Arihara Kanna will not be at the Osaka performance because of a school event and Okai Chisato will not be at the Nagoya performance for the same reason. (source (http://centuryland.jp/news/html/00000223.html#20070607185007))

Anyone know if its relatively easy to get from Tokyo to Sendai? I really want to watch C-ute live and seeing as I'm Japan when their performing maybe I could go to this one.
Any help is most appreciated.

How many are that this year? 4? 5? but no wonder, they seem to be sold out most of the time..
Sendai is quite far away from Tokyo, looks like there is no local train. I assume it's relatively easy to get there with a train like Shinkansen (or other of that kind) but it costs some yen and be prepared for some difficulties if you are not a Japanese language pro and if the location is not close the train station. I already had problems getting to the Harmony Hall in Zama which is closer to Tokyo :s (now knowing the way it's rather easy to find though). But if you're a huge fan it may be worth the trouble :D

I'm not a HUGE fan but I'm a bit stumped for stuff to do whilst I'm there. I've been to Tokyo twice now so have done all touristy day trips so if I can take in as many concerts as I can it will be well worth it. The only reason I was going in the first place was to see a Gocchin concert. I'm hoping to get a Morning Musume ticket (think they go on sale tomorrow ~ according to Himalia) so this would just top the whole trip off.

I somehow thought this tour started today, so I got up really early to check the setlist :lol:
But anyways, I hope Chisato/Erika have solos because that'd be awesome :heart: If they don't, oh well, but I hope they don't have just their own songs... I like seeing different groups perform other members stuff! It makes it more interesting (which is why I don't usually like watching v-u-den's concerts besides the solos)! I hope there's THE*PEACE! I somehow bet Maimai will have a Kirarin Revolution solo... Hmm...

I'm hoping for the new single too! I'd love to hear the group do a Berryz song (Yuujou Junjou Oh Seishun, Jiriri Kiteru, or Special Generation?)! I'd really love to see some T&C, MKB, W, or v-u-den too... MM oldies, too!
I'm just really really really hoping it's not all their songs... As much as I love just about all of them! Ooki na is definitely on my "I can't stand to listen to it anymore!" list... EVERYDAY YEAH and Sakura Chirari kinda too... But they'll definitely be part of the concert. They already have songs that appear everywhere, so I believe this concert will have Massara, Ooki na, Wakkyanai, Sakura Chirari (maybe), EVERYDAY DAY, and JUMP as definites, and then their new single Meguru and Bishoujo Shinri!
My guesses for solos are Maimai with Koi no Mahou wa Habibi no Bi or Futari wa NS, and Airi with some Ayaya song (Guesses: Love Namida, Your Song?) or Maimi with some Gocchin (Guesses: Genshoku, Yaruki?), and then Okai/Arihara in the same shuffled song with either Airi/Nakasaki, and then Maimi with Umeda? As much as I'd love an Okai solo, I really doubt she'll get one... One reason being that she won't be at one of the concerts... Arihara for the same reason.

I agree-- I really don't want to hear all of their songs again. XD I do like their first album, but it's been done enough.
I'd be beyond thrilled if Masayume (Aa!), Tokonatsu Musume (Coconuts; ZYX b-side), or Iku ZYX! Fly High somehow magically made it on the setlist. Longshots, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. And on a really random note, I had a dream with an Umeda/Yajima/Suzuki unit performing. I'd be totally freaked out if those three do a trio song in this tour, but, again, it probably won't happen. XD

Well, they've done Iku ZYX before at their FC events with the entire group, and on their first live DVD, they have everyone but Airi, Chise, and Mai sing it, sooo it's not that big of a longshot! Since their last tour had Shiroi Tokyo, I wouldn't be surprised by Gatamekira or Masayume either. Tokonatsu Musume is the only stretch because I see that as more of a summer song, and it's their fall tour? I dunno! Ahahaha :D

Some of their other songs have been more popular, imo, so why not get them out of the way? I always saw Soku Dakishimete as a song that wasn't as catchy as the other 3 indies, so I assume they just left it out for that reason. Not to mention I always felt that that song was Megukami's "song."
Tokaikko Junjou's c/w hasn't even been announced... Why would they put it on there?
And Buono is just suppose to be at the 9/30 concert... not the entire tour.

I love this song!! I really like Maimi's talking parts soo cool :) I am glad maimai got some lines too and it wasn't another Airi song! I can't wait to see the PV and covers! The Fall tour's setlist is okai I just wish there was an Erika solo :cry:

Wow, their best a-side! I really like it, sounds like Nari Hajimeta Koi no Bell and bit like Disco Queen. Therefore, it's an insta winnar. Quite honestly, their past a-sides sounded way too much like an anime (and one of them was for anime), so I'm digging the change of sound. Shut up, crowd! :x
Of course, I'd like to hear a more equal distribution of lines, but it's C-ute, they're new faces, and only Airi and Maimi are a bit known. They all deserve a lead for sure though.

^ That's the setlist. The "towel" version of That's The Power was absolutely hilarious. I had no idea random words could fire up a concert so much :D Erika was so bloody funny. She's created a character for herself that's kind of a mix of Yossie and Mako from the old H!M skits. Her intonation and everything, just brilliance.
The concert was amazing <333333333 Maimi fell during Natsu at the lunchtime show, and the dance changed slightly as well (got more... risque let's just say). There was also some kissing during I think Yes! Shiawase (Maimi jumped Chisato), and the full group Disco Queen song was amazing (that dance also got changed).
Plus the new single, absolutely amazing <33333 Yes I'm going to keep using that word, cause it fits! Haha.

I think Erika is not ready for a solo. She can't control her voice, at least not yet :-\

And I almost think that Kanna will be in Hana wo Pu~n now because I can see Chisato being in the other song more than Hana wo Pu~n because she's already been in a song with Maimai?

^^ Erika is more than ready. Live she has more control over her voice than Maimi does, she always sounds great. Maimi breaks easily, and even Airi can get a bit flat at times. They've all got their problems, but I think every girl there is ready to take a bigger part in singles, should Tsunku give them the chance.

The Tokaikko outfits are BRIGHT PINK. As bright pink is as possible without burning your retinas. The girls all had different outfits, either tight tiny dresses or shorts. Kick ass boots too.
The rest of the concert... standard fare really. Of note, pretty much every costume change, minus the above and the encore ones, every girl was always wearing her colours. Maimi; pink, Erika; yellow, etc. A few of them were frilly, others were just the usual (kinda like Maimi's Natsu outfit from the last concert). The encore outfit was just a white tank top and white skirt, with a big love heart on the top.

I thought she was saying "使ったタオル" (used towel)? No idea. But yeah, a lot of fans threw their towels up in the air every time she screamed it out. It certainly made the song more fun.

*re-listens* my bad, she *did* say 'Tsukatta Towel'. It's all in the preceding MC, where she's playing an... upper-class lady? Something like what Makoto used to play? I can't wait to see this MC (I really doubt they'll have it in the official & unofficial photos).
Maimi slipped... in the instrumental just before her last chorus/refrain? The recording sounded like it, although I was more interested when a ripple went through the crowd at the intro :twisted: They must have raised the bar for some more (the one during the Golden Date was somewhat risque too).
Setlist is teh win (heck, the second album is TEH WIN) but what's with UFA/Tsunku and dumping angsting songs in the beginning? They did it for Sexy 8 Beat, Berryz Kyuden, and this too?

The crowd went off simply because it was Natsu :P It's hugely popular. But yeah, she slipped during her second dance solo part, but it was only noticeable because of the loud *thump* from her microphone. She was already on the ground at the time (which, might I add, got sexed up even more... she was on her back with her legs up in the air at one point....). But she just laughed and kept on going <3

Kanna took Chisato's place in Tsuugaku Vector for the Nagoya concert (seeing as she was missing). Guess we'll have to wait until the next concert to see who is really singing each song, with both girls there.

They changed the setlist slightly this week - Futari wa NS replaced Hana wo Pu~n (Kanna & Mai).
Also Erika changed "Tsukatta Towel" to.. "Ittata Kenkou" <--至った軒昂? I have no idea, and I'm just relying on what the dictionary's giving me. 到った?
So I guess we can't call it the "Towel version". "Tension-Agekko version"? :D

^ The Tokaikko Junjou clip included in that recent EventV was from 09/30. The Houkago no essence DVD includes footage from 10/12. Enough time to get better :) xD

I doubt they'd use the first few performances, since Kanna and Chisato were missing from a few of them. Plus, Buono only performed at the 9.30 concert at Yokohama Blitz.
Since all concerts were performed live, it'd be embarrassing to grab audio from a different performance and paste it on (but they dump the instrumentals on anyway, it's just less obvious).

Ok, so I skimemd through the concert, and I just want to say I'm disappointed in the way they tried to cover up Maimi's vocals. I mean, she sounds different than the rest of the group! Does anyone have recordings from the 9.30 concert? Like in Natsu DOKI Lipstick, you can clearly tell that the vocals were pasted over! -______- I'm saddened. Anyway, concert sounds awesome, will watch the whole thing tomorrow! :D

During the final chorus of Ooki na Ai de Motenashite, Miyabi and Momoko join C-ute with the dancing! It's awesome! And my sig just says how awesome this cocnert is. The crowd goes wild during that part too! :D

Tokaikko Junjou
- I don't really like what they wore, but the extreme pink sort of helped to make the song more intense than what it was.
- Too many close-ups.
- But the dance near the end ROCKED, as always.

Meguru Koi no Kisetsu
- Strangely, the outfits fit the song imo. :lol:
- Lots of close-ups in this one too, but since I think the Meguru dance is mediocre, it's okay.

- The dance wasn't exciting at all. However, the "praise teh Osuzu" movement was a insta-win.
- Umesan and Maimi were really into the perf. Maimi's eyes :wub:

- THIS IS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT! UFA, USE C-UTE'S DANCE SKILLS OR SHOO.
- Megu's lines mostly went to Umesan and Maimai (I think Airi got one). Umesan did a goob job. Maimai did too... on some of them.
- Arikan's body language is amazing.

Time Capsule (Maimi & Nakky)
- Nakky's vocals were very inconsistent, and she didn't havemany expressions either. I wonder why though. When she's with the rest of the group, she's usually one of the most confident girls.
- I like the simple choreography for this one. Very cute.

- This song is still weird. Punkish clothing, a sweet melody, lyrics with some insults, and on top of all, flying guitars.
- I just watched this for Miya slapping Momo.

Tsuugaku Vector (Arikan & Umesan)
- Umesan had a very nasal voice sometimes, but I'm almost forgiving her because she was always on tune.
- I really liked Arikan's voice here. On tune, deep (sometimes she had this high-pitched voice, too XD), and emotive. Aaaaaaa.
- Almost no dance here. Sad :<

- Meh. On C-ute's first concert FC DVDs it's good, because it's just close-ups. But somehow, I don't like when C-ute performs it. The song alone is cute, like a calmer version of Sakura Chirari..

- WTH THIS WAS CRAZY. I LOVED IT.
- Though I hope that in the future they keep the Disco Queen singers to two, whoever they are. It's def not a group song.

- Some parts of the arrangement are disgusting, in lack of a better word. But I think that someone who's good enough can make a bad song sound great. That someone was Sato, and my god, she was AWESOME.
- Maimai did good too. She didn't sound as squeaky as usual. Although I wonder if that because she was next to Sato, and in the original version she was next to Kirarin (therefore making her voice a bit more cutesy-animey sounding)

Natsu DOKI Lipstick
- LOL @ MaiSato dancing at the beggining.
- Lipsynched all the way. And it was /so/ obvious. Actually, all Maimi's vocals on the whole concert were lipsynched. Bleh. I hope that they'll NEVER do this again. Be careful with your health Maimi :<
- Positive side: This was hotter than the Natsu doki lipstick Golden date performance. Maimi's hair wasn't as appropiate tho.

- Tsukatta TOWEL lol. Why would someone bring a towel to a concert? Doesn't matter, it made the perf stand out. As usual, they all sounded good.

- The dance is pure genious. Not crazy, not sexy, not cute, but like a mix of those and still creative.

- lololol @ the infamous MaimiSato kiss. Sato was really happy to kiss Maimi XD
- I still can't tolerate most of the song, but I'm starting to like the chorus.

- I prefer it when it's just Sato, Arikan and Umesan. Their vocals go well with this kind of song. And Arikan didn't get to grope Umesan in this group version :<

- Poor girls, the concert is about to finish and they have to sing this. Though they all had an exceptionally good voice, even the squeaky ones managed to control their vibratto.
- Not a fan of the JUMP x3 part, but I always look for the ones who jump higher. Winner was Sato, runner-up: Arikan.
- Maybe an outfit change would have been nice...

- I know Airi's not the emo-looking from Aa anymore. But does she have to be SO cute?
- Her dance moves were dramatic. She's got passion for what she does. You've got such a bright future ahead Osuzu-san.
- I didn't care for the clothing this time. She could be wearing a Sailor Moon outfit and it'd be the same confident Osuzu that I love.

Uh, you ever been to a H!P concert? All those sweaty wota? Trust me, they need those towels :P
I disagree about Disco Queen though. I definitely think that song absolutely wins as an overall group song. It's amazing with them all there. I just wish they'd split up the lines and give a few more to the others, rather than just the original two girls. We already have that version, share the lines out!

I've never been to an H!P concert, don't know much :P
I always thought that Disco Queen was meant to be a duet, it's just a personal impression ^^;; I wouldn't mind seeing more group versions of Disco Queen in the future though, they might grow on me.

It's fine as a duet, but as a group song it's amazing. Maybe it's also the live effect, but seeing all the girls on stage singing and dancing to that song in particular, I was like.... damn. This should have been a group song from the get-go. It's just C-ute.
