Jack Kevorkian, nicknamed "Dr. Death" for helping the terminally ill kill themselves, left a Michigan prison Friday after serving eight years. (http://www.upi.com/NewsTrack/Top_News/2007/06/01/kevorkian_released_from_prison/7445/)

this guy is weird...
i really wonder what kind of suicide systems he had created before...
-
So he had a suicide booth of some kind?
Too bad they don't let him share the information. This got me interested.
-
Wow. I almost forgot about him, such a long time. I bet that he will continue his assisted suicide mission. So many terminally-ill people look for his help.
-
I admire the guy's work myself but it won't be too long before there's trouble with him again.

It's tough to decide what to think on this. I don't think we should prolong the suffering of the terminally ill for no reason, but we also have to respect the rules and boundaries drawn by society. If everyone made up their own laws and codex then we'd just have chaos.

I admire the guy, and feel bad for the way society punished him. Suicide is a personal choice, but there's no reason why it should have to be painful and prolonged. There is no dignity in blasting your brains out with a handgun or opening up your arteries in a bathtub.

I wonder if the Doctor has any new death ideas?
If I wanted to die, I would like to enjoy my last moments doing something (besides sex). How about creating a Rube Goldberg suicide machine?
