN.

Check this shit (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,168003,00.html) out!
There is practically NO public transportation here so that's not even an option. Then if they switch the pumps off like they've done further south....    .

I saw on the news that it would go up higher but I didn't expect it to go up so quickly.
Here in Australia I saw unleaded AUD$1.22 / litre thats USD$3.48 / gallon.
-
Gas has now jumped to 2.99 regular a gallon.
That is better than the $6. The Dallas-FW public transportation is crap. I think in the US the only good public transportation is in the Atlantic/New England states.
-
just got back from the gas station
Reg. $3.29
-
$1.01 Canadian / Litre this morning.
Just under $4 / gallon.
It's funny. Half the gas stations have nowhere to list the price since they only have space for two digits (i.e. 99.9c/litre).

you sure that's right? by my calculations that's only $3.25 US/gallon. anyway, you guys have it easy out in the west, that's still way better than the price gouging going around these parts, 134.9 cents/litre :x

They're now raising gas prices in Finland because of Katrina's effect at world oil market. It's gonna be 1.50 euros / litre next week.

"There's no question gas will hit $4 a gallon," Ben Brockwell, director of pricing at the Oil Price Information Service, said. "The question is how high will it go and how long will it last?" (http://money.cnn.com/2005/08/31/news/gas_prices/index.htm?cnn=yes)
