Someday, Howard David Ludwig's Firearm Owner's Identification Card will be stored in a box with his first pair of shoes and perhaps a lock of his baby hair.
That's because the card was issued when Howard, nicknamed Bubba, was just 10 months old. It lists his height (2 feet, 3 inches) and weight (20 pounds) but doesn't note he's yet to learn how to walk. (http://www.saukvalley.com/articles/2007/05/16/news/state/135967565853328.txt)

^haha... nice picture...
but i don't get it.... why would they approve a FOID card for the baby....
can't they see that the picture they have recieve is a babay....
and also in the article is say that "lot of states don't check to see if there is a criminal background"... isn't that bad....

The system works perfectly. This is a loophole and what they got when try to micromanage every aspect of life by law. This is a loophole then fix it. No problem.
-- Actually the officer should talk to supervisor, delay issueing of FOID, then correct loophole, refuse FOID for 10 months old. ::) He just lazied that day.

Grandpa buys baby a 12 gauge shotgun...
Any guesses who needs to be in a old folks home??

Not really surprising for people that nickname their kids Bubba >_>
This is pretty stupid. I like how he tries to justify it by comparing it to other states with even shittier laws. lol

That's my downer of the day. The BBC website reported it as Bubba Ludwig without mentioning that Bubba was only a nickname :(
