But I'm certainly excited. TPTB must have also seen what an awesome combo Koharu and Micchi make on haromoni@. Such an opportunity for profit can not be ignored of course :)

Crap. Aika can't really do upbeat stuff(ie. Kanashimi Twilight). She's better with songs with beats that don't require high notes(ie. Egao YES Nude).

Maybe it's just me, but the KiraPika thing, doesn't it sound like something from Koharu's anime? I mean, isn't Koha's character there called Kirari?

Anyway can't wait!! This duo is definately much better than the forced kohapink/shigepink - i mean clearly those two are bothered about each other at all. They're both just cute and tall...
whereas these we can see from H!M they actualyl get along!

So, YAY~! More non-mm stuff for koharu shall always be great and micchi getting to do something non-mm this quickly! Koharu didn't do anything for ages!

The new Koha & Shige pink? I kinda saw his comming wiith them being the youngest solo gen members. I am looking forward to anything with koharu( damn I said it... kiss of death) But i like koharu solo or with sayu only.

I really like seeing these 2 on those Chinese segments on H!M@ but as a singing duo? I don't know.... I guess they are supposed to be the new W now with both Aibon and Nono gone. But what happened to the SayuPinku and KohaPinku line-up? I wonder how's Sayumi taking this. Still, I'm open to good songs, so surprise me XD

I was told that the key was in Aika's family name.
The kanji for mitsu can be read as pika?

I'm slightly disappointed that Micchi is not in this duo. A Koharu+Maimai duo definitely has a other feeling to it, more of a leader+sidekick instead of two more-or-less equals.

Guess I'll have to watch haromoni@ for the Koha-Micchi goodness.

JBook has the details:
"Hana wo Pu~n" is the new ending song for Kirarin Revolution starting July 6th.
"Futari wa NS" is an insert song for the anime.
Both songs are written by Tsuji Yumiko (辻　有美子).

The single will also feature instrumental tracks for both songs.

If I understand this correctly then KiraPika is a new unit in the anime and also in real life. KiraPika consists of Tsukishima Kirari and Mizuki Hikaru in the anime. The voice actor selected for Mizuki Hikaru is Hagiwara Mai.

i can understand why some people doesn't like that Hagiwara Mai is joining with Koharu instead of Aika cuz that what most of u are hoping. but i say just give her a chance, be optimistic. I dunno what to think about this actually, so i'll wait when the single is released. i don't watch kirarin anyway or know much about it,the story sounds good, but i never had a chance to watch it. i dunno if they have it subbed.
can someone tells me who is this Mizuki hikaru? the character hagiwara Mai is playing? some info would be great.

My guess is that Hana is sung my Koharu and Futari is an image song for Maimai's character. Just a guess...

Hikaru's mad at Kirari because Kirari wanted Hikaru to apologize for saying Zakku-san(?) is ukki ukki like a monkey. But Hikaru insists it's ok because he's got headphones on and wouldn't have heard her say it. But Kirari says just because they can't hear you, that it's ok to say such rude things.

Maimai's such a punk acting as Hikaru, and Koharu was sooooooooooo cute when she got mad at the end of the episode XD

Good song but horrendous PV. Never fails, always the same. One of the worst, if not the worse PV by H!P in years. Song is ok but this PV just put it off-beat already. Ookina, GAG, HAppy... those are cute PVs. This bi-color crap seriously turned me off for the song. I will try to forget it and not visualizing it while listening to the song.

I think this song is so adorable and wacky. I was also excepting an anime song and also got one.

The PV is too cute and I love the "Pu~n" parts also. XD

Maimai is slowly becoming one of my favorite H!P Kids. o.o She's growing to be so pretty and such a good singer. Who cares if she doesn't sound like an anime seiyuu when singing?! XD Can't wait to get a subbed version of her first episode. ;)

They do. Of course there is a Johnny's Jrs group who is debuting and well, THSK, SS501 (both are korean boybands) and well, Aqua Timez who are amazing. But so far, they won over CHEMISTRY O_O

It's very close, 7th and 8th also sold 23K and 6th sold 25K. The ranking could easily have been higher but 23K is not bad. With a little staying power 35K, 40K is possible, maybe even more.

Gotta agree, with Koharu's songs that are directed to kids, they seem to have a different selling pattern. ex. Balalaika (http://wiki.theppn.org/Balalaika)

Kira*Pika has had an incredible run in the daily charts. This is the second week starting on Monday:

11   25   29   23   24   15   15

They ranked 24th in the weekly charts that week, selling 8,515 copies. The total sold is now 31,270.

But Kira*Pika is not out of the daily and weekly rankings yet! This is the third week so far:

16   24   20

The rankings for Tuesday and Wednesday are actually higher than the week before. Where will this lead to?

i thought futari wa ns was a very nicely written song, it has to be my top 10 list on my ipod this month. the lyrics are cute and innocent like as well.

When I said we "will know the sales Tuesday morning (Japan time)" I meant "Tuesday afternoon (Japan time)". The timezones still get me confused.

Anyway, here are the results for the 3rd week:

Ranking: 23th
Sales: 5,490 sold
Total sales: 36,760

Which means the 3rd week ranking is better than the 2nd week ranking (24th)!!! The sales in the 3rd week are of course lower than in the 2nd week.
