Title: Gorilla Escapes From Dutch Zoo, Attacks Random People

AMSTERDAM, Netherlands  —  A 400-pound gorilla escaped from its enclosure and ran amok in a Rotterdam zoo Friday, biting one woman, dragging her around and causing scenes of panic among dozens of families before being subdued, zoo officials said.



I live fairly close to this, luckily I didn't run into this Gorilla haha..

This gorilla learns to swim or overcome fear of water moat.  Remarkable.

I was drawn to this thread by the word "random" :D I never thought a gorilla would attack specific people :P

Seems that Gorialla already had 5 escapes in its previous zoo: Berlin.

Correct.

Another interesting point is that the woman who was attacked, actually visited this gorilla three times a week.. so the gorilla must have known her..
